McDonald's - substitutions

So recently, McDonalds introduced yogurt into their Happy Meals. Alright, had no problem with this. It's good to offer a nutritous substitute to fries, after all. Now, I have a small appetite, so I normally get a Happy meal, rather than the adult-sized equivalent. I'm also lactose intolerant (and not the 'I get gas in four hours' kind, the 'I vomit as soon...

McDonald's religious cult

Mcdonalds is now a religous cult! This is the third mcdonalds I have been to where the employees "bless you", and they even have it on the reciepts!

How dare they! What right do they have to think it is their job to interfere with my religous beliefs or my personal spiritual life?! This is insolent, rude, invasive, highly inappropriate, and extremely unprofessional!

It is not thier job to be spouting any kind of religous crap to me, much less blessing me or my day!
I will not tolerate a fry jockey posing as my religous overseer!

I will never set foot in any mcdonalds cult establishment ever again!

Burger king now gets all of my business!

I agree with the poster, its not ANY business of ANY kind of business to be preaching anything religious to thier customers. Its their business to sell food, NOTHING ELSE. Its a flagrant violation of customer rights to be subjected to such crap.

I for one NEVER do business with any company or business who spouts any kind of intolerant garbage, along with thinking they have the right to preach religion!

And for the ### Potompub@aol.com, exactly HOW do you tell someone is gay? What the hell business is it of yours what anybody does in thier personal life? This just goes to show you how these religious people are nothing but bigots, racists, and hate-mongers. They will lie, cheat, and steal you blind, then stab you in the back! But they LOOOVE to flaunt thier stupidty and ignorance at every chance they get!

If these people want to practice religion, then they need to go into the ministry or whatever cult they are interested in. They have no business harassing customers with thier treachery.

Yes, and it's typically followed by everyone in the room responding "Bless you"... I also hope the original poster realizes that a lot of McDonald's are franchised out. Due to private ownership they have the same menu items, but not necessarily the same prices or policies. Maybe it's a personal policy? Not sure, but just a thought.

McDonald's complaint on company

I called mcdonalds to check on a application that I had put in there because they are hiring ok when I called the manager told me to call back later so I called back like the manager had instructed me to do and a employee picked up the phone and I asked to talk to a manager the employee lied and told me there was not a manager there at the time it was if the employee was doing something or talking to some one else so I was thing maybe the employee did not hear me right so I asked again for the manager and the employee said again that the manager is not in so I said do you know when the manager will be back and the employee was like talking to some one else and than the employee said that the manager did not want to get on the phone I feel like if you are going to run a company you should be a professional person so I do not know who to make a complaint about the manager or the company that hired the manager

Worse place I have ever worked. They where not understanding about my health issues. They expected me to do more then anyone else, that caused me to get sick even worse. Managers yelled and belittled there workers. They even asked me why I was even worked there if I had these health issues. That I was no different then anyone else.Except I had doctors notes telling them my issues and that they need to comply. Did they? Nope! They just made things worse on me.Thanx McDonalds for understanding and having a heart. Not lovin it! Not Lovin it at all! 1a04068

Lol, bounced by a Macca's manager. Start my taking caps lock off. If your yelling in real life too maybe thats your problem? As for who to make a complaint too...you rang McDonalds right? A fast food chain. Take note of the word chain. That suggests they probably have a regional base and even a national base. You could complain to either. But before you did that I'd try call back, maybe try a non peak time. Though your probably in America so no time is non peak for you Americans to be eating fast food or complaining.

McDonald's very bad service and shameless working staff at the mcdonald, s restaurant

Hi,
I have had very bad experiences at the mcdonald's .I stay in bangalore. This complaint is regarding the branch of
mcdonald's in banashankari 2nd stage, opposite BDA complex which opened somewhere in mid 2011.
I ordered a medium mcchicken meal and asked for thumps up instead of coke. The dirty minded people
at the restaurant gave me a regular meal with coke. One more instance is that when i asked one girl (working staff) to give me some tissue papers, she replied saying that "papers are there you can go and collect them".
I have never ever seen such dirty working staff in my whole life anywhere. I think mcdonald guys dont care for customer satisfaction.

McDonald's undercooked food & rude employee

I bought a mighty kids meal with chicken nuggets for my 6 yr. old daughter on 5/31/12 @ 8:35 p.m. As she was eating her nugget she asked me if I bought her fish nuggets because they tasted like fish or something. So my friend tasted one and told me that it seemed like they were undercooked. So I checked them out and sure enough they were squishy, slightly pink and a little raw. I called the McDonalds Manager, Monica Robledo who took my personal information and asked me if I wanted them replaced or anything for the inconvenience. I told her my daughter wanted her chicken nuggets so I was going to take them back and get them replaced with some cooked nuggets for her and she said OK. I arrived and a cashier asked if she could help me and so I approached her and told her that I spoke to the Manager Monica about the undercooked nuggets and so I gave them to her and she hands them to the Manager who was right behind her in the food line and the cashier tells her its the nugget lady and the Manager asked for a new box of nuggets and hands it back to the cashier to give to me. As the cashier gives me the new box of nuggets, I asked her if she checked that they were fully cooked and so I opened one and told her yes, they are cooked and as I am walking away the cashier tells me "Okay and don't come back again.." and as my head twisted immediately to her she says "just kidding"...and I told her "if my daughter gets sick over this, you bet I will be back". My husband was sitting at a booth watching TV and I went to tell him and never did the manager or the employee come apologize for the remark. I am very upset that the manager did not handle this and instead had me deal with the cashier. I am also upset that she allowed the cashier to make a rude comment to me when I think I had every right to bring back some uncooked chicken nuggets. At no time did the manager approach me to apologize for the inconvenience, she simply gave them to the cashier to give to me. I felt that they thought "okay go ahead and complain...now what do you want", but I know undercooked food can be very dangerous so I wanted to make sure they knew that and saw it so it wasn't just a complaint. I was ready to show it to the Manager but she never approached me, she just grabbed it from the cashier and put it down and gave me a new one. I also think that the employee had no right to make that comment to me when I am a paying customer and have every right to complain about the undercooked food. Then I tried calling the McDonalds 888# for concerns or compliments and it sends you straight to a voice mail only.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! This manager didn't follow corporation rules. Iv worked for McDonald's for about 3years and I won't ever eat at one again! I could write a book of all the disgusting things that go on behind the counter. If you do decide to eat there or any other fast food restaurants please pull forward check your bag for the right food and specifications. Always keep your receipt. I know that it isn't your job to do this, but it will make it easier for you in the long run. Most times there is two phone numbers on the receipt. One is for the corporations number and one goes to the restaurant . I would call corporation and tell them of the incident. They will send you a gift card that you can use at any McDonald's so you don't have to go back to the same one.

McDonald's food being wrong/not fresh/slow service

I have been giving mcdonalds way to many chances to get my food right...most the time it is not fresh or it is very cold and just is very disapointing...also when i go back up and have them fix it they take for ever to get the food out to me and its very disapointing and upseting i should not have to wait forever to get my food when so many others after me have gotton there food and left be for i ever get mine...they are extreamly slow and fast food should live up to its name fast food not slow service...cant stand to stand in line and get ignored by the workers suposed to be taking orders they had 2 lines and the line i was in when it was my time to order the lady walked away and did not come back for a good while and in the other line people that came in after i did had already got there food and waas eating...also when they dont leave pepper out to get for the ketchup its very inconvient cause it makes more time to have to go up there and wait and wait and wait to ask for some and when they give it to me they only give one or 2 small pakets soooo not enough at all for a large fries i ordered so me having to keep asking and asking for more made my food cold and made me extreamly mad and if they dont satisify me with giving me pepper and a good amount i will start bringing my own from out of the store...if all this dont get fixed in every single mcdonalds it will start losing business from me and everyone in my family and friends and everyone else i talk to i will make you all look very bad and make people not want to go eat there...and so far this is mainly in jacksonville nc or close to there...get it together people seriously...

McDonald's laziness from mcdonald's rude employees

On Sunday, January 8th, 2012, I went into Radioshack in Houston, Texas, across from Mcdonalds to purchase DVD-r disc but I had questions. When I walked in, I saw 3 employees standing around in conversation and another in normal clothes sitting on the counter. When I asked for assistance, one of the employees, , came over and gave me complete attitude for interrupting the conversation she was having with her friends. She constantly rushed me and once I asked her the question, she went over to another employee and said “he needs your help, ” basically brushing me off.

I stood there for another 3 minutes waiting but they went back to their conversations, so I decided to purchase something else and when I got to the register, she snatched my item from my hands and completely lacked courtesy. I’ve been an consumer of Radioshack for some years and never will I again step foot in that particular one unless some disciplinary actions are made to correct the incompetence apparently abrupt there.

Please I need somebody help me with this, I was working at this McDonald and I just got fired because I got sick… This is stupid, I can’t understand what’s going on with people, …… Well I went to the doctor and the doctor told to the nurse that call my job (McDonald) because I wasn’t able to work, and when she called the supervisor told to the nurse that if I was not there in 15 minutes I will lose my job. Now I want somebody to explain this to me how you can get fired because you got sick, just wanna say I will take this seriously because we are not slaves, , , , we live in United States of America a free country … If I gotta talk to the congress or the white house I will …..

McDonald's mcdonald's water tasted bad with chlorine

Mcdonalds head office: it was a fine day when my girlfriend and I decided to have breakfast in a nearest mcdonald’s branch. We ordered the usual breakfast meal and eat while having conversation. It was my first time to eat in that particular mcdonald’s branch. After having meal there was some hint taste of coffee in my mouth and got thirsty to ask for water in a cup over the counter. Mcdonald’s provides a clear cup of water with ice and for being thirsty, water was quickly drunk. The water tasted and felt different as anyone would swallow, as substance pass through the throat, it felt hot with a strong scent of chlorine followed with an awful bitter taste.

Most customers reacted on how the water tasted and quoted similar detailed words, also, unhappy on how the situation was handled from mcdonald’s point of view. It was the first and would be my last to eat at mcdonald’s who serves water with sanitizer and change my impression and experience as a customer.
I was traumatized for what had happened. I would do whatever it takes to encourage my relatives and friends not to try mcdonalds that serves toxic chlorinated water. Hence, the owner wanted to pacify the situation by meeting in a mall restaurant, owner was not sincere in being apologetic. Instead, he was rude and displayed words of alligations in a raising voice.

We kept coordinating and assured us movement on the case. Year is already 2012, untill now we had never recieve any update as promised, and have decided to elevate my complain by escalating the matter to mcdonalds international.

Mcdonald’s had always been my most favorite fast food since I was young. It saddens me personally to know that mcdonalds a renowned reputation, are being wreck by a mere branch in the philippines, because of the substandard service and sanitation control. We hope to resolve this issue and have proper closure between two parties as coordinated to mcdonalds head office to handling the situation accordingly.

McDonald's higher pricing then other mcdonalds*

I would like to complain regarding McDonalds Mutiara Damansara Drive-Thru.

In the drive-thru:-
I ordered 2 Horlicks McFlurry and paid MYR10.60.
When I wanted to collect, I was given a wrong order of 2 Oreo McFlurry and wanted to change it to my right order.
McDonalds staff demanded I Pay an additional MYR1 for the Horlicks McFlurry.
I did not want to pay and wanted a refund but they did not refund me.
So I am out RM10.60 and no Horlicks McFlurry.

I then proceeded to Mcdonalds drive-thru Centrepoint, Bandar Utama and Ordered 2 Horlicks McFlurry and only paid MYR 9.55 for it.

This brings up the question:-
Why is Mcdonalds Drive-thru Mutiara Damansara prices are higher for the Horlicks McFlurry (because I paid MYR10.60 vs. MYR9.[protected]@Centrepoint Bandar Utama) and also was demanded to pay an additional MYR1.

McDonald's over charged

I stopped by the McDonalds at 1501 Keowee St Dayton Ohio as I do a couple times a week for breakfast on the way to work. I ordered off the dollar menu as I normally do. Ordering a Sausage McMuffin no Egg the lady that took the order(Which as with every morning I stop in is very friendly) told me as normal my order was a dollar. I pulled to the window and paid with a ten dollar bill and was given change. I pulled to the next window and realized that I had only received $6 and some change. I just figured an honest mistakeand I looked at the receipt and was charged for Oatmeal(another honest mistake) I spoke with the woman at the next window and told her the problem and she took the receipt and change and made a correction bringing me back another amount. After looking I now had $7 and some change. I told her that what I had ordered was off the dollar menu and she said she wasnt sure and checked with another person that I assume was a manager and she said no that it wasnt on the dollar menu. I tried telling them that I had just stopped in on Thursday and purchased the same thing and was only charged one dollar. She said they must not have charged me right. Needing to get to work I decided to leave and called to speak to the manager after I got to work. I tried explaing what had happened and she tried telling me that I had not ordered what I had said I did. I order the same thing every morning. Only changing with maybe ordering a hashbrown to go along with my order.
Below is the only response that I received about being over charged

McDonald's my fifth complaint different company

Everytime I go to McDonalds, nothing is ever right. My food order is always wrong, the employees are rude, the service is slow. The fries are never fresh, I always have to ask for fresh fries, and they make me wait for them. Where do you find these people, McDonalds? Certainly you can find people with at least a 2nd grade education to work here. I really just cannot believe that McDonalds is even still in business. My word! :(

Worst of all, you even try to complain about the service they are ready to call the cops on you.

I tried to complain. Since my husband works at Walmart Home office and that usually gets people to treat me better I told them that my husband works closely with the CEO of Mcdonalds. This is when they told me to leave I was blocking the drive thru. I refused and they refused to listen to my complaint because I was using profanity.(I know this was wrong but I was angry at the world.) They threatened to call the police on me even though I claimed my husband worked close to the CEO.

Who cares if your husband works close to the CEO of McDonald's? You really expect throwing that out there will give you VIP treatment? No one cares. Maybe if you acted like an adult and didn't make a fool of yourself by swearing at the workers and blocking the drive-thru, inconveniencing others, they would have taken your complaint more seriously.

McDonald's pricing

I like to know how they can charge me full price for a sweet tea ($1.69) when they have it on the meneu for $1.00 and advertise it on t. V. For a $1.00. I went into this today, ordered a saugage egg mcmuffin meal, with another saugage egg mcmuffin, I don't drink coffee or tea so I order a soda or sweet tea or juice. When I seen that charged me $1.69 for the sweet tea, I inquired why and told me that I order a meal, I get charged full price for the ice tea, that doesn't make sense, you would think since i'm buying the meal and the another sanwich, it would be cheaper, no it's more expensive. Let me tell you that nowhere in any mcdonalds does it say that if buy a breakfest meal that you're going to be charged full price for the sweet tea, it on the menu board for $1.00. The meal I had today was the worst meal I had in a long time. I go to mcdonalds quite abit, the englist where not even toasted good

McDonald's workplace harassment

I started working at the McDonald's in Ames, Iowa on Lincoln Way in January of last year. While I was there I ran into some very unprofessional people and a few months later felt that I was working in a hostile work environment. The manager there constantly made facebook statuses about "slapping a ###" and "don't mess with me" etc which were all targeted at me. She spread gossip and rumors about at work so others would look down on me and is a pathological liar and very aggressive. During the summer things only became worse.Another manager knew what was going on and was worried for my well-being. She offered to help me fill out harassment paperwork but I chose not to knowing that the manager who was doing the harassing would find out and things would escalate even further. At one point another coworker one day warned me when I clock out just to go straight to my car in fear that she would go after me. A few days later I was in another restaurant, as I walked out she had parked beside my car and threatened to "beat my face in" if I ever glared or smirked at her again. She also told me I was worthless, my boyfriend didn't want me, that I was a ###, and so forth. She also told me to go cry to my parents because she was going to send her own parents after me. I turned in my two week notice the day after with no job security because I was afraid of what might happen if I stayed. I told a manager who was above her what had happened. She only replied, "that sounds extreme, but I'm sorry that HAD to happen to you."

McDonald's fly in my milkshake

On drinking my milkshake, I couldn't get the last bit out so took my top off to get to it, and saw something black inside on closer inspection discovered it was a fly, I then took it to the serving point to show the manager, who told me it had just gone in there, to which I replied no it wasn't as I had only just opened the lid on it, to which he replied he would give me a fresh one, which as you can understand I refused the offer as I was feeling physically sick, he then offered me a voucher which I refused as his whole attitude was not how this could of happened or how he would deal with the problem, but it had just gone in there, if that was the case I would of gone up before finishing my drink in the first place, I have been there many occasions over the last few months and have had no problems, but I will probably not be going back to a mcdonalds outlet again in the near future as this was not dealt with properly and also made me physically sick after discovering a fly in there and will find it hard to accept not all outlets are the same.

McDonald's they are selling products for the wrong price

I went to McDonald subang parade last Sunday to have my fish filet burger. Fish filet has been my favorite burger for a long time and I even had it for breakfast sometimes. One thing about me is before I start to eat my burger, I will make sure the meat, cheese and breads are arranged properly. All the times, I have been doing that and all the times I am very happy and delighted to see a full piece of meat, a full piece of cheese and of course the breads.

But on last Sunday, I was surprised that the cheese IS NOT EVEN HALF PIECE SIZE on my burger. But it didn’t cross my mind at all to make any efforts for a complaint, as I thought that it happens sometimes. And I happily finished my meal on that day. And I have been sharing this news to my friends and they told me that I should make a consumer complaint.

But today I wrote to you not to make a complaint but I wanted to share with you how i have felt and suggested the principal to checked all McDonald’s outlets whether they are genuinely selling the products for the right price? It might be true that this outlet has been selling to customer with only half a cheese all this while?

Perhaps you should do a spot check to ensure that they don’t cheat your loyal customers. And perhaps too, that everyone reading this, should make the efforts to check that they don’t get cheated.

McDonald's very disappointed about slow drive thru

I run a daycare as I drove to your McDonald 4514 Telegraph avenue Sept. 9, 2011 with a van full of hungry children. The drive thru was closed. Yes, I undestand the truck has to unload and supply food however he/she should park else where. I sat 30min. Waiting and observing hoping it would open. I have 20 children which I wanted to feed while on our adventure to our field trip ages 1-5 I didnt want to take them out to much work just eat on the run. We do this on Friday’s.

As, I waited and began typing this on my laptop truck still there business was extremely be lost. At least 40 or more cars left. The lady next to me couldnt get out she was an older lady need an orange juice diabetic sugar low. I offered her a piece of candy and fruit I had. I couldnt go in for her I had the children which werent mind. I called several times to ask when will the drive in be opened no answer. So just a bit disapointed.
