Shorted me hydrocodone. I brought to their attention and was treated rudely and basically accused of being drug user. Was told that note put in file and that medication would be double counted in future. Got new prescription today and not only shorted pills but labeled changed to show 30 rather than 40. Manager of store tried to pass off that it was a parital fill.. I am wondering about other cvs customers and just where medications end up..it appears either someone is taking pills as in cvs drug addict or cvs is profiting. I plan on taking to whoever oversees controlled substances for further review

The label will always show the number in the bottle. If it was a partial fill, then you get what they have, and the label will state the amount. You get whats left on the script when they come in.

As for acting like you are drug user, it is exactly drug users who make this practice the way it is. All pharmacies make notations in their customer profiles for double counting when a controlled substance allegedly is missing tablets.
