Dollar General

Recently the store has undergone new staging which was great but manager is not running effectively. Store has product in every isle you have to get around. Only one isle you could easily get thru today. Also there is always long line to check out. It looks so unorganized and dirty. Someone needs to give it some attention. This was nice store in years past but sure isn't now

I stood in line 10 min which was linefor 2 registers. The second register guy josh was replacing a receipt tape for first register and I inquired if other register would be up soon. He said it would be a minute so I waited where I was. In meantime a man came up when he said he was open. I was heading there and the other customer just gutted ahead. Josh did nothing even when I told both I had been in line and customer said he did not care. Josh totally ignored me and took care of the man who jumped in line who proceeded to tell netogo back north and was rude. I think Josh should have let guy know I was next as he clearly knew. This store is very unorganized all the time and the clerks are always just standing around and doing as little as possible.

The way u treat ur employees is horrendous. I live in a small town in the midwest.its like 40 below and automatic doors u have wouldnt close on the store. Your solution for your freezing employees...nothin in fact u actually had someone tell them to push doors open and closed for each customer. Im glad i dont wrk for your company. You treat ur employees like literal [censored]. I will not be shopping at any of ur stores.

I stopped by the Wilmore Dollar Store location to pick up a few groceries and an employee (dark hair, neck tattoo, 20 or so year old male) followed me around the store repeatedly harassing and calling me things such as sexy, gorgeous, etc., even though I continued to move through the store and refused to make eye contact with the employee. This was extremely offensive and and this employee should be dealt with. I have warned other women to not shop at this location.

I walked into the Dollar General at 7:10 p.m. on 1.26.19 and the sign on the freezer said 2 for $7 for Edy's ice cream. When I went to pay I had to wait for 3-5 mins and the cashier moved my money from the counter like it was a problem. Then she told me the deal did not start until tomorrow or Sunday. I said the reason I picked this kind/brand was because of the sale. She said the paper said Sunday. The fine print was very small and I do no think the signs should be posted hours before the sale (which does not take place until the next day). She was rude and had I had more time I would have asked to speak to the manager.

On facebook she calling ppl out saying better do this do that. She recently posted a picture of shopping carts out side complaining of lazy customers. I certainly do not want to come back. Talks aboutppl when they come inside making them feel uncomfortable. Takes selfies of aging at work. Rude hate ful. Will not help ppl ignores them. Has ppl call in on other employees. Very very un professional. Will talk about customers and employees while checking people out. Will complain about her budget for staffing and her having to work. Her current boyfriend is up there non stop. He's in there during closed hours dates I think she is racist also

I do not know the store number. The store is located in Columbia La on 165 next to Dukes Hardware. At 10:40 I pulled into the parking lot and not only were they already closed but all employees were gone home. This isn't the first time this has happened. They are the only store open that late and sales diapers and especially on Saturday night they should stay open until their close time.

There is a Facebook post by Haley Page that need to be check into. Two female worker in Huntingdon TN treated a man very poorly due to his race. The things that were said to him were very inappropriate. Something should be done about this kind of behavior. This is a copy of the post "My feelings are so hurt right now...people are so mean. I was at dollar general here in Huntingdon and as I was doing some shopping I heard a lady say "What the hell are you looking at? Everytime I look up you're staring at me" I didn't hear anything else. So as I went to check out I got in line behind a male Mexican. I could feel the tension in the air but I wasn't for sure what happened. As he started checking out there's two woman workers and one is sitting there staring at him and the other is checking his items out. His total was $20 so all he had was 1s and he was slowly bringing them out one by one. The lady was getting aggravated and was rolling her eyes the whole time. He only gave her $15 and gave him attitude and said "that's only $15" so he started giving her more and she aggressively took it from him. He grabs his change and starts walking out while the other lady worker was sitting there with her arms crossed and giving him a bad look and the man said "what are you looking at? She literally shewed him out the door and yelled "GO BACK TO WHERE THE WALL IS" I was beyond furious and i asked her what he did? And the girl couldn't even give me a good reason and said "he was just staring me and we've had problems since he's came in" (I was there just as long as he was and I didn't see him cause a bit of a problem!) I responded and said "well that was very harsh what you said" she said "I don't really care" I said "you didn't have to tell him to go back to the wall that was very harsh of you" her response was "I'm white, what is he?!" I straight up told both of them they will NOT be getting any more of my business that that was very uncalled for. And walked out. If I wouldn't have already paid for my stuff I would have told them to keep everything and walk out. My heart was broke and I felt so bad for him ? it's people like her that just crawl under my skin! all I could do it cry bc people are just so mean and hateful and don't care ?"

I have come into dollar general in Hoxie KS everyday and the manager Micah sits in the bathroom or in the office or the back warehouse and sits around not doing his job and hiding from customers non stop...there are 3 other employees that work hard in doing their jobs to make a better store for our town but they get put down pushed around and they don't get a thank you or a raise...I also don't understand if a manager walks out on his job in mid shift he can turn around and get his job back like it wasn't anything...I would like to know what you ppl are going to do about this bc if something doesn't happen you'll probably lose more then you want...we are the customers that keep your store going not the other way around... thank you and have a good day...
