Shortly after 1 p.m. I was in 7951 Circle K on February 28, 2020.
I decided to go to the bathroom. I walked in and the lady at the cash register stopped me and said to wait because the bathrooms needed to be checked and one person was waiting in front of me.
The other customer and I waited a short while. Another store employee come in from outside and the lady at the register asked her to go check the bathrooms so we could use it. She called her Dawn.
Dawn was the one that cleaned the bathrooms and was the one that put the wet floor sign down. Dawn went off on the customer waiting in line first. She raised her voice telling her "Well go on in there. You saw me clean them, you should know they are dry by now. If not, just don't fall. She continued mumbling and fussing about it. The customer said "don't yell at me, I didn't clean them". Dawn went on to tell her how she saw her clean them; she should know they are dry...
The lady at the cash register was working with a customer at check out but repeatedly told Dawn to calm down. She went on to tell Dawn that she could not treat a customer like that. She told her that if there is a Wet sign out, the customer shouldn't go on in. She kept all that she could away from the other customers hearing everything, but Dawn would not have it. Dawn went on and on fusing about the customer, raising her voice acting like a child. The lady at the register finally told Dawn to go take a break and calm down. Dawn went storming out of the doors yelling that she does not get paid enough to deal with this kind of crap.
Very disappointing. It made me very uncomfortable, I'm sure it made the other lady much more uncomfortable.
On a side note, the employee at the register did great. I have been in management for 34 years and she did everything right. Please reward her for that.
The other employee, in all honesty, needs to be fired.
