LG Electronics lg refrigerator

I am at my wit's end about this frig. First we almost had a fire in the frig with the lights. That's been replaced but then the shelving unit in the refrigerator part snapped in the middle where the drawer meets. We bought replacement parts, and I replaced them. Now they have snapped again in the same weak spot. We have not been negligent and placed heavy or too much produce in these drawers, because of the previous experience. I am awaiting your decision on this flawed, poorly designed product. I know someone else that had the same issues that we have had with your product. I would like timely and equitable support with regards to this product. It is less that ten years old. I have never had such poor service from any previous owned refrigerator. I've had frig's that were 50 years old and still working. May I suggest a new design team be hired with respect to future refrigerator designs, and possibly replace these defective frigs.

LG Electronics oled55b6p television; sh5b soundbar

I purchased a new TV in late October along with a new sound bar. Initially I hooked up the TV to my old sound bar and it worked fine. Got up one morning and the sound bar had quit. I replaced it with the new LG unit and it did not work. Both sound bars would work on the optical feed but the HDMI output/input was dead.

Tech has been here several times, last time determining, with concurrent consultation with someone in I believe Atlanta. They decided the sound bar was defective and told me to take it back to the vendor and exchange it for another model as the one I have has been troublesome. I was told I'd be contacted by LG to arrange the exchange paperwork authorization for the vendor. I had to call LG, they had not done anything about the exchange authorization. I found out that the vendor only had one of the units I was supposed to exchange mine for, so I put a deposit on it and informed the vendor that an exchange authorization from LG would be forthcoming; it wasn't.

Now over the last several weeks I've been moved from one department to another and even different people in a department. I was informed today that LG cannot execute and exchange for the vendor. I would have to ship this unit back and "when they verified the serial number and fault" they'd "order a new one from the warehouse".

Yeah right. I spent nearly $3000.00 for this TV and sound bar and it doesn't work. After being lied to so many times about what was going to happen and complying with the people in the second service call request, I made arrangements to exchange the unit with the vendor and put down the deposit since it was the only one in their entire store/system inventory. I did not like that much but since the LG service folks, and the person I talked to on the phone at LG initially said that I would be exchanging the unit at the vendor for another model which cost more but I would not be charged the difference.

That never happened and after numerous calls, I was told this morning it would not happen.

LG Electronics smartphone

i was updating my cell phone H790BK (16G) and it shut down and never restarted again. My RA# it A016CG55364 was still under warranty. I sent the phone to the address was given with a prepaid lebel and was received by LG on 12/9/16. I received an e-mail that it will be back to you between 5-7 business days. i waited and no communication from LG. I called after 2 weeks to the customer service and they told me parts will take longtime to arrive, so they offer me an upgrade to LG G5. after that again no communication. today is 1/9/17 more than a month, no communication from LG. till today I did not receive any phone and no communication. I called and spoke to customer service and asked him to speak to the supervisor and he told me sorry and that is about it. may be by next week you get the phone. This is the poorest service I have ever received from a provider like LG. I will never buy any phone build by LG. no good answer and no compensation for the poorest service.

Sushil, i had the same exact issue and sent the phone to them on 12/14/2016. Their support desk is filled with a bunch of lying incompetent agents who will not pass the info to anyone. They finally sent me an lg g5 on january 18th, but it did not have a batter or a charger and it is clear that it is a refurbished unit. I called them on the 18th and after being on the phone with the incompetent agent, i was told that they will ship battery and charger and call back on 23rd. On 23rd i called them, after being on hold for 30 minutes, i was told they are still processing the order. I called today and they are still processing the order.In the meantime, i had to go a purchase another phone - - a samsung s7 - - for $700 while waiting for these guys to do the right thing.

They are a bunch of incompetent thieves. I will never buy another lg equipment. I have been looking to see if there is any class action lawsuit that i can join for they way they misrepresent their warranty.

Folks reading this note - - do not buy lg. They are absolute nightmare.

LG Electronics never received rebates

I purchased a 4 piece kitchen appliance set from HH Gregg in late August of 2016 that came with a $400.00 rebate from LG. I filed the appropriate paperwork and submitted for the rebate within 2 weeks of my purchase and as of January 9, 2017, I have yet to receive the rebate. I have called the LG Rebate Submission department with promises that the VISA cards would be going out within the week each time I called...the last time being a week before Christmas, 2016. I do not think these rebates exist and I will not ever recommend LG or HH Gregg to anyone due to this false type of advertising. I have contacted HH Gregg in Greenville, SC as well to be told they have no LG representative, yet they represent LG in their advertisements and promote the rebates as part of the incentive to buy the LG products.

File a complaint--hit them where it hurts--maybe
then they will take responsibility and fix the defeats.
But we need to unite and call...

Why does LG Electronics think that we will let them
get away with taking out money and putting out products
that our inferior! They don't seem to care about the consumers.
It's time to stand up. Call the Federal Trade Commission. The BBB.
Your local TV Stations. We need to get it out there that LG Electronics
is a Freud. Lets make them recall the products, fix whats defective.

LG Electronics refrigerator

Fridge broke Dec 7th called LG, tech came Dec 9th not the 12th as they said, great. Dec 12th 2nd tech calls to come I explain 1 already came he tells LG I refused him entry. Called in on the 15th no record of the tech on the 9th need to rebook on the 19th. Tech comes in for 2 mins says fridge def recommends a replacement.. great. Call in on the 21rst still no paperwork received from the tech on the 19th. Sent an email to LG they say its escalated and some1 will call me in 2 to 4 business days. Called in on the 24th the tell me they have received the paperwork on the 20th the day before I called in last time. Called in on the 28th an get sent to executive team who explains that the fridge is no repairable and they will give me a prorated amount aprox 800 towards a new LG fridge. Its been 3 weeks with no fried ruined Christmas dinner the same thing went def 2x in 5.5 years the tech recommend replacement as if he fixes it will break again and I have to pay out over 1500 for a new fridge 5.5 years after spending over 2k on the original 1. Speaking with there executive team they have no care or concern that I have been living out of coolers for 3 weeks and that I need to pay for a new fridge when I bought a lemon. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with, in the end I would like the fridge replaced as I was told they told me on the phone the same model can be replaced, I can get my pay1 price money back but in the end it is very fraudulent of them to say we will replace it and then 3 weeks later tell you how much you need to pay. If LG had any loyalty towards there customers they would replace the fridge with a new 1 as obviously this 1 was a bad 1 from the start as they can see from the history. But a call back from some1 at any point during those 3 weeks would have been nice as well.

LG Electronics lg g5/ unethical behaviour

Greetings,

My main issue, i decided to change my old g phone and buy the lg g5, and so i did, from A. Sbitany & Sons Co. Ltd., and i wont lie i took it with a good price, but after two weeks i discovered that the front camera doesn't work and the system stuck. so i went to the company to return it and take a new one, the refused but fixed to me by changing the board or something like that, i felt like lg Company tricked me, i want a new phone, not to be fixed after a really small time, why should i buy a phone with issues in it? why should i buy a fixed phone? is it a trap? at first i was happy with the phone and was so excited with it, but now i will never recommend any one because the Sbitany company, your agent in palestine, will not give you a new phone but fix after only 2 weeks with a fault that is not mine but the fault of the lg company. Why should i buy a phone that doesnt work properly and keep it to be fixed!

Sorry that i wrote a lot, but i am writing what i am feeling, because i feel betrayed.

Lg g5 is great but is underrated, especially in Palestine, In my own opinion, if it matters, i think the issue come from the price, it keeps changing fast, people say don't buy it, after one moth you can buy it half the price, that needs to stop, it is bad for the company and anyone who buys the phone first, i cant understand how iphone 6 is more expensive than lg g5! lg g5 is way better but people just love stability, it is not only buying a phone, it is about how much will i lose if i sell it next year.

LG Electronics customer service

Bought an LG G4. Phone was sent in for repairs, unable to unlock phone. That was 3 weeks ago. Since then no replies to emails or on social media, only replies of "We will get back to you" then no response. In what world does getting an unlock code take weeks!? I'm not sure anybody is even working there. Desirable resolution?! GIVE ME MY DAMN UNLOCK CODE!

LG Electronics lg refrigerator

I purchased a new LG Refrigerator on 6/30/15 and over the past 17 months, it has been out of service 3 times. We've had the compressor replaced once and scheduled for parts to arrive again for another fix. For spending over $3, 000 on a product, we did not expect to have this many issues. We've continued to have water damage, loss of food and medical supplies, and have lived out of a cooler for over 6 weeks. For a house of 5 people, including an infant, this is not an easy or cheap thing to do. Each time the appliance has stopped working, it has taken weeks for the extended warranty company, Assurant, to find someone who can service the product. While I understand this is an Assurant service issue, I write this in hopes that others understand the potential issues with the product and to provide LG an opportunity to resolve the issues that continue to cause headaches in our household because of the faulty product.

LG Electronics damaged tv screen

Dear Sir,
I beg to draw your kind attention towards the purchase of a LG smart TV model no 55UH651V from M/s seven Wonders electronic vide cash memo no. 32538 dated 8th October, 2016. It worked very well for a few days but now it has created disturbance.

I am very disappointed to inform you that the LG's service representative visit to inspect the damaged TV screen and he could not able to conclude the cause of damage, he could just able to anticipate that it might hit the screen from outside although he could not able to notice any dent, scratch or marks on screen from outside.

Certainly, we have not witness any such incident that cause the screen damage from outside even no evidence of mark, scratch or dent found on it.

It is completely beyond our imagination that how could had damaged the screen without affecting screen from outside.

I insist you to find out the real cause of damage the screen or replace the television as it is under warranty and recently purchased.
Consequences of disinterest to resolve the issue would be not favorable for LG's reputations in terms of customer care

I look forward for your cooperation in order to resolve the issue.

LG Electronics washer/dryer & customer service

We purchased a washer, dryer, sidekick washer and dryer pedestal. On the DELIVERY DAY, the washer and sidekick were defective and leaked water all over our laundry room. After numerous hours on the phone and videos sent the LG, they finally agreed that we needed a replacement. They wanted to send out a new washer over a month after our original order date. When I complained, they said it was the earliest delivery date available even though on the store website, I could see that if I placed a new order, I could get a washing machine within the week. When I told the manager about this, she said I did not have a "new order" anymore and that it was a "replacement order", even though my original "new order" was defective. I received both a bad LG product and terrible customer service. All this, after the delivery team had hauled away my old appliances too! I explained to the manager that I could not be without a washing machine for over a month. She kept speaking over me and was rude on the phone saying there was nothing else she could do. You would think if they cared enough, they would try to make it right and somehow treat my "replacement order" as new, but the manager on the phone told me that could not be done as I already received their product. Terrible customer service and bad product!

LG Electronics lg v10

I purchased this phone approx. 4 months ago. I noticed that the back of the phone gets very hot. My phone is left on my night stand because I use it as an alarm clock. I woke up one morning shut the alarm off and noticed the screen was cracked. I explained this to customer service who gave me a r number to send it to them. I received an email today telling me that I dropped the phone WHICH I DID NOT. I explained to them the phone gets VERY hot but they didn't want to hear it. So now I am getting my legal department involved and putting a complaint with the BBB. How dare they tell me I dropped it when it was defective!

LG Electronics horrible customer service

Electric Range LG lre 6383sw purchased June 2014.
AC outlet stopped working Sept. 2016 because the thermal fuse is broken.
This is an inexpensive part easily replaced that I could install.
Called the 800-number for Customer Service.
Found out that there is no service available in our area and they will not send the part.
LG only allows LG techs to work on the range.
Nearest service tech is 4 hours drive away.
Sears is advising potential customers now that there is no local service for LG.
In my 70 years, LG customer service is idiotic, ineffective and a waste of time.
After many calls to LG for help without success, we're not buying any other LG product.

LG Electronics lg french door refrigerator lmx25986st

Refridgerator failed to cool on 10/9, 3 service calls later the A&E tech after contacting the LG Technical Center they requested he preformed a vacuum test it failed. The A&E tech recorded and photographed the readings declaring the refrigerator not repairable. He said A&E would forward all his findings to LG and LG would call within 3 days to arrange a replacement as is is still under warranty. After waiting 5 days I started calling LG they say A&E never sent them notification. I called A&E they said to have LG call them, after 16 calls between the two NOTHING got done, I've requested to talk to supervisors only to be put on hold for 18 minutes and getting hung up on. A&E is the "factory authorized" repair service for LG yet they cannot communicate to each other. It's now 10/17 and A&E next service
appointment isn't available to 10/29. LGs customer service is abominable only surpassed by A&Es!

LG Electronics repairs to my microwave

i would like to complain about poor service received from th klerksdorp repair centre..i had my micro repaired it took several weeks and came back without 2 leg.i had to recently buy a new turntable after ordering ther part i waited very long for it to come and everytime you phone no one answers..again my micro blew an i cannot get hold of anyone from the centre it is very anoying as i find it dificult without micro..i hope we can get beter service and veter products my micro was so expensive n i have endless problems..wont purchase lg again

LG Electronics french door refrigerator lfx31925st

Bought it from Home Depot Nov. 2012. Couldn't use the icemaker because of the bad well water we had at the time. Meanwhile people are suing LG for a bad cooling fan board while our unit was still under warranty. We didn't know that. Did they let their outlets know about it so they could contact us. Nope! Fast forward to May 2016 and our next house that we are remodeling. Hooked up the water and guess what. The cooling fan fails in 5 months.
So I appealed to LG, look you made the mistake in the design and knew it.
Help us out on the repair that you KNEW was inevitable. Nope. Sorry. Parts wear out was their response. My response is your selling crap and were not buying it anymore.

LG Electronics lg curve 56' oled

Actually i bought that LG curve tv OLED 56'' from UK (PC & currys) bring to Bangladesh, i didnt open that tv over there. At Bangladesh its everything's fine i run that with wi-fi but after 1 month its couldn't supply electricity to the picture tube, i mean its monitor cant open. So, how can i fixed that ? do u any well reputed engineer at Bangladesh to check my tv .

LG Electronics no covered in warranty

I bought a lg g4 mobile phone less than an year back from souq.com paying aed 1684/-. Within less than a year it crashed (Main board complained). When I called souq customer service they said it is not covered under souq warranty and I need to check with lg service center. When I approached lg service center after checking the serial number of the phone they said it is comes egypt warranty hence they will not be able to repair it under warranty. The phone is useless now as I have to pay aed 1050 / - for replacing main board. The new phone cost is equal or lesser than this cost of repair. I feel cheated as this phone is not original. My sincere advise to all please don't buy anything online specially from souq.com and also lg products because this the second bad experience for me buying an lg product.

LG Electronics washing machine

I purchased a high end washing machine for over $1100 and after a few years, the area on top, where you place detergent, bleach and fabric softener began to rust. There is a plastic cover on top that covers this but there is now rust all over the upper portion of this unit. I contacted the LG company and they said that i needed to send in pics and they would escalate. Nothing has happened and i am fed up with No results from the company. I see others on the web who have the same issue and not sure what to do but i recommend that you stay away from the LG as their quality is not as it is presumed.

Just real our mail correspondence!

According to this mail the unit would have been couriered to Bloemfontein the 20th of Sep 2016 and then exchanged with the current faulty one at Dr Weyers house...

- It’s been almost a year since we’ve tried to sort this problem
- We have never had such unprofessional service – EVER
- The best day in life is when we have a working fridge/freezer and NEVER have to do business with LG ever!

I’m actually speechless and appalled.

I believe that when LG are looking at performance bonuses and getting rid of dead wood, your departments must be visited.

Geagte Mnr Kloppers

Wees so gaaf en help ons met hierdie probleem. Dr Weyers het u so 2 jaar terug 'n LG yskas by Klopper gekoop. Die deur het so 2 maande terug opgehou om water en ys te maak. Ek het u yskas afdeling geskakel om te help met 'n diens of ondersoek oor wat die probleem mag wees.

Die afdeling het my info geneem en ook my die info van Bloemfontein Appliances gegee – ek het daar met 'n Zelda en Wally gepraat. Hulle het genoem dat hulle na die yskas sal gaan kyk en ook genoem dat hulle R513, 00 vra vir 'n diens en uitroep.

Ek het Bloemfontein Appliances gebel en gevra of hulle al terugvoer het en wat hulle beplan. Wally het genoem dat hy nog nie terug gekom het na my toe nie, omdat hy met LG gepraat het en LG weet van die probleem, hulle moet dalk 'n ander deur stuur.

Ek het ook genoem dat dit dalk net die water stelsel kan wees wat verstop was. Wally het laat weet hulle sal terug kom maar het nog nie weer terug gekom nie. Ek het Bloemfontein Appliances so 3 weke terug geskakel en met 'n ander man gepraat wat ook nie terug gekom het na my nie.

HELP asb, ons weet nie meer wat om te doen nie.
