Dollar Tree I work at store #2609 and I am being treated unfairly.

I have been at Store #2609 for almost two years now and I am always on time for work and I stay later when someone is late for their shift. If the lines get a little long I get yelled at to help but when I have a long line no one helps me with it and when I sweep the store when it gets dirty or I clean the register's I get in trouble for cleaning when I get no other assignment to do.

Dollar Tree trash can overflow, trash in parking lot

DollarTree
1723 S. Main St
Gainesville, FL 32601-8696

Additional Comment:

There is garbage all over the parking lot of your store. I live fairly close by and it is starting to be an eyesore. Recent road construction and improvements to this area make it imperative that you take care of you landscape and trash. Please let me know what actions you will take to improve this situation. I recommend daily trash pickup, better trashcan, landscaping maintenance.

Dollar Tree employee service

I was going into the Dollar Tree (there was an employee on break smoking in front of the store - I don't care they work for minimum wage). I mention this because she was a witness and she's worked there for a long time. But there was a red shopping cart that looked like it could roll away so I thought I would be helpful and take it in. The employee outside didn't say anything, but the employee inside angrily scolded me for bringing in the cart (I didn't realize it belonged to the grocery store down the way). What would it hurt to rather assume I was doing something wrong, and simply inform me in a polite way. I have only once ever complained about an employee from any store, but this just rubbed me the wrong way. It happened tonight at the South Williamsport, PA store and an older man, balding, with glasses was the employee.

Dollar Tree returns

Hello, thank you for your time. Today I made a sizable purchase for a class party. Unfortunately the party started late due to inclimant weather and we were not able to use the items for the party. Because the outdoors portion of the party was canceled, the school will not reimburse me and school is ending so no rescheduling. They played and colored in the classroom. Although I originally did not plan to return said items, I did not imagine there would be an issue.
It would mean so much to me and my family if I could receive a refund. I literally tried to return the items within 4/5 hours. All untouched. I asked for a store credit was told I couldn't do that either. We shop at the Dollar Tree often and have been loyal customers.
Please help me. I would be beyond grateful.
Thank you,
Jamie Topoleski

Dollar Tree manager at brooklyn mi store

As I was walking toward the store door the manager came out to inform me my dog (3lb) which we were carrying in our arms was not allowed in the store. There is no signs on the store front that says no dogs allowed. The manager was very rude as we explained that we have never had a problem anywhere we take our dog ( Dollar General, Walmart, Meijer) the manager would not listen to me and turned his back and walked away.

Dollar Tree store in general

Store # 7093, 500 Tillman St, Memphis, TN
This is perhaps the worst Dollar Tree I've been in. The store itself is just a general mess with merchandise scattered about, empty shelves, and employees that are loud and obnoxious with poor customer interaction.
I will still go to Dollar Tree but never again at this location. Check it out, compare your stores and fix your issues.
Thanks

Dollar Tree store and parking lot maintenance

This pertains to a brand new Dollartree location at 5811 Prosperity Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269-1128, Store number 7703.

This is a new location in a middle class neighborhood. The businesses in the area maintain a high standard of maintenance in and out of their respective properties. A recent visit to the above mentioned store revealed a filthy floor any many displaced items. In addition, the parking lot was covered with debris and food wrappers.

Since this a brand new location (less than a year old), I can only imagine how bad it might become if these issues are not remedied immediately. I hope that this notice will be forwarded to the proper department so the these maintenance issues can be addressed ASAP.

Dollar Tree condition of store

One of the two stores in Spring Hill TN is open, but has had no lights all weekend and today. No one has come out to service the problem. What is going on? I shopped, but I can't see much! And two weeks ago the the store did not open until noon, as no manager showed up (employees did) to open the doors. Again, what is going on with the management of this store? Please respond.

And here's another store that used to be stellar, but had numerous empty shelves and all the items mixed up throughout the store when we visited on Saturday, June 15. I never have seen such a messed up store. What is going on with Dollar Tree in this region? Please look into this and let me know what is up. I have shopped there for 16 years and never seen such a mess, lack of product, and items just mixed up all over.

Manager - Misha
Time: around 8:PM

I was shopping and overheard the store manager being very rude and disrespectful towards two unrelated customers about trying to obtain the use of the bathroom. In a very arrogant tone she told them, they are going to have to wait. The manager, Misha then closed herself in a small room for some time. She came out and had the two customers randomly follow her about the stoor looking for the key. I thought the young man was going to wet himself. After the woman came out, the female customer stated it was unacceptable how she had to go through this just to use the bathroom. The manager replied telling her she should shop somewhere else. Well, all I can say is it escalated from there where the manager said "Get out my store" Some fella online corrected her English and she told him "you could get out her store too". I decided to remove myself from that environment as well before it escalated any further. I hope you address this matter and take corrective measures. As for me, I will use the Farmingville store and avoid this toxic atmosphere.

Dollar Tree unethical behavior of manager meesha at medford, ny store

On June 15, 2019 I was a customer at the Medford, NY store on Horseblock Road. I asked where the restroom was and Meesha told me I had to wait while she went behind closed doors with another employee. It was quite lengthy while she was away and another customer (young man) asked me if I was waiting for the bathroom. I said yes. After waiting a over 15 minutes I went to a cashier and asked her for the key. She said I had to wait for the manager Meesha. Then another employee went around the store looking for the key. This was unacceptable to me. Finally Meesha came out and I asked where the key was. Well, she led me on a wild goose chase for the bathroom key. I told her this was unacceptable and she said I should get out (which you don't say to a customer). She eventually found the key and opened the bathroom but told the young man he had to wait because the men's room was out of order. When I was done, I went to find the store manager to ask her name and who her manager was and she told me she was the manager. I said her behavior was unacceptable and she started yelling at me to GET OUT MY STORE. All the customers heads turned and I told her you don't speak to customers that way. I eventually left and went to a more amenable Dollar Tree down the road. Please have this matter addressed in a timely fashion.
Thank you for your attention to this concern.

Dollar Tree albemarle store manager

After picking up 15 items I got in line at the cash register. After waiting for two or three people to check out it was one customer finishing her transaction and another with items on the belt, then me, and at least one other customer behind me. The manager comes up and slaps down the closed lane and walks away. When she came back a few minutes later I asked if she intended to let me proceed? She said no that the cashier had to leave at 3:30 because of the budget.
Anyone who has ever worked a service job knows the schedule normally status on Thursday or Friday so you can cover your busiest times and then cuts are made on the back side of schedule to meet budget. So I'm calling her on telling the truth on that one.
I left $15 dollars worth of items in the cart and walked out because I wasn't about to move to the ended of another long line after already waiting.
So $15 dollars not sold. 15 items that now have to be put back on a shelf and a customer that will gladly take her business to Rose's in the next parking lot over.
Kind of blows store budget

Dollar Tree store manager mahesh

On june, 14th 2019 I, along with my three daughters ages 8, 6 and 1year old visited Dollar tree store no 5818 located at 16750 south west freeway, sugar land, TX 77479.I am a regular shopper at this store so are several friends of mine.Over the past couple of years all of us have noticed a steady decline in the level of customer service and curtoursy provided and blatant racial profiling and targeting of specific ethnicity customers by store management.Today however was the worst experience of all. After purchasing about $100 of merchandise I approached a gentleman working at the balloon counter as he was filling helium baloons for a white female customer .I waited for him to finish his transaction with that customer .Afterwords, I selected an uninflated balloon and requested him to fill it with helium. To my shock and surprise he very abruptly told me there was no more helium. He said so with a very rude and condescending tone of voice and refused to fill the ballons.Realizing that he was perhaps having a bad day at work, I selected two inflated ballons and handed them to my 6 year old.As we moved away from the counter, one of the balloon slipped out of my child's hands and floated towards the ceiling .At that point this gentleman, Mahesh became uncontrollably belligerent and in a very loud, threatening and hostile voice yelled at me and my children that you will have to pay for that balloon. His violent demeanor and loud, threatening voice frightened my children and my one year old and my six year old got so scared that they started crying.Mahesh called me a lousy parent and that I had no parenting skills in controlling my children.I was torn between whether to respond to his aggression or take care of my frightened children. He continued to threaten me to leave the store or he will call the police on me .
Several customers in the store and employees watched in total disbelief and horror as they watched his violent and racist outrage.I proceeded to pay for my merchandise .Cashier Noor Jahan was very professional and courteous in checking me out.

This was an extremely emotionally disturbing and distressing, traumatic ecperience specially for my kids who do not want to go to dollar tree ever again. My six year old daughter keeps asking me, Mom why was that man yelling at us when we didnt do anything to him.

It is quite evident from customer reviews on social media sites that racial and ethenic profiling of customers is a common practice at this store location .

I would like to hear back from the district manager for this store location.
After speaking with the district manager I will decide  if I should move forward with the next steps which will include starting a petition by the racially profiled customers of this store location to remove Mahesh from this location.I will also approach the better business bureau to have this management practice of racial profiling and discriminitory business practices investigated.

I can be reached at
[protected]@gmail.com

Thanks.

Dollar Tree store # 2076 cashier complaint

I would like to file a customer complaint in reference to the horrible way in which 2 middle aged ladies were treated today by a cashier in your store # 2076 located at 4241 N Camp Wisdom Rd in Duncanville, Texas around 12:30 pm CST. These 2 ladies were at the checkout and trying to use their debit cards. Apparently they were not moving quickly enough for your cashier as they were told and I quote " you need to answer the questions on the screen and hurry up because there are other customers waiting and you are holding up the line."She did not offer to assist the ladies as they were having trouble and she continued the most rude exchange and attitude with the ladies. They were shocked and shaked our hands and apologized for holding upo the line. They apologized to the cashier and told them they were sorry and that there was no need to be rude. The cashier told them to move along and that they should leave. The ladies said that they would find out who owns the stoer and complain. The cashier told them not to bother coming back to the store and threatened the ladies. I am a retired customer service manager from AT&T and have NEVER experienced anything so deployable and disrespectful in all my life. Without customers coming into your store there would be no need for her job as a cashier. She needs to be disciplined and given some sensitivity training or at least customer service 101 skills. Everyone in the line was so uncomfortable. I am a regular customer and your Desoto Texas location and they are always so nice and helpful. I will NEVER visit this store again. Please do the right thing. Thanks, Cathy Bowie
