Arby's does not accept arby's gift cards

I have been giving my mom Arby's gift cards since she and my aunt were going to lunch at Arby's store #5735, in Torrance, CA, weekly for the last few years. All of a sudden, they stopped accepting the cards, saying that they were not able to process the cards. I called the corporate "make it right" line and was told that even though I bought the gift cards from the company, they couldn't do anything about the store not processing them. They said that their solution was to find another Arby's that would accept the cards. I told them that going to another store was not an option because my mom is 93, and doesn't drive. I feel like I just threw my money away. There was no disclaimer on the website, saying that some stores wouldn't honor the cards. It seems like they are taking advantage of those who have no other options. I asked if there was someone I could write to, the representative said that he didn't have any names and he basically said that other callers were waiting and hung up on me.

Arby's arbys refused to serve me

I attended Arbys drive thru on stadium dr of Kalamazoo. The hours of operation are 10 am - 1 am and I got there at 12:54 am and they refused to serve me even though it says they were open. The lady operating the drive thru was very rude and disrespectful and she tried to lie to me saying that they were closed. When I pulled around and drove past the window they were goofing off. If they are going to close before 1 am then I would appreciate it if they changed the time and not be completely disrespectful by refusing to serve me. I will be calling tomorrow to report what happened to the manager and I will be posting on social media and explaining to all of my followers how truly disrespectful the arbys on stadium drive is. I do not appreciate how I was treated.

Arby's overall food

Went to store # 6514 706 Plaza Dr Chesterton, IN 46304. Order # 0375

We ordered Italian Sub and Turkey BLT both with potato cakes and drinks. The Italian Sub was cold. The bread was stale. The cheese wasn't even melted. I loved this sandwich the last few times I have had it but if this had been my first I certainly wouldn't order it again. My husband had your BLT and said it was ok but what happened to their shakes. I tried and it was awful. Bottom of the machine? I don't know but it was horrible. We went through the drive thru because we were on a trip from Chicago to Ludington, MI. We certainly weren't going to go back because it was rather late already. Time stamp on the ticket is 21:14. I don't usually write reviews or complaints but this was worthy of a complaint. It was the worst $18.31 I have ever spent.

Arby's arbynator

i ordered the new Arbynator sandwich in Drive thru. After I received my food I continued driving and then started to open my food. When I opened the box the sandwich was on its side and looked like stuff was just thrown together in the box. It was really sloppy with all the sauces in the bottom of the box. I will Have added a picture to show how it was before I moved everything to make it edible.

Arby's food

You've got the meat ok... Now just start putting it in the sandwich. It's all bread and very little meat.. Just like subway only more expensive... Prices have gone up and you don't honor coupons. All well and good that you remodel the restaurant. Looks nice but I go there to eat not to admire the motif. I'm tempted to order a beef sandwich and tell them to hold the bread but i'm afraid I wouldn't be able to find the beef.

Arby's customer service.

My husband and I went to Arby's on Oneida street in ashwaubenon. I ordered a roast beef classic meal with a large motzerella sticks and my husband ordered a gyro meal. We sat there for 10 minutes and another couple came in and ordered. While sitting there they are telling everyone that there were only 2 of them working at the moment. After waiting 20 minutes I see that the couple who came in after us received thier meal. So I asked why we haven't received our food yet. The cashier told me that it was because the motzerella sticks take a while to cook. So you're telling me it takes 30 minutes to cook mozzarella sticks?Yet me and my husband watched her go drop the motzerella sticks after I complained. That was the worst service I ever received. Not only did it take half an hour for us to receive our food but to be lied right to our faces. NICE! Because of this experience I will never go back to this restaurant again. Thank you Arby's for ruining what used to be my favorite food!

Arby's poor service

Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
November 1, 2018

Re: Complaint Against:

Arby's Restaurant Branch
307 Prairie View Road
Chippewa Falls, WI 54720

Store I.D. No.: 6137

Dear Mr. Lynch:
I am compelled to bring this matter to your attention as the worldwide President and CEO of Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., because every reasonable attempt to bring it to the branch manager's attention for amicable resolution was systematically frustrated, stifled and prevented by repeated telephone hang-ups and evasiveness by local employees, with the approval of the branch manager named "Patrick".

The genesis of this of this complaint began on Tuesday, 10/30/18, when I stopped by the local Arby's here in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, to pick up a takeout order of Gyros sandwich at the bargain price of 2 for 1 for $6. It was 3:19 P.M. late in the afternoon. Lunch had already been served and the dining room was completely empty. There was no other customer in the restaurant but me alone. The employees were standing idling behind the counter chit-chatting and passing the time when I walked up to the counter and placed my order to go. The black woman that was standing in the drive-thru window doing nothing was asked by another employee to take my order. She types my order in and then asks me: "What is your name?" I told her that since I was the only customer in the store standing right before her eyes waiting for my order: why would she need to put my name on the sandwich when there was no other order to cause any mix-ups or confusion with mine? She got very loud, rude and irate and screamed at me: "I'm just doing my job." I told her that I understand why customer name tags might be needed to avoid confusing orders when there are many orders. Some other fast food restaurants, like McDonald's, Burger King, etc., use "order Numbers" to avoid collecting unnecessary personal identifying information from customers. But when you have just one customer in the store alone to serve, why would you need a name tag on his order? She angrily rang up my order and told me: "Your total is $6.33". I handed her my debit card. Again, she rudely shouted at me: "You swipe it." And I did. I waited for about 5-10 minutes and when my order was finished, she picked up the two Gyro sandwiches I ordered and dropped them in a brown paper bag and threw it at me over the counter and walked away without saying a word. No thanks, nor any expression of appreciation for my patronage as a valued customer.

I also observed that she was not wearing any sanitary gloves when she handled my food. The green nail polish on her fingers were all half peeled off her dirty fingernails, and her over-all personal hygiene was just too appalling to be allowed to handle foods intended for consumption by customers. She seemed more concerned about her weave than simple personal hygiene. When you combine her poor personal hygiene with her rude behavior towards customers, that is sufficient to drive customers away from Arby's altogether. To avoid creating an altercation on the business premises, I took the order and walked out of the restaurant and went home and threw the sandwiches away. The next day, Wednesday 10/31/18, at about 1:20 P. M., I called the branch manager's office to bring this to his attention. Another employee answered the phone and said she didn't know the manager's name. I asked her how is it possible for an employee not to know the name of the branch manager who hired you? She then told me to hold on and was gone for about 5 minutes. When she came back she finally told me that "His name is Patrick." I told her I needed his full name to send a letter to him. She hung up on me. I called right back to make sure we didn't get disconnected by mistake. This time I got the answering machine, which confirmed my suspicion that she deliberately hung up on me.

Arby's pride itself as a "company that values innovation, trust and respect." If that is the company's public face, apparently that "respect" is not shown to its customers here at the Chippewa Falls branch under Manager "Patrick's Team Leadership. The manager is charged with the responsibility of "enhancing the overall guest experience by providing outstanding product and service to increase sales and profits." I do not see how an employee can enhance guest experience by throwing their food at them over the counter, especially if that employee looks filthy and handles foods without safety gloves. But that seems to be okay under "Patrick's" team leadership here at Chippewa Falls Arby's.

The manager is further charged with "monitoring quality food and service, and to ensure that the restaurant is 100% staffed with quality Team Members, and to oversee preparation to ensure that every product served meets high standards of product quality, in addition to executing systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant, in order to deliver quality food fast & friendly." It is impossible for the local branch manager, "Patrick", to meet these corporate goals by condoning employees' abusive behavior towards customers of Arby's. Managers are instructed to "take action to solve problems as necessary" in order to encourage "repeat customer visits" by maintaining "high standards of service". Arby's Corporate leadership has imposed these requirements on local managers because they know that in order to increase sales and maximize profit margins, it makes good business sense to provide "exceptional guest service." I seriously doubt that Arby's employees in Chippewa Falls currently under "Patrick's" Team Leadership see any rational connection between between their paychecks and treating customers with the respect and dignity that they deserve as valued patrons of the restaurant.

Thanks for the attention to this matter. Because Arby's cautions against disclosure of any personal identifying information in correspondences for privacy reasons, I will simply sign this complaint as "Customer".

Sincerely,
Customer

Arby's bad service

I went in the facility around 11:30 A.M. on October 10th. I placed my order and waited. one sandwich. I waited about 5 minutes. The girl who took my order asked, you had the sandwich, right. 2 or 3 more people came in and ordered, and received their food. Several cars through the drive-thru were also served. I waited about ten more minutes. another guy asked me if I had been waited on. I responded, yes about 20 minutes ago. Finally I asked for my money back. She gave me my money back, but never said a word... The whole time I was waiting the majority of the employees, were either talking or playing on their phones! totally unacceptable...

Arby's not honoring coupons

From the Arby's App emailed to me was a coupon expiring 10/11/18 for buy one drink and receive a free signature sandwich, used it two days ago, went back today, the mgr. said we do not accept these, I told her that I used it before, she was rude, said that the mgr. did not know what she/he was doing, and refused to give me the owners name and phone # to contact the owner saying that they don't bother the owner for things like this, then walked away ignoring me when I asked other questions. They also never provide you with an Arby's detailed receipt of prices and items ordered which does not allow me to submit the Arby's survey feedback. I eat at Arby's on a regular basis and they have always honored their coupons. I was here at the Pineville, Louisiana store on 10/9/2018 at approx. 12:00.

Arby's order for $4 meal on menu at drive thru... reuben meal

On 10/9/18 @ 2:41 p.m., I went to the drive thru window intercom to place my order. Order ID: AABJZG9AAGCX, at location #05989, 2501 Little Rock Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214. It was raining at the time. I was asked to repeat my order number three times in a row. I assumed "Twyla" didn't or couldn't hear me. The last time I said it loudly. She was very rude & stated back, "you don't have to yell" in a hateful tone. I told her that I assumed that she couldn't hear me. When I got to the checkout window, I was visibly upset. Instead of saying nothing, she said back to me again in a nasty tone, "you have a nice day"as I received my order. I told her she was rude as I drove off & she again started saying something rude back to me although I couldn't understand her exact words. She needs to be removed from the window. She obviously has an anger problem & should never treat a customer in that manner. I am a Psychiatric Nurse. I hear it all day...I would never engage a patient. She requires more training in dealing with the public. I won't return to this restaurant.

Arby's restaurant closing early

On Friday, October 5th at 10:45 PM, I went to the restaurant in Centerville, UT (Sorry, don't know the restaurant number) for a drive-thru order. The restaurant was closed, although their hours reveal they were supposed to be open until 12:00 AM. This was not the first time I have experienced this at this restaurant.

So, I went to Wendy's across the street. I'm pretty sure you don't want people frequenting your competition when your restaurant is open (or supposed to be).

I would appreciate a reply.

Arby's having leaves blown in the parking lot at lunch time.

On 10/2/2018 I went to Arbys at 6308 Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC at 12:45pm. While waiting in the drive thru line, landscapers proceeded to blow the grounds. Blowing leaves, debris etc on all the cars in line. I had just got my car cleaned so I rolled down my window to say: Hey, don't blow that debris on the cars out here. The blowing machine was soo loud and the worker had on ear muffs so he didn't hear me. The trash and mess blew INTO my car at this point. I don't know if this is something that corporate schedules or if the manager Marcus don't care about his customers. But I will not be going back.

Arby's restroom

I was at your state blvd location using the mens rest room in fort wayne indiana 46805
The mens rest room has a slide bolt lock on main rest room mens door.
When you slide lock there is no way to open from outside in case customer falls down gets hurt what ever. This is definatly a hazzord and opens you up to a law suit in the future.
Please look onto this

Arby's no arby's restaurant close enough

Hi, Let me begin by saying that Arby's has been our favorite drive-in fast food chain for many decades since it first opened in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia (near Solly Ave and Roosevelt Blvd) when my brother and I were teenagers (We're now pushing 60 and 65). We first fell in love with their roast beef sandwiches, super-chocolately, thick shakes and uniquely textured french fries (seemed like the potatoes were put through a ricer and formed into spikey sticks -- Yummy!).

And it was only 5 minutes driving distance from our house... yay! Then one day, you took our beloved Arby's away from us ! For years, couldn't find an Arby's anywhere in our area. So Sad!

Many years later, we were delighted to find an Arby's near Route 1 and Oxford Valley Rd, in Levittown, but now closed. Eventually, I stumbled on a few, but none near our home.

There are now only three Arby's even remotely near our home, each at least a half hour drive away (we never moved -- you guys did!)

That's our big complaint -- why none closer, in the very heart of Northeast Philly? Your food is so much fresher, without all the grease, more inventive and tasty, (I'm a sucker for your Greek Gyros -- why not on the full-time menu?). Give me a jamocha shake, a large order of poppers with bronco berry sauce and just about any of your market fresh sandwiches (as I said, I'm thrilled every time I see the Greek Gyros back on the menu) and I'll follow you anywhere!

We still live in the same house, in the true heart of Northeast Philadelphia, near Castor & Cottman, but have to drive all the way into Bensalem on Street Road, or to the dregs of Port Richmond on Aramingo Avenue, or all the way up to what is now called Philadelphia Mills to get Arby's fare... NOT FAIR!

We have 3 Burger Kings, 3 Wendy's, 3 Checkers, 3 KFCs, 2 Taco Bells and 3 McDonalds, each within 5-10 minutes of the house but the one REAL quality chain, Arby's, has no presence in the area. What gives? So very sick of all the greasy, pre-fabbed burgers and/or chicken offered by these chains. Can't you find a way to mosey on back to our area? Please? Our aging stomachs and arteries just can't take all the grease, and I'll betcha a bunch of my fellow baby boomers, many of whom I bet remember the original one in our area, feel the same. We have tons of elementary, middle and high schools in this immediate area, and I bet most of the kids in these schools have never even tasted Arby's fare! They don't even know what they're missing! There are so many nights I'm too tired to cook and I'd love to be able to drive on in to an Arby's!

Thanks for (hopefully) taking the time to read this. I welcome your thoughts.

Arby's messed up order

I ordered a double beef n cheddar to go. I left with my order and when I had opened my sandwich there was no cheese. I was incredibly disappointed and I satisfied with this experience. They charge rather high for their sandwiches and I received one with out a main ingredient. This is not typical for this restaurant and I hope to see some sort of compensation or discount.

Arby's chicken bacon swiss sandwich

I eat at Arby's store 5966 at 13220 Midlothian
Multiple times a week and this is the first time
I can can remember that I was not satisfied with the food I bought. I ordered a chicken bacon Swiss sandwich and it tasted as if there was hardly any chicken on the sandwich at all. I was very disappointed in quality of sandwich. If this is the quality I can expect going forward than I will find another place to eat.
