management
My son works for this company and he has never had a problem until this new manager started . I don't like the way she talks to the employees. So this particular incident was i called a week in advance to let them know that my son had an appointment on Saturday I spoke to the shift leader and explained everything to her now being a shift leader she should have wrote it down or passed the message along to the manager but instead she did not so you have a manager going off the deep end about him not being there in front of other associate which is very unprofessional being i am also a manager of big corporation myself she tell me it's his responsibility to find someone to cover his shift but how so if he only works weekend's and that was the purpose of me calling almost a week in advance. But in the same breathe she txting him in class asking if he could pick up someone's shift . I don't understand where they find these people. All i want is an handbook. ..
management
They treat every employee badly. Gizel of dunkin donuts 1105 horseblock rd. Farmingville is by far the worst management experience i've ever dealt with in my years of working. She openly yells at her employees in front of customers, I have personally seen some people leave the store simply due to feeling awkward watching a manager scold employees openly. She will not tell you if the schedule is changed (And won't ask if you can even do the new hours). If you ask to go home early, she tells you yes then makes a "I might fire you" remark. The part of asking to leave, is most questions have two options, yes or no. She on the other hand will tell you yes every time, but want to fire you for it. If that's the case she should be telling her employees no rather than enabling them and then wanting to punish them for it. She does it very often. She also makes remarks that if you call out sick she'll say "oh, I hope you're not pregnant!" or "are you sure you're not pregnant?" and she asks all her female employees that call out sick, that question. It's uncomfortable and it's none of her business anyways. She's very unprofessional and as a current employee, I get complaints about our manager, gizel, almost everyday at least once or twice a day. Customer complaints regard her open scolding of employees as well as her unprofessionalism that she provides openly for the store. She works which is better than most managers, but she usually hides in her office all day barking orders around at her employees. I'm a very dedicated hard worker and I love my job at dunkin, i've only ever called out once and got sent home sick 3 times. Again, all with asking and receiving a yes. Then followed by "you can't keep calling out and leaving" 1. I'm very responsible when it calls to coming out, I never call out last minute, always very early (And again, i've only called out once!). 2. I would never leave if I was told not to or that I couldn't or shouldn't, my manager tells me yes, I respect her answer and thank her, then next thing I know she gives me the whole "i'm going to start training new people" speech afterwards. Let's be honest, every employee asks to leave early (Not often), and they/we get it. But our manager scolds us and threatens to fire and replace us for things that she is enabling! Stop saying yes then wishing you said no! Grow a pair and say no! You are a boss, be one! I love this job and it's devastating to watch it fall apart just because of one bad manager. Customers don't like her and I can tell you as an employee, neither do any of my other fellow coworkers, as they always complain as well about the same things. The only time she actually works hard is when the owners are there and she has to. One last thing, you know how things are supposed to be confidential between employee to management? Well aside from the fact that she yells so loud the whole store can hear her anyways, she also pins employee against employee. She asked me a question about someone and I answered privately, then she pulls me and that employee together and now, go figure, my coworker and I no longer get along because my manager told her what I said (Again, not even privately, she literally stood us next to each other and started her scolding). Oh and it took place behind yhe registers in front of a line of customers... And lets add that usually when there's customers.. You should help them before scolding. Basically, this store is chaotic. I get compliments on the employees, daily, and complaints about the manager, near-daily.
extremely poor customer service
I am a driver and I drive past this Dunkin Donuts at least 5 times a week. I often stop for a donut or a sandwich between 9:30 to 10:40PM at least 2 times a week. I have had really good service until recently when on 2 occasions in the last 2 weeks I have placed an order at the drive trough speaker only to get to the window to be told that they don't have my product. The second time I went completely through the process of paying and waiting 4.5 minutes only to be told that they couldn't fix my sandwich because someone had already washed a pan or something they apologized and gave me my $$ back. But they could not give my time wasted back.. I was OUTRAGED! I can understand that close to closing time that something is unavailable. That is fine. But DON'T WASTE MY TIME WAITING TO FIND OUT THAT YOU ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO WORK ON MY ORDER! This last incident occurred December 5, 2016 at approximately 10:40PM
discrimination, racist comments towards myself and my family
Store #35202 Order #141
Manager Ronnie K. Called the police on me because I had a legit complain... He discriminated me, and also racial profile me. I am a daily customer and I am very disappointed at the service and the experience over all. I am honestly considering never coming back to DD, after this traumatic experience. I don't want this to happen to other customers.
As part of my daily routine I went to DD to order a Cappuccino. It's usually super hot, so I don't taste the coffee to at least 10 minutes after ordering. By the time I got home I realized that I was served just MILK, there was not even an ounce of coffee in my cappuccino. I have been a DD costumer for so long, that I know the quality of the product I am purchasing. I understood that maybe someone made a mistake, by the time I picked up my kids from school I decided to go back and make the manager aware of the mistake. I was also considering that maybe a machine wasn't working properly and they weren't aware of it. I spoke to Ronnie K. Ronnie introduced himself as the manager of the DD, I explained to him very politely the situation, As expected he made me a new coffee. When he handed to me the new cup, the cup was spilled all over, he seemed a little upset at the fact that, me as a customer took the time to go back; to make DD aware of the quality product they were selling wasn't even near the standard. Ronnie K. Handed the coffee to me in a very rude way, he didn't even say thank you he just walked away, I was going to wish him a happy holidays and he just left me talking to myself, very rude. I drove off the store, once again the cup was extremely hot, I was under the impression that finally I was going to be able to enjoy my daily cappuccino. And once again Ronnie K. Served me Milk. At this point I got very upset, I know what DD brand consist of, I have been a customer for so long that; I was so disappointed at the situation, the manager Ronniw was extremely rude, unprofessional. I took upon myself t make sure that Ronnie knew that I as a customer was very dissatisfied, I drove all the way back to the store for the third time, but this time I walked inside. I asked ROnie for my receipt, BOTH TIMES I ORDERED NEVER RECIEVED A RECEIPT. I know my rights as a customer, and according to Consumers Affairs I am entitle to a receipt at every purchase. Ronnie K. denied me a receipt and started questioning me very rudely. I feel discriminated by the store manager, I am Spanish. And I believe that he was racial profiling me, there were other people at DD, and they were asking him to "CHILL". Ronnie K was being very unprofessional, rude and racist. DD is a well known national brand, and the store manager behavior is unacceptable, I am sure that if my complain goes up to higher rank levels Ronnie K will be retrained. Me as a customer expect the best shopping experience wherever I decide to shop. I ever intended to be treated this way, I am very disappointed at DD for hiring people like Ronnie K that insults and mistreat customers while wearing a name tag saying "MANAGER". I am spending all this time, because people like him should no be wearing the DD uniform, People like Ronnie K. Don't deserve to have a name tag saying "Manager", People like Ronnie K should be either fired, suspended, or retrained. I don't want Ronnie K treating anyone else like this. I have rights as everyone else, I am a customer and deserve respect like everyone else.
When I started to tell Ronnie K, That I knew my rights and that he should no be treating me this way, he asked me to leave the store
Ronnie K" Get The F*** out of here, Get out"
following it with curse words against myself, telling the other employees to shut up.
He finally called the Police and threatened me to be deported. I am an American Citizen and should not be threatened by no one. I am totally disappointed and I am forwarding this complain to my lawyer. DD employee made me feel completely uncomfortable, discriminated and I am honestly thinking on never stepping a foot in any other DD.
I believe the Corporation deserves the chance on making this right.
I believe that the company I have been a customer of for so long will at least try to make this right.
At the end I asked "Sammy" for a pen to write the employees names
Sammy said to me "HE IS AN A** HOLE"
I believe that Ronnie K, Mistreats employees as well ...
I expect a phone call as soon as possible. Please don't allow Ronnie K, to mistreat any more customers.
Why don't you learn proper spelling and grammar and check back with us mkay?
unethical behavior
On November 5, 2016, between 3-4 PM, I was meeting a friend at the Store located at 6110 Woodland Ave. Philadelphia, Pa 19143. I'm not a stranger to the neighborhood, I grew up and went to school here. I spent time in the military and returned to the area. What was really disappointing about this incident was it didn't and shouldn't have happened. (Training and Management on site) Upon my arrival I noticed how filthy the dinning area of the restaurant appeared. Initially I only made a comment to the person I was meeting there regarding the condition of the floors and tables. I didn't involve the store staff, I was looking for someone that appeared to be the store manager or store owner. After observing that there was only two store employees working, I gave this situation the benefit of the doubt. (Short handed) They were moderately occupied between the front counter and the drive-thru window. However, when the customer volume decreased, the store staff did not effectively utilize their time. Holding conversation between the two, while moving at what appeared to me as a relaxed, unmotivated pace for the very visibly ignored condition of the dinning area. One of the employees began to sweep behind the counter, again in an unmotivated pace or showing any urgency for the deplorable condition of the customer area. What this implied to me was this was an acceptable condition and that we were not going to comment regarding this condition. When I could no longer sit and watch this poor display, I approached the two young men working behind the counter. I excused myself and asked if one of the was the store manager. The responded that the was no manager on duty, that they were the only one working. I asked in calm non-confrontational manner and tone, "If they had to eat in this dinning area, would they feel comfortable with that?" Only one employee had a response. After giving reasons and excuses as to why the dinning area was in the condition that it was in, and that there was only the two of them working, they really didn't have the time to do the needed maintenance. Again, I carefully shared with this young man that what he was doing was giving me, the customer, was a bunch of excuses and didn't answer my question, I repeated the question. After some consideration, he responded, " No he wouldn't eat there either, " I offered them some advise regarding their responsibilities as restaurant employees, having once been on the side of the counter in similar situations. Only one of them had a response regarding my advise. (African American male) He continued to attempt to explain why this condition existed and that he had only started at 12 PM. (Only 3 hours before) I explained to this young man that I was only offer him the advantage of my age and experience; he continued to make excuses, not receiving any of the advise I attempted to offer my hand as a kind gesture, he reluctantly complied. The other young man returned to the back while I was having the conversation with his co-worker. He didn't respond verbally or otherwise.
Following our conversation, the young man that I spoke with responded by continuing sweeping out into the dinning area. I returned to my table and observe him sweeping while my friend used the ATM machine. During this time two young ladies entered the restaurant and began conversing with the young man sweeping. He continued to sweep, now distracted by conversation with these young ladies.
I returned to the counter to offer some more advise to the young man who had disappeared to the back of the store during the previous conversation. I shared with him that they need to be more vigilant regarding their attitudes regarding the customer and the condition of the store. Giving him the benefit of my experience as a mystery shopper. He responded very wisely, and maturely.
I walked to the door waiting for my friend, holding open the door, waiting to exit the store during which time the two young ladies finished their conversation with the young man who was sweeping. The first young lady excused herself and thanked me for holding the door, the second young lady exited not saying anything, intentionally bumping into me with attitude as if I offended her. I responded, "excuse you!" She responded in a less than favorable manner. In response to the altercation I was having with this young lady, the employee who was sweeping exited the store to approach me in a very confrontational manner, explaining regarding this matter, that the young lady, (I now make this reference reservedly) was his girlfriend and if I had a problem it was with him. I explained that he needed to "check" her not me.
The difficulty I'm have with this whole situation, other than the obvious, is that I am a man of color which grew up in this neighborhood, served my country, paid my dues to both my neighborhood and country, and being visibly older than all involved, I wasn't shown any respect or gratitude for offering the benefit of my age and experience, and was threatened by both your employee and his girlfriend. This should never had happened. You should encourage a zero tolerance regarding you employees conduct. That they conduct themselves in a more professional and mature manner. I nor any other customer should ever be or feel threaten as a result of patronizing your establishment
iced coffee
I get iced coffee abou2-3 times a week. The coffee is always too weak and taste like water. I ask for sugar and they don't put any in.I also have co workers with the same complaints. One has actually stopped going there because of this. The employees need to make sure they are making them right because you are losing business.
macchiado
I've been drinking macchiado from DD for 3 years. I have to because the coffee at DD is a watered down version. Macchiado is made with espresso and had a good coffee flavor. About a month ago, the 2 DDs near East Stroudsburg, Pa. started selling a watered version of the macchiado. It tastes like their coffee. I'm going to start driving farther away to Starbucks. I'm so tired of corporate greed. Shame on Dunkin Donuts.
drink and restaurant maintenance
The Dunkin Donuts, 3055 Schoenersville Rd, 18017 yesterday didn't have toilet paper in the bathrooms. Had to use napkins, no soap to wash our hands. Then went to order a macchiato and the espresso machine was down. They didn't have cookies and some other products that were on the menu. Then this morning I used the to go app and ordered and iced macchiato and paid through the app. I got to the restaurant and it wasn't ready. And had to wait 10 minutes or more making me late for work. And then on top of it the drink tasted horrible. This is the only Dunkin Donuts on my way to work. And it is poorly taken care of. Sorry for the complaint. Usually I never send o e but the last 2 days has been one bad experience after another.
They did not make you late for work. If 10 minutes will make you late, then you need to get up early so you give yourself enough time to make your stops.
jon, new cashier / janitor
After paying John a compliment about doing his job better than his predecessor he spazzed out on me and later lied to his district manager that I raised my voice to him and got me, for no reason, barred from going back that DD location. John has been there less than 1 month and has already become the reason for losing regular customers and their business. What seemed like a nice place to go to hang out in the evenings isn't anymore. The cocky attitude he gives customers, when he decided to make himself available, is highly unappealing. It's unfortunate that he is the only one who waits on customers for their orders.
manager
I work at Dunkin Donuts in Mattydale NY, I have employees at work that are fighting each other at work in front of customers. Swearing screaming and throwing head sets in front of customers who are not getting any warnings or write ups. But today I had a family emergency and my manager calls me to tell me she's suspending me when this is the first time I have called in. I am a very hard worker and have had to do many employees jobs as well, I take my job seriously and not only am I being treated with disrespect, my manager wants to suspend me only after I work the [censored]fs she needs me too then says she will suspend me next week. Over a family emergency. I believe when you work for an employer that the managers and. Assistant managers should actually be working as well, taken their job seriously and not treating their employees as if they aren't good enough if something happens in their life, that they should be treated with just as much respect.. As we treat them with respect. I don't believe it's fair I get threathen with suspension but yet assistant managers and employees can fight each other and nothing is done to them. Poor managmanet!
discrimination of employee

The dunkin donuts branch at 636 City Island Ave., Bronx, NY 10464 failed to honor advertised $1.99 medium macchiato. Stated the discount was only for phone ap or gift card. Why should I pay twice as much because I don't have an ap? Store is usually understaffed, at one time left unattended, with doors open, in the middle of the day. Often fail to honor...

My son works at the Dunkin Donuts in Morrisville, NC. Where he has been a shift leader for over a year. Every since he has started anyone that has came in after him has made it to manager except, him and his roommate CJ. I had the opportunity to meet the previous owners before the store was sold. The previous owner stated to me that my son was very...

Service is great but I specifically go before 6 am so the same guy, Kenny I think, makes my drink. He makes the best chai - a FULL cup, it's hot, isn't filled with foam and it's delicious! My complaint is the cost yesterday it was $2.59, which I thought ridiculous, but today it was $2.80 a $.21 hike in one day absurd. Seriously $2.80 for a cup of hot milk with a flavor packet...See ya Dunkin!

Management for stores located on Neil Street in Champaign IL : The manager bullies and slanders the employees in front of customers. Yelling and screaming at them when customers are in the store. State they have complaints when they do not, accuses and seeks to embarrass employees with lies. Most of the mistakes are made by the manager who does not own up to her mistakes or make apologies to her customers for her errors. Manager is rude to customers in the drive up lanes.
Management is worse than employees, I treat EVERY customer with the utmost respect. Starting with a hello, "how are you doing today?" "How can I help you today?" I repeat the order back, I tell them their total, accept their money, give them and tell them their change, followed by asking if they'd like a receipt or not (if they do, I mention the survey and free donut). I make them their order, I ask them how it is and if they need anything else of anything, to let me know. When they say it's good, I tell them to have a great day, to stay safe, and to stay warm (it's winter). And this is MY dunkin donuts customer service. Quick, efficient, and the whole time with a big smile plastered onto my face. I know I have no place apologizing for other employees and management, but everytime I read complaints all I can think of is, "I'm so sorry for your expirience and I wish you all could come to my store sometime so I can show you what REAL customer service should look like :)
It seems it is the same if not all but most dunkin donut places. I do have the same treatment at Donkin in Bolingbrook, IL 60440 located at the corner of Boughton and Pinecrest.
I refuse to walk in Dunkin Donuts coffee shop, even thogh I got hooked with their coffee for the last 22 years, until I deliver my complaints and get a respond from the management. I've been told that is unthinkable but still I will hold on my decision.

Feb 17, 2016, I went to Dunkin Donuts on 34th st; 51 East 34th st New York, NY 10016. There employees are very disrespectful, and doesn't understand customers. I asked for a medium macchiato and had to repeat myself 3 times, the male that I was taking my order wasn't even a cashier and just keep yelling his uniform shirt was brown no name tag displayed. I then went to the cashier to complete my order and pay, this guy said something to the cashier in there language and they both laugh. IT IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE STAFF TO BE SO DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS. I said to him are you talking about me, the cashier became all red and nervous and stated not to bother. I made it clear that its disrespectful to speak about customers especially in another language and didn't realize that I understood each and every word he said. I strongly suggest to meet with your staff and let them know that. I stated, I can no longer continue with my order, the other cashier was apologizing after I mentioned that I will be reporting this matter and request to continue with my order. I couldn't continue with my order after this incident, would you?
no donuts available
Dunkin donuts Egypt actually is not selling donuts because every time iam visiting it, they are out of donuts and when I asked how come I was told that they sell only half an hour a day as they did not expect a lot of people when they opened so they are out of raw material .What a shame and disrespect I think its better for them to close until they are ready to receive customer.what a disappointment and failure.
Disappointment,
manager
This used to be my go-to dd, that is until they made casey the manager at the 1414 newport ave pawtucket ri 02861. She is very rude, talks crap about people to the crew and customers, fires people then says they quit, hangs out with her assistant manager and crew outside of work going out drinking which has her having her "favorites" at work and they're the ones who get all the hours and special treatment. She knows crew members smoke marijuana on the clock on the property and says nothing but "don't get caught". If she doesn't like you she will cut your hours/make your life hell til you quit. She has been heard saying shes untouchable and nothing will happen to her. She lies left and right to everyone including her district manager to make herself look good and like she does nothing wrong. Plenty of customers say they can't stand her and wont go there.
customer service/employees unprofessional
In light of the recent dunkin donuts employees who harassed police officers I will no longer be spending one dime at any dunkin donuts location! Like most people of my generation I grew up on dunkin donuts, in light of the ignorant, unprofessional behavior of it's employees and their despicable treatment of our esteemed law enforcement community, my three children will not be growing up supporting this business! I am not related or associated with any law enforcement officers, I am just an informed, educated and reasonable member of the community who knows that if it was not for these brave, selfless, law enforcement professionals, our communities would be a cesspool of corrupt, lawless individuals. We all owe our law enforcement professionals the respect and admiration they deserve. Shame on dunkin donuts for hiring such undesirable employees and shame on their parents for neglecting to raise educated, respectful young members of our society!
