A colleague of mine bought a pound of a rare blend of kenyan coffee for me. Unfortunately, he did not grind it. So on my daily trip to dunkin donuts on sprinfield ave, new providence, nj, I ordered a few drinks (For my co-workers and i) and asked if they could grind the beans for me. The barista told me I would need to speak with her manager. Her manager, donovan, told me that they do not have a coffee grinder in their store. I quickly pointed out the coffee grinder that they do have and asked them again if they could grind the beans. They then told me that they have a grinder, but they could only grind dunkin donut branded beans.
I hate liars, therefore, this dunkin donuts lost my business and all of my co-workers!
Do not go to this store!

No it won't be me who they are suing, it would be the company. Besides you need a lawyer to sue. They make minimum wage, I very doubt they can afford the lawyer.

They can't fire me for firing them for a valid reason. Like for example I can fire them for coming late all the time, or for stealing or other things they could have broken the rules for.

Hate being lied to but you cant take food into a place from another place and get grinded or cooked or anything like that, it is a food safety and health concern, that would be like taking a hamburger to macdonalds and saying cook this for me, sorry but I would have done same thing.

Its the same as asking is they have a restroom. They may have one for employees, but will tell you they do not. You get to decide who you do obusiness with and they get to decide what to say to [censored] customers who ask to use their equipment.

Not another one. A while ago there was this teacher who posted saying she had banned students from going to a particular fast food restaurant because of some supposed injustice. You (OP) sound like her.
With regards to the lying about the grinder- they should not have done that. However, they may have been trying to be polite. They have the right to make a policy that only company bought coffee could be ground in their machines.

I would never expect them to grind coffee not purchased from that store. It was already said, but wth. Most grocery stores have grinders. You can also buy your own for very little. Walmart even sells them, and there is nothing better than a cup of fresh ground coffee.

What do you expect? I don't blame them for not grinding your beans. You don't take a different brand into a store and ask them to grind it for you. Now it was wrong of them to lie about not having a grinder in the first place. They should have just told you they only grind Dunkin coffee. But in fairness to them they probably never had someone come in with such a bold request.

I would've thrown away your coffee beans and spit in the garbage. What a strange request to get mad over. I hope all your employees head there on lunch and you fire them, then get your ### fired and sued for wrongful termination.

Aren't most states At-will states? I believe some states have certain stipulations. Even so, I assume something like tht would fall back on the employee handbook if the company actually has one.

Regardless, if this guy were to fire his employees for going to a certain Dunkin Donuts, I'm sure his management wouldn't find that too appealing if they found out about it.

(sigh) Why must big corporations lie to us? It is so unnecessary and it would help their business if they were honest.

Totally agree with the lack of customer service, three sets of packages were sent with my order and two of them were through UPS while the last was with Fedex. Apparently the Fedex guy couldn't figure out where we are and sent the package back the same day. In the past 10 days I've received no notice, refund, or anything that would imply that they are trying to remedy the situation. The phone line loops to an automatic disconnection and I can only submit one ticket for support at a time which is not receiving any response either. All I know is that someone signed for the return package 10 days ago in Tennessee and I can't get in touch with them. If not for this shipping error and lack of support, I wouldn't have a problem with these guys but that is where everything truly counts. Maybe it's time to take a trip to Portland, TN and make some face to face time.

You sound like your some idiot 18 year old. You probably can't even manage your own bowels. Grinding a different coffee will change the flavor of the next coffee ground. Which means your kenya blend will taste different if ground in a DD grinder. BTY, I can by Kenya blend coffee anywhere. It's not like it's anything special. LOL, just proves how stupid you are.
