Conn's Home Plus Air conditioner

We purchased an air conditioner we told our sales women we wanted to do the 36 month interest free. She went to check something out and came back and told us that was find. We did paperwork, which we could not get a copy of, she said they email it to you. Later that afternoon I received it, on it, it said it was 12 months interest free. So we called they said we could return it. We were in the process of installing it. We've purchased a lot from them, but this will be the last. I PROMISE YOU!

Conn's Home Plus An expensive leather couch

I have several times attempted to use the warranty extended coverage on our expensive couch. Complained that nobody will cover a recliner piece literally falling apart. We bought the coverage with the sectional coach in 2019 during nov-dec and it is falling apart junk coach. the reclining piece will not go down and the switch is falling apart

Conn's Home Plus Delivery Issues for Washer and Dryer

There has been 3 failed delivery attempts none which have been my fault. I missed 1.5 days of work which will be unpaid all so that I could be home for these failed attempted deliveries.

First attempt: received confirmation email night prior and called to let them know that the wrong number was on file. They said they it had been changed and the driver would call that number. Day of delivery driver called the wrong number and left my house. It wasn't until the driver was at the next stop that I realized my house had been skipped when checking online. I called and they told me the number had not been updated. When I asked if he could come back after his next stop since it was in the same area they said no and rescheduled me a week later.

Second attempt: I received and email confirmation again with the wrong number, I called and asked them to make sure it was changed. The day of delivery I called an hour before scheduled time to make sure the driver had the correct number, still had the incorrect number. I was then told that the Warehouse did not have my W/D ready for transportation so it was left. I did not receive a call or email letting me know that it would not get delivered that day. I should have been contacted first thing so that I could have avoided taking off from work. They then scheduled it the following day.

Third attempt: Called the morning of and was told once again that my phone number had not been updated. My delivery was not on their schedule for the day and was actually scheduled for the end of the week. I was never called or updated about this at all.

This has all been very stressful, time consuming, and I should not have to take 2 full days off of work to be home for a delivery that was supposed to have happened over a week ago. At this point there should be no delivery charge and I should be credited towards the account for having to take 2 days of work off. I am unhappy with the service and have chosen not to refurbish my new home with the company.

Desired outcome: Reassess damages to items that may have occurred. Credit towards account and subtract delivery charge.

Conn's Home Plus Couch warrenty

purchased a couch from Conns, reclining section will not work from the day i got it home. i turned in a request for service and got a service claim number (cx1626712-21b) it has been over a week and no one has called to come out. i have called and left (3) messages for a return call and have not got a call yet. I have not paid my first payment yet and im getting VERY upset! I want this fix or i want to return the product.

Conn's Home Plus Washing machine

Washing machine was bought May 14 th was told by salesperson will be delivered May 16 th. On May 15 my mom got an automated call with thru all props about COVID. Then they stated will call back between 8 and 9 for delivery time. My mom is 80 who was waiting and puts all her trust in Conn's.

Did not receive the call so, I called Sunday morning wanting to know delivery time. Stated it was not confirmed for delivery. So, I stated we need this washing machine today stated trucks left called at 8 am was hold until 8:45 am then they answered.

Purposely did not answer then stated the soonest is Tuesday but, still cannot confirm until day before. So, I asked why not Monday schedule is full ok, but how is it possible they are confirmed before 9 am. Conn's has a flawed system and Will not try to accommodate the Elderly but, took this 80 year old money and will not deliver. Conn's name fits it Conn that is just what they are doing to this 80 year old.

We asked to speak to a manager none came to the phone and stated they would return the call. I doubt it very seriously if they return any calls.

First they should apologize for Conning an 80 year old! Secondly, they should waive that delivery fee since they have not called or tried to do right by this 80 year old! Thirdly, they need a system that works if you buy and they say they are going to deliver on the day purchased then the only could should be is delivery time. Because, you have arranged your schedule for delivery.
Fourth be a business to stand by your word and deliver. Fifth a system that works for all adults 18 to 100 who is in there sound mine and can communicate. My mom is 80 and wanted to buy a washing machine from Conn's I kept telling her no she said they always help me and friendly. Now my mom sees first hand Conn's delivery is not honest and does not have her best interest.

Still waiting for a call

Desired outcome: Conn’s need to delivery this washing machine today or tomorrow do not care the time do your JOB

Conn's Home Plus Late payments to credit bureaus

To whom it may concern. I made a payment on March 21, 2021 with a Conns respresentive threw email. The email states if I can make a payment of $150 it will forgive the last two missed payments and bring my account current till May 16, 2021. The payment was made successfully. Upon checking my credit report. I received a late payment from Conns for the month of April. After it destroyed my credit dropping me 50 points. I called Conns to talk to Somone'. They agreed it was inaccurate. And was suppose to remove it. Instead they moved the late payment from April to March. And one credit bureaus still shows both late payments for March and April. They have caused emotional stress. Now with these late payments I can't get approve to buy a house. This is my 2nd account with Conns. And have never experienced nothing heart breaking like this .

Desired outcome: Both late payments to be removed as soon as possible.

Conn's Home Plus Delivery policy

I applied and received a conns card for 4500 in credit. I needed 3 dressers. I go into conns in Lewisville Tx. I didn't want a bedroom suite just dressers. The guy showed me some that were marked down in the store, and didn't have to come from warehouse. They came to about 1000. As he was working on the order, he asked if I wanted them delivered, and I said yes how much wool it cost. He said 150. I say I live a mile and half from here. He says the truck is coming from Dallas. I didn't care where it was coming from. It's only delivering a mile and a half to my house. Then he suggested I rent a truck. Once he saw the disgust on my face he tried to backtrack. I tell him it's 4pm, I'm the only customer in the store. How many 1000 sales are you gonna get today. I walked out, and I'm canceling that card tomorrow. Not only did he try to insult my intelligence, but he thought I was a damn fool.

Desired outcome: Not looking for an outcome. I’m canceling the card and will never set foot in another conns

Conn's Home Plus Customer Service & Payments

After multiple purchases Conns never sent an updated payment book and also canceled my online access for the correct account. I would pay by going to the store and paying what they said to. Suddenly 2 weeks after a payment of $80 was made I received a phone call that I owe nearly $600 they hadn't received full payment in 2 months. Being my husband paid he gave my info paid what was advised, I should not be 100% responsible for their mistake. They have reported to all 3 credit bureaus dropping my score. And will be reporting again unless I pay the entire $600 in one payment. No investigation. My fathers account gets pulled with my phone number yet my payments aren't there, fed up! Eat the missing payments get me my payment book and account access for all purchases and this will not be an issue.

Desired outcome: Non collected payments be written off

Conn's Home Plus Defective refrigerator

On 31 March, I purchased a GE refrigerator for 3700.00. Delivered 3 April @ 1:45 pm. Installers left @ 2:15 pm. with instructions to drain first 2 gallons of water, and dump first 2 buckets of ice. Upon draining water noticed water leaking from inside door. Called back within 30 min. of installer departure to inform of issue, was told I would get a call back btwn 24-48 hours. Called back on 5 April, advised I had not been called back, was told they would advise warehouse of issue, and should get call back btwn 48-72 hours. due to holiday weekend. Called back today 6 April, to inform of no call back. I Advised this is a time sensitive issue, due to meds. needing refrigeration. was told warehouse will contact me tomorrow for inspection. I advised Corrina (person who took call) that ice maker did not produce 2nd bucket of ice, only splash of water, when tried to dispense ice though door. I am very unsatisfied with customer service response to message relay to upper management, or service personnel. I have never experienced this kind of lack of response to issues relating to a complaint. I paid for a NEW refrigerator, that should not require repairs after delivery, especially 30 min. after delivery. Requested exchange or return Item, only to be advised I would be charged a 15% restock fee. Why should I have to pay for a stock fee when Item did not function properly to begin with. As far as contracts go, I was not able to read contract due to the way you all do business with i-pad. Such information as restock fee should be mentioned by salesperson, though one would not expect to return item as a NEW item should not have any issues to begin with. IF I am not issued a replacement of new refrigerator, not refurbished or repaired, I will return item, and dispute restock fee, since it is no fault of my own. Respectfully, FRANK G. VASQUEZ

Have had a service man out 3 times done as the 1st man said changed hoses and evened it up still didn't work 2nd man came out said nothing wrong didn't look put water in to see why it wouldn't drain. Conn's Home Plus Customer/Service and Recovery

I have settled on my account. I paid it. I am trying to get something showing that the account was settled and 0 balance. The frustration to get this is information is terrible. I worked with the 3rd party paid it that day. They fowarded everything to Conn's the same week. Now almost 2 weeks later Conn's cannot get me anything that says my balance is zero and settled on letter heard. Not 20-30 days later. The rep i spoke with said that it shows zero balance. I spoke with a manager in the recovery and she will not help. Her name is Sarah and #29182. I have tried numerous time to get this information. I need help.

Desired outcome: I need something from this company in letterhead or something either emailed to me at [protected]@yahoo.com or call me.

Conn's Home Plus Service and customers services

My name is Silas Coelho and my phone # is [protected]. About 8 months ago I purchased about $4000.00 in appliances at your store in Aurora, CO. The service at store level was great. A month ago my fridge started linking water, and when I saw that I called maintennance to place a service call. took me 40 minutes and 8 different people to get a technician to come to my house. I decided to shut down the water myself, but was to late, the damage on my wood floor was so bad that the water was linking thru my ceiling basement. I called again to report a claim and believe or not after more than an hour, not one knows what department to transfer me. Finally, a name name Alisha answer the phone and after I explain to Her what was going, Her answer in a very rude way was" someone will call you back in 2 days. This was almost 3 weeks ago and no one call me yet, and my fridge still not fixed. The water damage is about $3.000.00. Can someone please call me or give me the CEO number.

Conn's Home Plus financing

on 12/26/2018 i purchased a tv full purchase price was 8752.47. i opted for 1 year no interest and paid as requested until final payment was made on 12/9/2019. I received a copy of the contract marked "completed" on 12/19/2019. Never received an invoice a call nothing until December of 2020 a collection company called and wanted $1609 for the tv purchase. I gave them the details and they agreed to straighten it out. Next i went to charge something on one of my credit cards and it was turned down my credit limit had been cut in half. I asked why. They said experion said i was late on some payments. I work so hard to keep my credit rating high. I never pay anything late. I frequently purchase items 12 month, 36 month etc same as case and found it easy to get things i need sooner rather than later. Then i called and someone explained i had agreed to pay $141 in insurance. and the rest is history. Is this the mark of a credible company with good credit practices? I'm so upset. I need a dishwasher and a microwave in the next month and would like to shop conns again but with this going on i simply don't trust conns. Conn's Home Plus Late fees assessed during a pandemic!

I have been a customer for a few years now and I was just told today by a representative that over the last year 2020-2021, I have accumulated $168 in late fees! Now normally I would be okay with because I was working full-time before the pandemic hit. But now (I am a substitute teacher) and when schools shut down, I had no Regular income coming in. My husband, who works for himself and must travel to do so, was stationed at home too without regular income each month as well.

My feeling is this: how could you charge late fees on good people just trying to stay afloat during a tough time? I was paying you right when I could! My $168 in late fees equals a monthly payment! This is not right! I am asking that these fees be waived considering our global pandemic and that you adjust my outstanding bill owed.

Please let me know your consideration in this matter.

Desired outcome: Late fees reversed and credited to my account.

Conn's Home Plus Playstation 4 warranty issues

I bought over $3, 000.00 worth of stuff from Conns, including A PS4 bundle WITH warranty... now the game already has problems & the store I got it from told me warranty or no warranty they were not fixing those anymore!
And I had dropped it off 4 days before getting the call telling me this. They took my money for the warranty & all my other things (that I have A perfect on time payment report with)
And then they tell me "sorry we can't fix it, warranty has nothing to do with it"! I see why they have been sued in the past! They are crooked & will say anything to sell you JUNK!

Desired outcome: Return item with no credit penalty or upgrade to PS5 bundle for same price & standing as the PS4
