Dillard's clinique customer service, dillard’s management

I purchased some products at Dillard's Clinique on August 30st and they were going to ship it to me for free. Today is 09/09/19 and I still didn't receive my products. When I called Clinique a week ago she said the products are getting shipped today so I was upset but thought I can wait a few more days. It's been almost two weeks and no products so I called them again on 09/09/19 and they asked for my name and my phone number so she can go check in the back if it's shipped and no one called me back. Sales associate should have at least told me that it's going to take some time to get it shipped or else I wouldn't purchase it and came back to do it in a few days. I'm upset she didn't let me know that, they charged me the same day but when are they shipping it? In a month? It's just ridiculous. I'm upset they never called me as promised. I spoke to customer service manager and she wasn't really sure what's going on. She told me I'm not in a cosmetics, I'm at the sue department on a third floor. Horrible customer service. And why the hell its taking a month to ship? Better of just buying Clinique online next time

Dillard's men’s suits

Bought a suit at Dillard's in Mall of Georgia; I was not in love with the suit but bought it. The associate pushed me to get the pants altered at the store because it would be free. I went ahead, but had to leave the suit and pants with them. After picking up the suit and taking it home I realized I hate it. Nothing on the return policy on the receipt says it cannot be returned. They refuse to let me return it or even work with me. Horrific customer service. No one said anything about this when buying the suit.

Dillard's management

Extreme fear of stealing turned in slander.
As an employee, I was chased and watched with no reason by security people who think if you are entering in fitting rooms/backstock you do something wrong. They do chase everybody even in restroom areas. I was shocked to see when some employees turned in chasers also, in order to get 500$ if you see an employee stealing. This management's fear became a crime when innocent people are treated as criminals and customers also complain about this unrealistic and extreme behavior due to a poor management who found this as a "cover" for its lack of knowing how to run a store and bring business on a daily basis.

Dillard's staff at booth

Hello,

I experienced tramatic racism from your staff at the Lacome display at the very from of Dillard. Lacome was having an event where u spin a wheel and they match your foundation. I was going to Dillards to go to my favorite Mac store. I decided to stop by Lacome because I wanted to be matched by the Lacome staff. I had just left ulta and a worker at ulta had on Lacome foundation. Unfornately, the ulta on Belle Isle didnt sell Lacome so I went to Dillards. I waited in the Lacome line and no one spoke or gave me the event details. I got tired of waiting so I went to the Mac counter where my mom ans daughter was to purchase a few liners and help my mom pick out a lipstick. After we made our purchases at Mac, my mom, daughter, and I stood in the Lacome line again. We waited for a long time while everyone act too busy to tell us about the event. Finally, a guy came over with an accent. He told us that the event was appointment only. My mom asked him about the wheel and he said oh...yea you can spin it. He spinned the wheel and told her she could gwt a free mascara. At the same time, 3 ladies white ladies with blonde hair walked by and a lacome employee with blonde hair quickly approach them to assist. The lady asked them how she could help them and they said they would like to be matched and the lady took them immediately to a chair to be matched. RACISM AT ITS FINEST!

Dillard's unacceptable customer services and return policy.

We bought a few pair of shoes for my mom on 05/05/19 at Dillard's at the Northeast Mall. One pair did not come with a box. We asked the sales clerk if the shoes were returnable and the sale clerk said that as long as we had the tag at the bottom of the shoes, we would be able to return them.

Today on Mother's Day, we went to Dillard's to return the shoes that did not have a box since my mother did not like them. When we said we wanted to return the shoes, the sale clerk immediately told us she could not take back the shoes because it did not come with the box. We told them that it did not come with the box when we bought them. The sale clerk resisted taking back by saying it is their policy. This policy was not mentioned when we bought the shoes. She called the manager to see if they could take back the shoes. The manager, Christine/Kristine (did not see her name tag. Some name spell like that), rejected. We requested to the manager in person. We waited 10 minutes for the manager to arrive and once she did, she immediately stated the policy and constantly repeated the policy which was not conveyed to us at the moment we bought the shoes. We had to remind her that we were not told about the policy and that if the shoes did not have a box they were final sales. Again, we were not told about the policy and we did ask them if the shoes were final sales at the moment we purchased the shoes! The manager also told us that it is the norm that no one would sell any merchandises without the box. She listed out perfume, cosmetics, watches, etc... and the list went on. I agreed with her that I have never bought or seen any department store or retail stores that sell merchandise without boxes, especially perfume and cosmetics (because the manager kept referencing only perfume and cosmetics). However, Dillard's does sell merchandise without boxes and my mom's shoes are an example! How can she say that it is the norm to a customer when you sold these shoes without a box to us! Her words were totally contradicting with our situation! After five minutes of talking, she left us saying that it was the policy and no further discussion was necessary! It was frustrating to all of us who just wanted to get our mom a gift for her Mother's Day.

Thanks Dillard's for a poor customer service and untrained staff that didn't know company policy that ruined our Mother's Day! I will let all my friends and family who have always liked Dillard's to not shop here because the staff is not helpful and did not even want to hear anything! What happened at Dillard's was a horrible experience for us and it is extremely disappointing how this situation could have been avoided if the sales clerk informed us of the policy at the time of purchase. This is something that no one should experience while shopping at a high-end department store.

We have attached pictures of the shoes and the receipt. The rest of the receipt is not disclosed because it has our credit card's information. The shoes are brand new because my mom has not worn them yet. The tag that is required for return is still there untouched! We all hate that shoes now and my mom will not wear them because they remind us of horrible experience we have at Dillard's and how unprofessional the staff are at the Northeast Mall. They were unwilling to solve the issue and unhelpful.

Bye Dillard's! Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus are really good and even better so why even bother come back to you, Dillard's!

Dillard's men's department

On 4/25/2019 I was at that store shopping and being helped by an employee. Another employee ( I believe her name was Redell or something like that) came to the us and offered to help me. I told her that I am being helped already (as if she couldn't see) and thanked her for the offer. The rude employee stood there insisting on helping me while I and the employee who was helping me asked her to stop and leave. She would not. I asked the other employee what was her problem. She said that she has been reported for doing that but does not stop. I asked who the manager was and I was told a Michael and that he was aware of it. He was not available at that time. But, if Michael is aware of the employee's problem and is not telling her to stop or she'll be fired, then Michael needs to be fired. I found that employee's (Redell's) behavior a sign of disrespect to the employee who was helping me and disrespect to me who told her I was being helped already. I am surprised that she is getting away with this behavior. She must not have any respect for the management either, or somehow the management or Michael he supervisor is indebted to her. Very poor.

Dillard's employee was rude

I received a VIP pass for December 2, 2018 from an employee at the Dillard's store in Lubbock Texas. As this was my first time, I asked several of my friends what they normally wear to these types of events and was told everyday wear. I wore my nice jeans, nice boots and a Christmas themed t-shirt and saw most of the others in attendance wore similar clothing. I was excited to do some Christmas shopping. A employee's comment was overheard by a friend of mine and relayed to me. He stated that I looked "homely" and why was I there. I left without buying anything as I was embarrassed by what was said. I've been told since then that it was the Dock Manager who made the comment. An employee making comments like this would be bad enough, but a person in a leadership position should set a better example than this. I work in an industry with many people who shop at Dillard's as do my friends and family. Just because I may not be young and petite doesn't mean that I shouldn't be treated with respect.

Dillard's unprofessional sales associate

Me and my friend went to Dillards to buy a few Polo shirts. My friend had about 4 or 5 Polo shirts and as we were walking to the Levi section to buy a few cargos a sales associate screamed from a distance from another department and asked if we were ready to check out and walked up and snatched the shirts out his hands. Looking surprised he said yes and we were uncomfortable as we did not want to shop here anymore. She made it seem like we were about to steal the shirts and made us check out when we were not done shopping. This was at dillards in Webster Tx at BayBrook mall.

Dillard's Being followed around

2 years ago, I went to the Governor's Square Mall in Clarksville, Tn. I went to Victoria Secret, and came out with one bag. Then I decided to go to Dillard's. So, I looked around at the shoes for a minute, then walked down to were they had the Vera Bradley collection. As I'm just looking at the different options the lady that works in that area kept following me, even after I told her that I didn't need any help. I was going to buy this wallet, however I changed my mind and put it back. I then proceeded to head out of Dillard's, and next thing I know the lady that was following me in the store, comes running after me! I was sooooooooo embarrassed, she was like let me check your bag, I was like why? She then says I need that wallet back. I said I don't have the wallet, and I put it back. I let her check my bag, then when she realized that it wasn't in there, she just walked away. Didn't even apologize! I was pissed! And for one the alarm didn't even go off! I cooled down then asked to speak to the manger, and I explained to him what happened, he was very apologetic and then he gave me a $75 gift card.

Dillard's misrepresentation of size

In august 2018 my husband and I traveled 200 miles to our closest dillard's store. He bought 4 pairs of khaki pants (that fit perfectly). After arriving back home, he decided to order 5 more pair of different colors, online - because they fit so well. We ordered the same style number and the same length, etc. The pants arrived. I washed them and discarded all tags and receipts. After all - they are the same style number and size of the ones he wears from the store. They should fit exactly the same. Right? Yesterday, he tried on a pair he ordered online. They are not the same length as the originals from the store (even though the tag says they are the correct length). I'm told that "unfortunately" they can do nothing for us because we didn't save the tags and receipts. Do I want to buy more khaki pants? Yes! Will i? No!

Dillard's sales reps and security guard

On 10/3/2018 I went into the Dillard's store in College Station, Texas to find a white dress for a program we are having at our church. I am a constant shopper and I go into all the stores a lot but each time I go into the store I am followed as if I am stealing or trying to steal. I have bought many things from Dillard's and to be humiliated each time is unjustified. They was actually calling each department to tell them to watch me and the security guard would basically follow me in the store but on yesterday I bought the dress and I had to tell the lady that I bought the dress from that she can tell them that they do not have to call her and tell her to watch me. I am a disabled veteran and I respect the values of serving my country and I do NOT steal. I did tell 2 Asian ladies that they could stop watching me that I purchase what I want and I told the security guard as well while I held up my bag that I don't have to steal I can afford to buy what I want. I will NEVER EVER purchase from your corporation again and I will be returning the product I bought. I take my mom to the mall to walk because she's 75 years old and while she walks I shop. I have never ever been so humiliated in my life.

I forgot to mention that 2 weeks prior to this I was shopping as well and all the sales reps was watching me again. I was talking to one of the sales reps who said she was a manager and the phone rang and when she hung up she told me that they told her watch your friend because she's trying to steal. She told me I am not worried about you stealing because you come here all the time and purchase something. She apologized for her coworkers and told me to continue to shop. I told her how can I feel comfortable in here with everyone eyes glued on me. So I proceeded to shop and the little old security guard kept following me. I turned to him and said please stop following me because I don't have to steal. He turned and went the other way. After that I did not go into the store for 2 weeks and when I did go back on October 3rd I got the same treatment. While they was watching me that day I say 2 females take jackets off the rack and a purse and leave with them. While I'm being honest and shopping they are missing the real thieves in the store...so sad!

Dillard's two rude sales associates in the swim area at penn square mall!!

This incident took place 9/28/2018 @ 11:00 am @ the Dillards Penn Square in Oklahoma City. I tried to return items I had bought on 9/26/2018. The women in the swimsuit area said no because they came from the bridge area 20 feet away. I had already been to that area and had found no one to make the return. I returned to bridge and still found no one. I went back to the same women and one took my items and rudely went to the cash register to return the items while interogating me why I had returned the items. I will not be returning to the Penn Square Diillards when it is easier to order online. I'm sad to say that because I believe we need place to shop in our community.

Dillard's worker accused us of stealing

I am complaining about an young woman from the Dillard's in Independence MO, zip code is 64057 at the Independece Mall. Me and my friends were dress shopping, we selected our dresses than proceeded to the dressing room and the woman told us "The rooms are full you can't go in there i literally just said they were full" so we said "okay sorry we will wait out here" when a room became available me and my friends went into the dressing room and not long after the woman came storming in saying " you are not allowed to come back here unless i say so, do you understand?" we complied and apologized for coming back into the dressing room without permission, we did not know that was a rule. Than the woman slammed the dressing room door and yelled "If you have a problem we can talk about it though" and we didn't say anything. Just began trying on our dresses, throughout the entire experience we could here her telling everyone that there are 3 girls back there and make sure they don't steal anything. I did not appreciate her rude manner or her accusing us of being thief's, we simply did not know we couldn't go into the dressing room without permission.

Dillard's employee and manager

I was trying on dresses in the young women's section at your store. The girl who got me the dressing room did proper protocol; knocked, unlocked the door, closed it behind her when she left. I locked the door and began undressing. I removed my bra so I had an idea of what the dress would look like, and my underwear on. A random female employee unlocked my door, NOT KNOCKING, opened the door wide open, looked at me and literally only said "oops". I was at my most vulnerable, had every trust that the employees were simply there to assist. She had zero common sense and entirely humiliated me and made me feel so beyond uncomfortable with those employed at this store. I asked a separate employee in a different section to please get me a manager. The manager came to me, I told her exactly what happened and she said "sounds like she just made a mistake". Then proceeded to ask in the middle or the store "so you had your bra and underwear completely off? Nothing on?" That is entirely inappropriate and irrelevant. Overhearing this, another employee said that was the second time today this had happened. The manager assured me she would go "chat" with the employee. Is that in any way making things right for me? Due to the carelessness of this employee, I am embarrassed, feel violated that someone saw me like that, and in no way feel this was made right by the manager. She gave me no respect and said "well I dont know what you want me to do." Shes a manager. I'm not there to problem solve for her. I demand that this be made right by someone who knows what they are doing. I'm devastated that this happened to not only me, but others. I did not ask this employee her name being too embarrassed, and the managers name was Becky.

Dillard's dillard

On June 14, 2016 I came to work for Dillards, I came into a business that I knew I'd be with for more than a 1yrs time. I was hired in to the home department with Kevin Cobb, the yr I was with him was the best yr I've ever had, he taught me so much, how to make online orders, to how to figure out the department and mic, to get the group code to finding out a price for a customer. Every customer was happy with Kevin and I was delighted to be his employer. As of March 2018 I was transferred to a different department, sadden to leave, I was moved to becoming the James Avery Specialist, with ASM Ana Nunez (candelario), This was a HUGE transitional changed for myself, and knew it would take some time getting used to. With that being said, here's where things began to change. Employee Sanannah Martinez was transferred with Ana Nunez from the Junior Department, while working as this Specialist for James Avery I started to notice the bond between the two (Savannah and Ana) and other coworkers who no longer work with Dillards, so their names will not be mentioned, Mrs. Nunez and Martinez would take multiple lunch breaks together, make text communications with each other, and best yet, have after work partying together at the local tyler bars. Did I mention Savannah just turned 20 on April 7Th, as the picture shows below, this is the two having drinks together and hanging out, which I didn't think ASM of Dillards were suppose to do. While my "ASM" is not only partying and making friendship with her employees she's also providing under age alcoholic beverages.in regards to all of this, there is more. My name is Leila Loyd and I was terminated as of September 7 due to social media. I was told by Walter Eadie that I was being terminated for social media, expression of how I was feeling, snap chat screen shots of bashing Dillards and employees, As God as my witness, I've never, used "Dillards" name in vein and or employees names on social media, when I asked Walter for the pictures, he said he's not going to argue with myself, that he will cross out the screen shots and snaps and this will be a term, I still can't grasp why?! If screen shotting my. Personal life outside of work and off the clock and away from the company is what my job consist of, then maybe I should have taken the time to screen shot Mrs Nunez and my employees drinking, and partying outside of work and eating lunches together on company time. Not to mention the favoritism with management hiring friends from the outside to work in their department, allowing new hires to work open to close Monday through Sunday, stealing company time and SALES. Having am ASM who repeatedly told you that your worthless to her because we just stand there and do nothing, but as this this being said, has employees that she likes, sit in her office because they didn't feel well that day, or needed to sit down. If I didn't feel like this wasn't an issue, I would address this in my own time or even take the time if I didn't feel I was wrongfully accused of something that, my former asm and employees both acted with as well. I've never been written up with Dillards or ever been a no call no show, but yet, Ana Nunez allowed her employees do so. I was told being a specialist was a good thing, no, I was wrong, it was just a name to pull myself from a department I actually worked in. With all this being said, I am a victim of discrimination, harassment, and wrongfully accused of termination. Emotionally distressed and angry with everything that goes on in tyler Dillards, if I had know that screen shots were suppose to be apart of my job duties at dillards then nobody would be an employer in that Dillards. With deep concerns for a reply, I hope I receive one, and if not, I was continue to further legally actions. Thank you

Dillard's company/rules

So, I have a few people I know who worked for Dillard's and/or still work for Dillard's in Clarksville, IN at Greentree Mall who have been fired and who are being fired due to not meeting their sph (sales per hour). I wish more people knew about how Dillard's does their employees just because they do not meet their shp (sales per hour) they fire them. These are people who have families to support that are getting fired or being told since they have not met their sph they are going to be fired. Which leaves these employees to go out and find other jobs in 2 weeks or less.

I hope people get the word out and stop going to Dillard's until they change this. Because if they do not get enough business or have to many workers working how are they suppose to make their sph. I feel bad for the families of Dillard's employees. Dillard's please change this.
