not honoring the 1.99 any size perks offer, refused to honor it & rude
tran seq no: 1599341
eat in order 341 on 10/25/2017
Hello, l Went in the Dunkin Donuts on Washington St Hartford CT and ordered a large iced coffee and I had my Dunkin perks that stated any size iced coffee is 1.99and I was charged full price and he was so rude and would not correct the amount off the register and told me oh well, your app doesn't work on our register as if my barcode is different than anyone else. They were so rude and over charged me. I am complaining this time, as this has happened several times where the perks offers don't ring up the promo price, but this time he was so rude. I have the receipt as I saved it so when I get home I can send you the info if needed. This is one of the worst Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to and I go every day to get an Iced coffee and this one has burned bagels, if I ask what's in a certain donut like a managers special, they say they don't know. They don't even try and ask another coworker to see what's In the donut. They are not friendly, the girls hair is everywhere, no hair nets, just long hair on all the girls, no-one washed their hands once while I was there. The bathroom is gross like its never cleaned. Please let me know what we can do to fix these issues and what can I do about my app not working for the promo perks as they always make me pay full price and they see the perks offers on my phone and just say oh well, u have to pay what the register says and there was no manager to talk to. I'm very upset as there is always an issue, and I get an attitude but I am professional and not rude to them. I just ask them to fix the amount to ring up as the special that is advertised. I've been in the food industry and the special price is always supposed to be honored.
please get back to me and let me know how we can rectify the situation.
Thank you, .
Susan Parreira
management
My niece was a former employee at Summer St. Arlington Dunkin Donuts and was treated unfairly by management. Because she was in college she needed a few days off to study, Without notice the manager removed her completely from the schedule! She was not even warned or spoken to about this. This manager is removing employees from there schedule without warning!
coffee
I went to drive through in danvers rt 1. My iced coffee was over filled leaving coffee under the outer rim of the lid. Thjs dripped all over my white shirt and my peach colored ann Taylor suit jacket. They should not overfill. In addition I am seeking dry cleaning compensation for my jacket. Please call me at [protected]. Thank you Marilyn Seuffert
Even with an over-filled beverage you should have been able to avoid spilling on yourself simply by paying attention (for example, leaning forward during your first sip). It's very likely they will not pay for your dry-cleaning. Consider using a Tide To-Go Pen.
store#303416 calumet city, ill
Someone at the Dunkin Donuts #303416 store is committing fraud. On October 17th, 2017 I notice a charge on my account from this Dunkin store. I haven't patronized this store in over a year due to someone making purchases to my checking account from this same store without my card being present and it was not me. I went to the store to complain but nothing happened. Now a year later the same thing is happening. The purchase is small but it's still fraud. What kind of people do this store employe!?
It isn't necessarily a store employee as it could be someone else who has stolen your information. Contact your credit card company to dispute the charges and then cancel your card so that a new card number can be issued.
But how can you make a purchase in the store without the card?
I will be cancelling my card. Thanks for the reply.
horrible service from the manager
I visited a Dunkin Doughnuts location on 10/14/2017 at 9:45 a.m. in Sanford Fl located on Rhinehart Rd. I went to order a Baskin Robbins mango smoothie because I do not like the original dunking ones and the manager Marco proceeded to state "Well, this one cost more" and I stated that it is fine. He gave me a hard stare that made me extremely uncomfortable and stated "It's always the complicated b*****s" Shocked, I said excuse me and he said that it is a complicated process to have to fix something that is a baskin product when he can just make it dunkin. I thought he was joking at first. I have never received that customer service response before. What made matters worse is that he fixed everyone else stuff first and then stated her forgot that I was still here. And then when I told him I will make sure I get in touch with corporate concerning his attitude he said "Lady, if you do i dont give a d**n. They do not make or break my paycheck" I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! When e did do my order after 45 mins of waiting...the order was WRONG
poor service exploited labor participating in privileged class parlance
In the good old days, the Library of Congress (LOC) in Washington, D.C. used to have a full service cafeteria in the basement dining room off the corridor. Like many institutions (hospitals, universities, etc) the cafeterias have been replaced with corporate franchises. This happened several years ago here. To save a little money meaning not having to extend benefits or protections, these workers have been replaced by the fast-food workers.
Instead of a full-service cafeteria all they have now is Dunkin Donuts and Subway.
But it beats all to see all these younger LOC workers lining up as willing commercial Dunkin Donuts patrons. I really dislike DD with a passion. It goes back to a family friend (Chinese American lady) who tried to open her own franchise back in the 90s in Renton, WA. She had a background in nursing but wanted to try working in business. It was a disaster,
and it wasn't because she didn't try or didn't work her knickers off. (I know because she would stay at our house). It was because of the rank racism, it's institutional, with DD.
For some reason imho DD really thrives with a base of square, hunky-dory types who are steeped in the dialectics of catholic white privilege. There's a classism embedded with a woman who can't bother making coffee for herself and who has the time to waste standing in line for 15 minutes to get some pumpkin donut balls (typically only two) at DD here to start off her morning. It's actually a thinly disguised social scene where we get to see them in their pretty shoes, Macy's dresses, plaid shirts, khaki slacks and whatnot.
In Renton, you got the Irish blue collar Jack and Jill types who just didn't like seeing anything run by anyone who didn't fit the stereotype of their class. That meant the manager should not have been a Chinese-American female (even if the negative stereotypes all but encourage exploitation as sex-workers).
Today imho DD still plays up to the stereotypes somehow with their commercials or commercialism. For instance, the charcoal donut ad in Thailand featuring a black-faced Thai "jez funning."
I don't believe they support their employees very well either, as generally is the case with fast-foods, meaning their workers may not receive deserve overtime, or vacation pay, or full-time benefits. If you check the BBB you will notice, for instance, as of today they only have a C+ rating due to failure to respond and they are not BBB accredited. There are, in fact, numerous low-star reviews about Dunkin Donuts at the Consumer Affairs website. In fact, I also find their coffee to not have much taste, and their donuts like puff pastry.
Here the DD workers also are rude to LOC guests. I had a coupon for $.25 cents off coffee, and the worker said it wasn't good here. She didn't even check with her manager until I insisted. Then she just stood there and expected me to walk away after she said the coupon was no good. She did not even ask that I might want to order coffee anyway. She just stood
there and did not say anything. When I tried to prompt her, saying, "Aren't you going to ask what I might like?" She looked at me very huffy and nonplussed and acted as if that was totally out of line. Then she looked over my head and around at the other people in line (mostly LOC workers) who also participated in gaming me by pretending I was asking a very rude question.
Obviously, like at a Southern ball, she thinks all she has to say is "Next?" With a willing line of dupes, I guess that is all she has to do, is act like a matron doling punch servings out of the punch bowl.
The environment here is part-and-parcel with Dunkin Donuts and Subway, this is why I mention it. If in past years, we had a cafeteria where cafeteria workers assiduously milled around the open service islands, cleaned the tables, and made small talk with the workers and guests, that was part of the sense of a camaraderie. Everyone participated in making it feel like a welcoming place. People had more choice and independence. The food was more authentic. It had real class. People also cared more about the food workers.
Today, it is more like a rank-and-file prep-school meetup. It blows me away that the LOC workers can't see the writing on the wall. They think they are the grand exception to all that is happening in the private sector and everywhere else because they are part of the privileged jet set. They are well-paid enough to not think about the big picture. Rather than dwell on the jobless recovery and privatization of the middle class job sectors, they can diddle away their time reminiscing about the Great Depression and New Deal. Maybe they regard it as part of sinecure that they only need to work 8 hours, somewhat leisurely, and then go home. (Boy are they out of touch if they think it's just all about learning some ball-room dancing and watching old-timer movies from the early 20th century.)
The DD workers hate the $1.00 coffee machine outside in the nearby snack room in the hallway. The DD worker saw me use this machine on a later date (to avoid them of course) and she purposely plunked herself down nearby in front of the machine to partially block people's way to discourage them from buying coffee from the coffee machine.
I can't imagine what it takes to make the DD workers love their job like that, except that they are completely brainwashed. They sure don't act like they respect people, themselves, or anyone else. In fact, it sort of reminds me of
how MerryMaids employ corporate brainwashing to make the maids love their exploitative jobs.
In closing, here's an example in the NY Daily News about an employee harassing a customer (colored worker harassing a female patron of color http://www.grubstreet.com/2016/06/dunkin-donuts-gets-backlash-over-workers-racism.html).
And here's the photo of the Thai blackfaced donut ad (http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/dunkin-donuts-apologizes-racist-thai-campaign-article-1.1442463) as if to insinuate that being black is just a joke, a flavor of the day.
Happy Dunkin!

moldy food
This morning 10/12/2017 I went to the dunkin donuts at 1435 Battlefield Blvd N, Chesapeake, VA 23320 and I ordered a sesame bagel with egg and cheese. lately the bagels have been really hard and seemed old but I did not complain because I don't want to be that customer who complains. while driving and eating my bagel sandwich I went to take it out of the paper after eating half of it and there was mold all over the bottom of the bagel. when I looked harder it was on the top of it as well. I have not been able to go back to the dunkin due to the fact that I am at work and was on my way to work this morning. By the time I am out there is usually a different crew that is there. I am super uset that I just ate half of a moldy bagel and I am even more upset that I was served an old bagel WITH MOLD. I hope this complaint gets back to the location as I will never be going there again.
coffee
I have been going to the Dunkin' Donuts on Merrick Ave in east meadow and this morning I asked for a pumpkin ice coffee with half a half . When the berista handed it to me it was very dark I asked him to put a little more cream into it . He did ( supposedly ) and handed it back when I sipped it after leaving it was watered down and no pumpkin it it
dunkin management deplorable ignoring complaints
Dunkin executive leadership is following its consistent pattern of ignoring complaints in that I once again had a problem at a store only to have DD customer service force me to wait for the franchisee to respond, which of course it never did. It has been several days past the established two-day
period for such a response.
My sense is that the franchisee never responds because it knows that DD does not require any effort to resolve disputes.
I once again left messages on the voice mails of virtually everyone listed on the executive leadership section of the DD website. Not one of them have responded.
DD customer service told me the complaint before this one simply to not shop at the location at which I was having the same ongoing problem. I have done so and now at going to stop shopping at all locations.
Spending more than a dollar on a stale doughnut is not worse several futile hours of seeking satisfaction when history repeats itself in the store. I can get just as good doughtnuts less expensively in the grocery store or have a better experience at CORPORATE-OWNED Starbucks and get a better response if things do not go well.
customer service
On September 27th at 3:28 pm I went through your Dunkin Donuts at 532 Oxbow Road Palmyra ME Store #306526. Transaction sequence: 5619379. I went through the drive thru and I said I had a tax exempt number on the credit card. The lady at the register (Bethany L.) was awesome but had to ask manager to do the tax exempt because she didn't know how. This twenty something manager comes up and says " we do not do tax exempt" and walks off.
First, its required by law to do the tax exempt. Though it was very little tax, I have to hear about it from my finance department which makes me look bad.
Please send me a voucher or something ( I don't drink coffee ) for this stupidity and poor customer service of your manager on duty.

management
At the Dunkin Donuts at 60 town street in Norwich CT (the one without a drive thru), management is deplorable. Not only do I know for a FACT that managers steal tips from the employees, I have also been inside while they are being berated and belittled in front of customers. They are frequently understaffed and I am guessing it's because no one wants to work there due to the unfair practices. Minors are closing without any manager or even a shift leader around. I've asked about this and was shocked! Just one other adult employee is there to look after things. I do not find this acceptable and I do not support or use this Dunkin because of the management in particular. They are rude to customers, and terrible to their employees. Who takes tips from minimum wage workers!? Disgusting. Many people are aware of the crooked management of this place and something needs to be done about it. I've never seen a fast food restaurant run this poorly.
unprofessional manager
Store located at 6912 Big Bend Road in Gibsonton FL. Store manager very unprofessional, impolite, we even snell alcohol on her, she discriminated me and my family at the store. This location is very dirty, we found more than 2 cockroaches, they do sandwiches with no gloves and like that they charge you, they are very unsanitary. They never have sandwiches that are at the menu. On this day September 21, 2017 there was an inspector inspecting the store and the inspector close a section down at the the store. This manager name is Sopheap Cabaniss, she is the worse of the employee's. Please think twice before you go to this Donkin Dunuts. They need to close this store like for real. Donkin Donuts choose wisely who you hire.

service
I went thru the Drive-thru @ 684 American legion HWY and ordered a Bacon croissant and a wheat bagel with cream cheese on the side. They failed to put the cream cheese in the bag. I grabbed the most convenient receipt and went inside. It was the wrong receipt. I rude cashier would not let me get finish asking for the... I would get to"I just bought a wheat bagel at the drive thru" she would cut me off and attempted to try and wait on the next customer. I finally pulled out the wrong receipt to her hear me out. She finally said that I need to the at the window. I took two steps to my left and they gave me the cream. Point was all this really necessary.
manager at the victory highway west greenwich, ri store
We have had nothing but problems. My employees have to leave work to go back and fix their orders almost daily. My family and I can not get our coffee, latte, or even sandwiches made right. It costs us a lot of time and frustration.
We have spoke with the store mgr on numerous occasions and sometimes she will help us with a smile, but most of the times she rolls her eyes, mumbles under her breath and can't seem to be bothered.
Today was the last straw... she yelled at me in front of everyone, and told me (and i quote)- " I am nothing but a problem and you should never come here anymore, use another DD instead" !
I filed a coorperate complaint and nothing was done, I also filed w/ eye witness news l and will keep filing until something is done about this manager.
I drive to another Dunkin now, even though it is out of my way- they have not messed up my order yet, and they are friendly. This is how all Dunkins should be.
Ps- my son still goes there because he does not want to drive farther, and they mess up his order as well, but doesn't say anything. Today they put his breakfast sandwich on a bagel- instead of english muffin and burned the egg and cheese wrap! He goes there every day, and gets the same thing... how can they be in business?
service, abuse,
Exactly 1 year ago from October 9th and on. Lauren Mcarthy was recently released from prison and we reconnected over coffee at the Dukin donuts. Since then she harassed my wife and I everyday until now she harasses my wife and her friends visiting the Dunkin donuts across from shop rite and new dorp.
She says vile and derogatory things about my family in front of costumers and when she is confronted she offers free product.. Please help. I will prosecute if this doesn't end and don't want to evolve Dunkin donuts in litigation.
My name is Luis Matos and you can teach me at [protected]
I'm asking Dunkin donuts to drug test this individual as she seems to be on mentally disorientating drugs.
I shop constantly at many Dublin donuts on staten island ny and would hate to be serviced by a manager such as her.. I appreciate you handling this as soon as possible.. Again we are very good customers. Please
have someone contact me asap.
lack of selection/customer service
I went to duncan donuts near me yesterday. I ordered a dozen donuts. Since you guys have narrowed the selections now, it's increasingly hard to choose what my family will like. I made most of my selections and couldn't choose the last 4. The cashier quickly grew impatient with me. She started if I didn't see some thing to tell her cause she had more in the back. Since you've narrowed the selections I didn't know what might be back there so didn't know what to ask for. So I kept looking. She repeated her statement and I just made a selection and told her to just give my donuts. Then she coped an attitude and even commented to a coworker in front of me. She took her sweet time handing the donuts to me that I had already paid for. She continued to complain to her coworker about me as I left and badgering me as I walked away.
Your selection has diminished so much and your customer service skills that you are going to put yourselves out of business. I used to love duncan donuts but you have grown so money hungry to grab a bigger market, you've forgotten what made you a household name. Stop trying to be something you are not and trying to grab a bigger piece if the pie. It's turning away customers.
For now I will use another location, but I imagine soon I will go back to the higher prices but better Krispy creme donuts down the street . At least I get better service and better selection from them I guess you get what you pay for. At least they just try to sell DONUTS and not be Starbucks or panera.
iced coffee
I bought an iced coffee on 9/6/17 at 1 pm. I sucked up a piece of plastic upon nearing the end of my drink. I wasn't sure if it was glass or plastic so i took it out and after looking closer it was definitely plastic. Besides having no idea where it came from the fact that i nearly swallowed a piece of plastic is unacceptable especially given how much I go here. I have it and have taken a picture. Please let me know what will be done about this.
dunkin donuts in winthrop ma
I had asked for a hot cup for my iced coffee. I know sometimes they have to sell them to you which is fine with me. So this woman who works there, when I asked for one, goes.." no, too expensive" so I offered to pay for one. She's again goes ..." No, too expensive " so I said fine, I'll buy a large hot coffee, hold the coffee. She goes to fine.. $5. $5?! Really ? So your employees are trying to pocket customer money from my experience there. I will never go there again. I spend thousands a year at dunks and I'm strongly considering going to Starbucks from now on.
cashiers rude
Got gas today employee could not figure out the plenti points was extremely rude, vapid We are are on a budget and because the cashiers could not preform their jobs correctly now I will have to make my money go farther than was planned for . Cashier told me I needed to speak slower as she could not understand me. What kind of people are you hiring? Not very good customer service
