Indane / Indian Oil Corporation review: gas agency problems! 214

Sir I am a consumer of Indane LPG (No.18330) through SANKAR, AGENCIES, CHEVAYOOR, CALICUT, KERALA, 673017 . The agency generally takes a period of more than 30 days to provide the delivery of refilled LPG cylinders. When make an enquiry to the Agency they will blame the Indane Company. But there is no any shortage of LPG in Kerala presently. The Agency does not provide better service. Lastly I booked for new cylinder on 06/09/07 but the delivery is made on 25/10/07 only. Please consider my complaint .

my copy number is m-26945...i got a connection from mann gas service,guru tegh bahadur chowk,bibi wala road,bathinda(151001),punjab...the dealere code is 82-01-0893...i stay in #1499,model town phase 3,bathinda...the services of the dealer have not been satisfactory...we have not been recieving delivery even after 40 to 45 days of request...we have recieved the last delivery after 43 days of request...and even not been given the contact number of the field manger so that we can complain about this...we have also not been issued the second cylinder on our copy even after asking for the same...we heartidly request you to take some action over this...ju can contact us on [protected] and [protected]

My name is S.V. Ramachandran, consumer No, 21427 (Customer No.3199) registered with Superflame Gas Agency, 103 Valluvar Kottam High Road, Chennai 600034. The refill cylinders for Nov 2010 bears Batch No.AJ23 - A-10 Best date 11/97, and for December 2011 - Batch No. IP660 - C-10, Best Date 08/00. Both cylinders were completely rusted, dented and sometimes gas leakage smell emenated. Are they (IOC Bottling Plants) not supposed to issue new cylinders?

I booked my cylinder on 22/04/2008 on that time they said that their cash & carry software is not working .Today i went to Ramnik Gas agency on my village for cash & carry of gas cylinder today they again said that their cash & carry software is not working that why u have pay for home delivery payment after that u get a gas cyliner the cash & carry price is 288.60 & home delivery price is 10 extra. If I m free & I go there for cash & carry so why I pay 10 extra. After that I want sale's officer phone number they said that we don't have sale's officer phone number. So, plz advice me wht can i do on this topic.

We booked the indane gas cylinder on 22nd October at 8:50 am, which should have been dispatched on 23rd but it was recieved only on o6th Nov 09 that too, after visiting to the office.
Above all the gentleman came in to deliver it was not carrying any measuring instrument and did not have the original reciept of delivery...however as we were in need of the cylinedr we had to accept it with the reciept made by piece of paper and he argued this is what we are getting from gas agency..
what i figure out is there is high corruption going on in our agency i.e. Shri Radha Govind Gas Service situated in Kailash Nagar 9/171 Shyam Block Delhi-31(TIN No. [protected]),
i am wandering if something can be done against it ...

i am a customer of chandra gas agency of indane gas supplier. there is no proper supply of gas cylinder and now there is a unnecessary gas checking charge of Rs 70.00 without any information. but before there is no check up and now why we should give Rs.70.00 and what is the purpose of collecting this checking charge. whether if any needable reason for this collection.my mobile-7200087319and my mail id saravanan_ssservice@yahoo.com. reply must.

The gas agent M/s. Aishwarya Gas Distribters functioning at Chullickal, Cochin is delaying the gas connection to be changed to my name after my husband expired. Every time I go to the agent he keeps on changing the requirements of documents to be produce.

I, Rambir Singh, have a Indane Gas Connection (No. 9610). I had booked for refilling a gas on 24/11/2009 to my distributor agency (Dwarka Indane Gas). They booked my gas and said your cylinder will deliver within a week. Till 09/12/2009, I have not received my gas then I call my distributor (Dwarka Indane Gas), they said that your gas was not booked earlier so we are booking your gas now i.e. on 09/12/2009.
Further I had booked for refilling a gas on 31/12/2009. They booked my gas and said your cylinder will deliver within a week. Till 04/01/2010, I again have not received my gas then I call my distributor. They said that your gas was not booked earlier so we are booking your gas now i.e. on 04/01/2010.
I am not satisfied with the services of Dwarka Indane Gas Agency . I am very frustrated.
The necessary action should be taken against the agency for consumer discomfort.

Too much of delay in supply of indane gas cylinders and putting customers in trouble

We have Indane Gas connection in my name SRINIVASAN, consumer no. 23348 with Sree Venkateshwara gas Agency, Hosur

The above Sree Venkateshwara gas Agency delays too much to supply Gas cylinder to us and takes nearly 20 days to supply a Gas cylinder from the booking date.We Have a singal cylinder connection Most of the time we are running short of Gas cylinders and we are in trouble due to too much of delay in Gas cylinder registration and supply.

WE ARE IN TOO MUCH OF TROUBLE THAT WE HAVE NO GAS CYLINDER TO COOK FOOD MOST OF THE TIME BY TOO MUCH OF DELAY IN SUPPLY OF GAS CYLINDERS

CAN INDANE GAS TAKE CARE OF ITS VALUABLE CUSTOMERS ?

I am the consumer of indane gas bearing customer no.:13956 with RENU ENTERPRISSESS, Tonk Road, Sawai Madhopur(Rajasthan.). I want to complaint regarding lazy or rude behaviour of gas agency staff. whenever i called the agency to book my cylinder, they said that i can book the cylinder after 21 days.I booked gas on dt.19/03/2011 but not delivered me till date. I have only one cylender.
so its a humble request to u to take this matter seriously & take some action as soon as possible.

I have given booking request to Lord balaji gas agency on 23.3.2011. The booking No . is 5584. I have not got the LPG Cylinder yet. On enquiring they told that they have shifted godown and office. The Other Gas cylinder at my place is empty now. Please help me with immeidate supply as i am facing serious problem. If you cannot do immediate supply please ask other distributor to supply Gas else i will have to take strict action against the company.

I am a serving Army officer and Indane user for the last 14 years. I am holding a gas connection with Sridhar Gas Service, No 11/4, Morrison 1 Street, Alandur, Chennai-600016 under consumer No 74098. The cylinder is never delivered home against home delivery bookings.Recently i booked a Cy for home delivery and i gets a SMS massage on 24 Jun 11 Cash memo No 8478 has been generated against my booking No 213747. Till date i have not got the delivery. This is a regular affair.

This is to inform you that I booked my Gas cylinder against Number 3728 (Vasu Ram Nagpal ) in November 2009 and enquired in Dec.2009, The gas agency had not given me cylinder and said that your cylinder is not booked and then I again booked my cylinder before One and a half month in December 2009. But I have not received till today after forty days. The distributer is Blackmarketing the Gas Cylinders . It is not possible for me to get it from black market.
Kindly take the necessary action against Raghu Gas Agency Khandsa Road Gurgaon (HR)and Oblige.

My consumer no. is 18980. The agency do not attend the phone calls. There telephone no. is [protected]. Even when my cylinder was booked by the telephone on 02nd of Feb 2008. I personally went to agency's office and rebooked it 2 days back. The office staff assured my that the gas cylinder will be delivered within 2 days. Today they delivered the cylinders in my building to other occupants but not to me. This is a regular problem of the agency.

I have a consumer C.No-197959 of 'GURGAON GAS SERVICES"', Mehrauli Rd Gurgaon (HR) Ph-[protected] & 2322062. It is their rule/practice that a new cylinder booking is registered only after 15 days passed from the date of delivery of last cylinder. So, following their practice, I booked for my new refill on 18/12/2009 but after pass by an 11 days period, I telephonically further enquired on 29/12/09 about my refill delivery then staff on duty replied that due to supply problem it will take another 2-3 days and by 01-Jan-2010, cylinder will be at your door. But on 3rd-Jan 10, sudden my cylinder in use got finished then on further query, gas supplier promised me to deliver the refill positively on 5-01-10. But when today on 05-01-10 when I enquired again then staff rudely replied that "JAB SUPPLY HOGI TO BHEJ DI JAAYEGI AUR 20 DIN SE PAHLE BAAT MAT KARNA". It is submitted that as I am an AIR FORCE employee and due to Gas Supplier not having consumer oriented attitude, I am continuously suffering and had become bound to think only about cooking gas despite of my sensitive duties towards the nation. Anyhow since three days I am already running without gas and time-being only electric heater made to survive my family. I can proudly say that it is a complete failure of Gas delivery system and Gas Dealer openly got involved in BLACK MARKETING. This matter is before your high office for natural justice and only your necessary expedite actions will help to get the my food cooked.

i have register on 30th jan 2010 for the connection of LPG but i did not get the connection till now when i talked to them they said cilinder is not yet come.Idont know when i have to get thje connection

I am a LPG Indane customer with Munda Gas Service, Sambalpur, Orissa and my consumer Number is 8540. Regularly I have to book for refile after 21 days of delivery of the cylinder and the supplier. The supplier only give home service and assures that the cylinder will reach you witin 2 to 3 days. But after several qureis the refile is reaching after 12 to 15 days.

It is sorry to state that I am getting a refile cylinder after 30 to 35 days.
Hence it is requested to pass necessary orders to provide good and well to the customers.

with great regret, this has to inform you that myself Amit Kumar Sharma is a consumer of Indane Gas(Nirmal Gas Agency, Amritsar). I am an employee of Customs and Central Excise, Amritsar. My Con. No, is 9734( Amit Kumar Sharma). Kindly pay attention on the following points:

1. Booking is done after 21 days of the previous delivery of the cylinder. Cylinder is delivered after 15 days of the booking. Overall, 21+15=36 days are required to get a cylinder. My gas cylinder lasts for 30 days(approx). What should I do for last 6 or 7 days? Should I go to any Langer or Temple ? please explain……
When I was in Delhi, gas was booked after every 21 days and same was in Ludhiana. Why the rules are different in Amritsar.
2. Gas Agency Staff never pick up the phones. you always visit to them for booking.
3. Gas Agency Staff always insulted the consumers, talk in irritating way and even more..
4. Whenever their vendor comes to deliver the cylinder, he charges Rs.10/- extra to carry the cylinder to my doorstep as I live on IInd Floor.
5. The owner, Mr Harpreet Singh, knows everything but always favours his staff.

It seems you have given licensed in wrong hands to torture the public.
Kindly take a serious look into the matter before I and layman lose faith in Indane Gas Authorities.

I have complaint against sausar Indane Gas agency (Dist-Chhindwara)for irregular delivery.He always gives delivery of gas afer 20 to 22 days that too afer a lot of follow ups.But he sends on time delivery to people who are their favourate. This time also I have made booking on 5/7/2009 and haven, t received delivery till date now.My connection No.is 4630.

I am an Indane LPG consumer from Anand gas agency Palarivattom Janatha, Kochi, Kerala.I had booked a cylinder on June 1, 2011.Till this date (july 11, 2011) the product is not delivered.On enquiry, they will say next week..So many weeks passed by..They are not giving genuine reason.Hope some black business is taking place.

So I humbly request to take appropriate action.In cities no other way than using LPG..

I am using the Indane Gas services provided by Sharma Gas Agency, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi with consumer no 42710. The service of this asgency is very poor. For the last 7 days I am trying to book my cylinder, but they are not picking the phone.

They should be pulled up for these type of services. Indane should warn them for this poor responce to the customers.

it learnt that indane gas ltd has informed forced to use the filled cylender within three months to avoid blocking of consumer number. This rule is encouraging the customer misuse of gas cylenders by selling it to other commercial customers by hotels etc to avoid the blocking of consumer number, if the consumer do not use the cylinder within three months.
Please change the existing rule as per your slogan and advertisement " save energy, save gas, save power etc

We compalint for a gas leakage cylinder and there was no response fro the gas providing agency as the person on the phone confirmed that he would be there in an hour to attaend the same. But even after 48 hrs no body has attended or even changed the leaked cylinder ...

my consumer id is 36325 i live in bangalore, always delivery boy frm anusha indane gas co. chargs 350/ for gas cylinder it is actually 326 only if not giving he is not going and keep on knocking my door for half hour and abusing then going we don't want this so we complain to agency but they don't take any action so i am mailing you hope you will fullfill your responsibility and take strick action against them the delivery boy name is raju, they don't have any id card or any authentification also.

I called CVS Pharmacy to ask about refills on 2 RX and woman who ansered phone in pharmacy was very rude, sharp and hung up on me. There is no excuse for her behavior.

I booked my gas cylinder on 1 march 2015, and after about 18 days it got cancelled.
I booked it again on 18 march 2015, but I did not receive my delivery till date.
Today is 24 march 2015, and my gas cylinder got empty.
There is a great chios in my house right now, and all the members are suffering.
I tried to call the gas agency but no one seems to pick the phone up. I do not know what to do in this situation.

I am living in Alstom Colony Shahabad.I am connected with LPG gas since from 28/02/1999( Nearly about 15 years).Earlier LPG gas was supplied by Cookwell gas agencies after some years M/s Guru gas agencies are taken.When they are started to issuing system by supplied the white paper stamped on agency seal, That has to be considered has a pass book. Now they are introduced pass book.. So many persons are not taken takenpass book.I am one of them.Recently they are supplied the cylinders in our colony.he has given the cylinders to our neighbors without pass book but the agency person refused give the cylinder only for me. He has asked extra amount (Rs.1200). I had refused and said that, I will give the Cylinder after taken the pass book, before stopping he has not given any notice.notice. OK, any way i had gone to their office for taking the book.They told that they are not having pass book. after 2 days again gas cylinders are coming in our colony.Please can you guide me how to take cylinders without giving corruption.

This is regarding a distributor in Tirupathi named srinivasa gas agencies at tirupathi. He has wrongly entered my Adhaar no, BUt when complained about 3 months, still no action. Pls help us in rectifying the correct aadhaar no.[protected].

I had booked my indane gas for refill on 14/11/2010. Till today i haven't recieved the full cyclinder from vasant enterprises, indiranagar, bangalore. But how they are delivering to other customers. I hope they are selling the gas in black market and cheating the regular customers.So i suggest IOCL team has to take serious action on these dealers and cancel their license. During my DBC also they cheated me
by taking Rs. 2000/- but other dealers in bangalore are taking on Rs.1500/- only as deposit. Why the IOCL is not take care and encouraging this type of distributors/dealers in market by cheating the customers. If IOCL is not ready to take any action i am planning to send this message to the public through press.

Suddenly they have closed their office and i do not know who will supply gas cylinders to me any longer as no information was given.

The complaint regarding Non delivery of gas cylinder by M/s Uday gas agency, Naroda patiya, ahmedabad is as mentioned below.
* Non delivery of gas cylinder even booking has been made on IVRS System on 04-04-2008 for consumer no.28377.
*The delivery man has replied that, he has not any booked cylinder for above said consmer no.
*IVRS system does not give the booking no.
* The behavior of delivery man is not proper.
So, You are kindly requested to make arrngement for gas cylinder quickly to avoid our inconveniency.

This is to kindly draw your attention to my problem regarding delay in receiving gas cylinders.
I am a consumer of Indane Gas with my Consumer No. OM 09210 and my distributor is:

I want to state that we do not receive our gas within the committed period of 15 days. There is always a delay and whenever we try to contact our distributor we never get a positive response from them.
Also, as there is a monopoly of the distributor in our area, he tries to neglect us and does not respond to us even on proper follow up from our side.
Kindly draw your attention on our problem and please look into the matter on an urgent basis. Also, please reply if it is possible to change the distributor.
