Circle K unethical treatment

My managers are sisters and obviously show there napatism in alot of ways dawn the assistant has been coplained about through corporate mant times the assistant is given a guarunteed 40 hours every week even if she leaves early. the take money from us and threaten to fire us if we dont give it. they hired one of the managers friends and ive been promoted to lead and cut my hours to give her friend them.she has only been there 4 months. Also the store manager told me she was going to cut my hours because they think i have a problem with dawn which isnt true. there also so much more and im not the only employee who wants to come forward we just dont know who to turn to.

Remember that if you are having a problem with a manager you can take it to your market manager. Or ask for a transfer. Just because you are having issues with one store, doesnt mean it should reflect the whole company. I have been employed with circle K for three years. Next year I will have my own store when my store manager retires. Come work for me! I will treat you right! lol :) But there are always ways to resolve your problems. And some people should have never been promoted to management in the first place. Good luck. Im sorry your having these problems.

Circle K donation boxes

I am sending this email in regards to the United Cerebral Palsy donation containers on the counter tops at all of the stores. While I find that placing a donation box out is an honorable venture for Circle K to partake in, I feel that having the clerks solicit donations by asking the customer if they would like to donate their change is crossing the line.

In this economy, everyone is a little more strapped for cash and some more so than others and the manner in which the clerks hold your change "hostage" while asking if you'd like to donate is humiliating especially while others are waiting behind you. If you say you would not like to donate, the clerks give you dirty looks like you are a criminal, while slowly handing the change back to you.

My wife lost her job and I work two jobs to survive and support my family and unfortunately, I have to go to Circle K sometimes 5-6 times a day for the little things like milk, bread, water, and the occasional bottle of soda or juice, and of course gasoline, and this suggestive donating is really frustrating especially since some of the clerks see a person many times a day.

I have spoken to the manager several times and she claims it is company policy to ask and if this is the case, then I will not be returning to Circle K to make my purchases since I am tired of being humiliated by saying no to the donations. I make barely enough to keep our family surviving and I know that this might be a trivial matter to some but if I go into the store several times a day and I average .50-.99 cents in change back, that adds up to a gallon of milk or loaf of bread, or even a gallon of gasoline...that which I am constantly being asked to donate.

Please put a stop to this practice of asking the customer if they want to donate as the clerks have no idea how it impacts a person's ego or conscience when they feel like a criminal for not donating.

"Clerks" at circle k obviously have a minimum wage job and completely understand scraping by pay check to pay check I mean If ur going to a gas station a few times a day for milk and various other items u r doing better than most bc most convenience store crap is over priced due to "the convenience" I understand its annoying; they have to ask they are grilled on a daily basis to ask, its a business if u don't ask u don't get. some people can and some people can't some people just pick out their pennies and put their pennies instead of the full change amount anything helps and if u feel humiliated that's ur own ego, not the question maybe u should make a change in ur life so u don't have to be humiliated for not having the change to donate to something...some people don't some people do man oh well

Having been the Customer Service Rep in this situation, I know exactly what you mean. It's awkward for the folks behind the counter as well.

Unfortunately for the employees, there's always something the manager/asst. manager/district manager wants you to be promoting as an extra sale at EVERY transaction, and if you don't try and sell whatever the current product is (whether it be a charity donation, on-sale Gatorade, etc) you get in trouble. Depending on the circumstances this could mean getting written up or suspended from work, which few Circle K employees can afford to risk.

I agree that this required extra sale is dumb and often inconsiderate, but the fault doesn't fall to the sales clerks. They're simply doing their job. The problem spawns from some decision made in upper management, but I don't think it'll be changing anytime soon.

P.S. I hope the clerks you've met (giving you reproachful looks) don't represent most Circle K employees. It's common knowledge that there are many times when people can't spare any change, and it's your money anyway - to do what you want to with it.

Circle K thermostat control

I don't know who bright idea it was to set the thermostat controls in the south georgia region on 77 degrees, but they must know nothing about the heat and humidity. I am a 9 year cancer survivor and I can not take the heat. It was 81 degrees in my store today. I have complained to manager and area manager to no avail. I am not the only one complaining. The store on hwy 80 has a big fan blowing cold air from their cooler. I am thinking of quitting my job and i've will have worked for circle k a year in july and I wanted to go into management for them I have a excellent resume in management with over 10 years retail/ please do somethiing!

I usually fill up at shell, but last friday filled up at the circle k because it had a cheaper premium gas price. I actually did not notice it was a circle k, but instead saw the 76 sign, and thought it was safe. The next morning, started the car and it threw up the check engine light. Engine felt bogged down, timing ###ed, rough idling and almost stalling...

Circle K treated rudely then cursed at

I walked into circle k on east 151st street carmel indiana to get a fresh mtn dew while my mother pumped gas. She came in the store to prepay for her gas. After paying for her gas she exited the store. I was still in the line waiting to pay. Two managers behind the counter and another customer began talking dirty about my mother saying she was stupid and it looked like she got hit bye the door on the way in. After I overheard that I let it go bye not wanting to start trouble or anything. Then my mother came back in the store to find out about her fuel points. Then she had exited again while i'm still in line. The employees and customer then said told u nutjob. Then I spoke up saying thats my mother and I would appreciate u not talking about her like that. Then I began to be treated rudely. I set my drink on the counter and said i'm not spending my money here and let them know I would be turning them in to there corperate offices. After I exited the store and told my mother what had been said she went in and said (That was really rude and she didnt deserve to be treated like that). An employee of circle k then told her shut the ### up and get out. This rude behavior will not be taken lightly. If actions are not taken I will post this incident on facebook and any website I can think of.

The assistant store manager, gerald, is consistently rude and often refuses to serve me when I go into the store. He often refuses lottery sales and tells me that's what the machine in the store is for to other customers, not just me. The only instances I have seen him act friendly is when his boss is in the store. He often parks his vehicle taking up...

Circle K false information on website

I won a free elk hunt on their website in march 2010. They advertised it as a "guided elk lodge hunt". I gave the hunt to my husband and the owner told us for 500 dollars I could come along and hang out in the lodge. They listed the emenities as satellite tv, comfortable modern lodge and home cooked meals. When we arrived, the modern, comfortable lodge with the satellite tv was their house with their kids and where we stayed (The last week of october in montana) was an unheated bunkhouse with a couple of spaceheaters (One of which didnt work) , a tv that didnt get any channels, some scratched dvd movies laying around and a couch with the springs sticking up through it. But, hands down, the worst part of the whole trip was the condition of the bunkhouse. We arrived to find it filthy. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain, no toilet paper, overflowing trash cans, the guides' personal toiletries, clothing and food laying around. The toilet and kitchen sink were disgusting, I spent 30 minutes cleaning the coffee machine, and the place was filled with flies. I sprayed hundreds of them for the 41/2 days we were there. When we asked where a store was that had cleaning products we were told to go to town and have a beer and someone would clean it. We came back and recleaned it with products we bought ourselves.
The house was off-limits except for meals. By the middle of the week we were not even being notified when dinner was ready and my husband got a sandwich and a granola bar and a bottle of water for lunch. We left a day early we were so fed up. I had to drive 17 miles one way to a store that had a video rental (Redbox) because nobody in darby would rent a movie to anyone who didnt have a darby address... Even with a credit card. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We drove across the country from michigan and paid 900 dollars for a license and 500 additional charge for crappy accomodations and food and service. The only thing that made the week bearable was the guide mike. He was awesome and even though my husband didnt get an elk he had alot of fun and exercise with the guide. Mike even recommended a great restaurant for our last night... Cause we knew we were not welcome at the "lodge". I cant believe that this guy is still in business. He bullied us about our political views and had us walking through horse ### to get to the bunkhouse. I even had a guide walk in on me just after I had gotten out of the shower with his dog "to get his shaving stuff". Give me as break! With all the outfitters in this area... Pick someone else. Funny... After we left they changed their website a bit. Still is a bunch of bull though.

On May 19, 2008 I left a package at the Greyhound Valley Retriever in Newport OR. It left with Insurance to Indianapolis Indiana and arrived as I received two phone calls on this matter that it did arrive. My buyer filed complaint that it was not there. I went to where it was sent from and he called Indianapolis # from above information. He told me that the package was signed for and picked up.

When I called myself June 26, 08 to ask for a copy for my claim against me I was rudely cut off when I asked to talk to the manager. She claimed that the confirmation # did not exist with greyhound. Mr. Picot who did attempt to retrieve his package was told the first time the same story about the # as I had the copy and he only had the number I gave him. The second time he returned he was told the package was returned. It has never arrived. When I called it was back to the number was no good.

On July 2, 08 I called to talk to Tina Archer; Supervisor and again I was spoken to rudely by" Sylvia" as she took my number and hung up again without letting me talk to her...

I am at my ends with and if you cannot help in this matter please direct me where to complain and get my insurance money of 200.00. I will have to swallow the shipping costs but someone has that chair and with no questions asked I would like it returned ASAP.

I am almost certain that someone does know about this missing package there in Indianapolis and does not want to cope to it. I have requested assistance from paypal on this matter and do not plan to drop this till the chair is found.

Circle K manager faye is a thief and liar

Avoid the manager of this store. She is a thief. Her name is faye. She tried to keep my lottery ticket. The drawing was for over 200 million dollars. I can't believe this woman is the manager of this store. How she is working behind the counter is beyond my comprehension. They have super shady employees working there. I have been buying my gas and lottery tickets there for 5 years now. Not any more. I am taking my business down the street. This woman named faye has an attitude problem is talking on the phone most of the time you go in the store, frequent smoke breaks outside and refuses to put receipt tape in the gas pumps for pay at the pump customers. She told me that is "not her job" to replace receipt tape in the gag pumps when its out. Unreal. Shes got long black skanky hair and thick glasses and has all the mannerisms of a man. Butch and fugly... Downright nasty person. Don't buy lottery tickets from this store or let her check any for you. She is a con-artist and a liar. She has sticky fingers and should be no where near a cash register. I confronted her about what she did and she lied. I don't know this person from adam. I never gave her any reason to treat me the way she has. There is something severely wrong with this woman. I called the headquarters in california and explained everything to them. It would not surprise me if they don't do a thing to her from the run around I got as most of these locations are individually franchised. I filed a report. It's all on camera. She should be fired and prosecuted. Her day will come. Avoid this store manager named faye in mill creek washington at 1700 132nd street southeast. You've been warned folks. Have a nice day.

My reply to my own complaint was an error from cut and paste for another comment section. oops. Looks dumb i know. No I'm not trying to make my complaint stronger. The truth is on my side however Zachary S. I'm not worried one bit about libel because it is the truth. Just giving a warning for any potential customers that may be checking their lottery tickets there. I just don't want to see other residents of the area get cheated. That is all.

Circle K racism

I went into purchase an item and there were two employees working in the store. One line was really long and in the other was only two people (I did not get in the line because I thought it was for lottery. I think other people did too which is why the one line was really long), one of which was already being waited on. This is a racism complaint, but I'm going to leave the color of skin out of this and just let it be known. When the one lady (of the same race as the employee) was done the other guy, who was a different race, approached the counter. The employee clearly yelled, "Can I help somebody" all the while this guy is standing there. A few people from other line realized that line had gone down and began to move into that line-The first two people to the line were of the same race as the employee. This employee then turned to the guy who had been standing there all along and said, "Heeeey, didn't you see these two people ahead of you?". This poor guy apologized and backed off, when he was the first one there to begin with. Stop with the hatred already! I'm so sick of it!

Circle K gross and unexceptable treatment of employees

I am an employee at circle k and would just like to issue this complaint. I am not sure of the exact laws as of this moment, but I know that the way I was treated / am being treated has to be illegal in some way. I woke up yesterday morning feeling terrible. I vomited three times in the thirty minutes I was getting ready for work. I am pregnant, and just blew it off as morning sickness even though I had never actually vomited before during this pregnancy. When I got to work, I started getting worse. I was running to the restroom every 10 minutes and started burning up. I tried to talk to the assistant manager to see if I could go home because my body was giving out, and she told me I could not. So I stayed.
After running to the rest room a few more times, she proceeded to tell me that she and the manager were "pissed off" at me and that I was no longer alou7d to go to the restroom to throw up because she had to "pick up my slack". Instead, I was told that I must use the trash can behind the counter. I was forced to ring up customers until I had to throw up, and then afterward continue ringing them up. I was the only one on the register, I had no help at all. This went on for the rest of the day. There was a point that the assistant manager said to me "i know you don't feel well but come on, this is enough! You need to stop!" like I could control my bodily functions.
I have also been getting harassing text messages from this assistant manager. This morning, I woke up feeling just as sick but vomiting maybe once every 20 minutes instead of 10. I called to see if I could stay home and she told me no, because she was coming in late and refused to come in a little early to help me. She told me to call the manager and that he would be extremely upset and probably cuss me out. So I tried to suck it up and continue getting ready for work. I threw up a few more times while getting ready and fell on the floor. My mother saw me and refused to let me go in like that, so she took my phone while I was vomiting and called the manager to tell him I would not be in. He was cordial to her, but a few minutes later I got a harassing text from the assistant manager saying "you are not a child, never have your mommy call the manager ever again!".
After this, I am refusing to return to work. I plan on calling hr and telling them about my incident. Hopefully these people will lose their jobs. I am so angry that even though I am extremely sick and throwing up, I am writing this in between. I am sorry, but with a fever o 102, my baby is in trouble. I will not risk the health of my child for a job that pays me minimum wage and treats me like an animal.

My time spent as an Employee with Circle K left me with such a negative view of how people in a setting of retail and service can possibly treat others in such a rude and unprofessional manner. I had the most courteous clientele it was management that needed a crash course in Customer Service 101. I was hired into the managerial position to be trained by existing store manager. She somewhat felt threatened that I would take over her position which was not the case I would have been assigned my own after training. I was never trained in store procedures I had to wait two days to get a simple computer password, comments such as I already have an assistant dirty looks when coming into the store and being shown the POS. There was my manager training, humiliating, I left after a month after discriminating comments no training and a store manager that did not want to train any one else but herself. Ugh. Revamp your management program.

I am an employee of Store #4011 in Fairmont WV . I have been employed now a little over 3 months and On Dec 4 2015. I was starting my 3rd shift an had to walk into a store that was very much in disarray and unacceptable to start my shift because of health and various equipment hazards upon starting my shift my fellow employees did not make any concessions to the store and left me without notifying me of the potential dangers that existed.. I proceeded to call the general manager to state the condition of the store and say that I will not start my shift because of the problems that were present. I was told to remove myslelf from the store. I have given the company my best since arriving as an employee for Circle K. I am a dedicated worker and a very good customer service associate. I feel was treated unfair by the management and fellow employees and, I know that the Circle K Organization would feel that this is not what you want to be known as a employer/employee that neglects the needs and health of other staff.. Please look into this situation because this may cause serious injury to someone in the future. I have been terminated for trying to inform the proper chain-of -command.. I feel that the corporate offices need to look deep into this store #4011 because there are a lot of things that needs to be address immediately before the store gets an bad rep, for treating staff and customers improperly. I truly hope that this is address sooner than later, Its is a problem that could possibly hurt the Circle K Brand...

just want to point out, having worked for circle k myself in the Denver area, he/she is not joking about the treatment of employees. management doesn't give a damn if you have a fever, are throwing up, just busted your leg, what have you, if you are employed by them, they expect you to be at work as long as you're still breathing. call ins are rejected, if you don't go in, you're fired on the spot the next day you can make it. not only that, but the over night crew more often than not gets the shaft, being expected to do 12 hours worth of work, in 8, and then being berated for it if your tasks aren't complete. also of note, if someone else is running your drawer, and it comes up short, you'll be held liable, as it's your drawer (i got around this with the fact that my drawer was only ever off when someone else was using it, but i've seen people fired for two bucks being lost as a result of too many people on a drawer, and only the person who's name was on the drawer was fired.)

My name is James I am a current circle k employee waiting to get fired... So this is what happened I make my 90 days have an outstanding review manger jumps ship. New manger comes in. Store comes up 11k short in product. Almost ameditly roomers spread that there plameing me for it.. So I look at schedule and my hours cut in half.. So I look at next weeks schedule and can't find it..? I latter that day found it hidden.. It shows that I'm off for almost 8 days..? So I think maybe it's just incomplete and go about my work. 2 days latter they kept me away from my assigned register most of the day with lots of dutys we're register was not visible. When was viable some one else was ringing on it. They finally have me close register at end of shift and it's 186$ dollars short. So I asume it's a mistake and not even thought 2 licks about it. 3 days latter they pull me into office and suspend me for 5 days..? The issue is the schedule never changed. I was scheduled for 8 days off befor the inca dent even happened... This leads me to believe Managment was in on it and ploted the whole thing. How could they know I was suspended befor anything even happened. Plus since I've been there I am lucky to have 1 day off a week. In addition they always have me on register because I'm fast, good at it, and don't get overwhelmed easily. So much so I never get to leve register to do chores. Ever now and then I'll get 2 min 2 power down a cig on a 8 to 10 hour shift with never a lunch break ever ever. And if you ask for one your told no then hazed and made fun of. There is just to many anomaly that lead me to believe new manger does not like me and is using me as an excape goat.

I spent 15 years In the Circle K system I went from a Sales clerk to a field rep. I did see some of what your talking about then. But when I got to a assistant and then store manager I was trained on harassment. I NEVER treated a co worker like that. If as a Assistant or Store manager or Field rep had heard of something like this and had proof It had happened HR would have not been called until after that Employee had been discharged. You have been harassed (If the statement above should be true) The Field rep should be called at once. No one can tell you you can't use the restroom. You should take the time off when needed. The only thing they can do Is ask for a doctors note. Yes your baby Is very important. I don't think Circle K would condone this at all.

Get a lawyer and sue them, individually as people and Circle K as a company. You will win.

YOUR BABY is what is important. Do not risk the health of your baby. Do nothing that will risk your pregnancy. You need to get a doctor... not to Circle K. Get a note written on a prescription pad, stamped and signed by the doctor... and take it with you when you go back to work at Circle K. And if they give you any trouble, be sure to take it with you when you go to your attorney's office.

@InnocuousPanda, I agree with all you said! Especially manager hours, I was off one half day one time, and i still had over 40 hours, but they docked my pay for the day i was off. It is amazing how much they expect to get out of you, yet if you get sick or anything else happens and sales start going down, they will not hesitate getting rid of you once they have gotten all they can out of you.
P.S. by the way, the EX-DM that got me terminated has been demoted to store manager again, LMAO, best news i have heard since i was termed, LOL

Circle K is an absolutely wretched company. It does nothing to investigate claims and allows shady stuff to go on all the time if the numbers are "good enough." One Market Manager has no idea how to do her job - essentially she sets unrealistic goals and gives no feedback on how to meet them. She gossips about people and tells managers assumptions she has made about their employees (assumptions that are not only irrelevant to the job but often completely erroneous). She will immediately accuse you of theft regardless of if there is any proof at all. She doesn't do any of the controls that are needed to make sure things are above board. There is blatantly unfair treatment that goes on and people become backstabbers just to cover their ###. She won't even do the basics of her job, something as simple as forwarding an e-mail so schematics can be correct unless called on it by a different division. She complains about stuff she has no idea about while the store has empty pegs for 4 different products because she ignored the 3 emails from the store asking her to please, please contact the product manager about the product being in a schematic but claiming to be delisted.

In addition is the fact that they show a okay hourly rate on the manager pay because they base it on 40 hours. However, managers are expected to work 53 hours and that is how they determine your actual wage. Take the MIT pay, multiply it by 53, and then give a 1-5% raise (but then divide by 40 so looks nice). So all these new managers are making almost the exact same hourly rate as they were when an MIT but with no OT now given. And of course if you have to cover shifts or work late your work week could become 70+ hours with no extra compensation but god forbid you fall below the 53.

I have talked to tons of former and current employees in various aspects of the company (SA, Manager, CSR, technicians) and I have literally only heard *one* person say anything positive about this company. There is zero oversight. One former manager use to be horrible and constantly tweaking his numbers and the MM was told repeatedly but she ignored it. Then he leaves the company and it is found his store is missing at least 10K in product. People have complained about the MM to higher ups and they do nothing because her husband was higher up in the company and protected her. She promotes an MIT to Manager who can't do 80% of his job because he doesn't know how and is incapable of learning. Instead she ignores it and tells other managers to "help him" and expect them to essentially carry a second store.

Circle K Refused gas purchase with $100 bill

Decemeber 22, 2010
Approx time: 10:05p. M.
Re: refused service because they cannot break $100 bill (Employee says "company policy")

I am a regular customer who fills up gas at circle k almost every evening because I travel apprx 50 miles to work. Tonight I forgot my debit card at home. However, I had 2 $100 bills with me, which they refused to break.

There are two registers in operations and 2 employees working, none of them were willing to provide service.
I specificly told them that my car wont hold more than $20.00 as it already has some gas in it. But they wont listen and said rudely "we are sorrry! It's company policy. "

I know they were lying and if not the company policy is defenitely ignoring customer satisfaction.

I will never go back to that store again and I would suggest the same to others.

Yeah this is normal. It’s for safety reasons also if a bunch people use large bills you run out of change fast. It normal IS company policy. So even if they wanted to accept it they could get in trouble for doing so. Plus, the attendants make hardly any money and you should keep that in mind when you lodge these kinds of complaints against them. They are not getting paid enough to have to put up with petty grievances. All you have to do is keep in mind that almost NO gas station in the US will accept large bills, so just deposit it first or break it at a grocery store…for everyone’s sake!

No convenience store operator would in their right mind break a 50.00 or 100.00 bill (unless they only needed to give 20.00 or less back). I was a clerk, assistant store manager store manager and a zone manager never did i ever allow my team to break a large bill. This Is for 2 reasons 1. So they don't get robbed The second reason is counterfeit 50.00 and 100.00 bills. Even If It meant losing the customer. Store safety Is number one. All stores at the time had a atm machine in them . As soon as the neighborhood finds out you have that kind of cash on hand you can count on increasing your odds in getting robbed by 75%.

Cheese with your whine?! We are not banks! MOST gas stations are not allowed to take 100 dollar bills due to safety reasons..and especially when you come in only wanting to spend 2 dollars! Just go get change pay for your gas and move the hell on!

"I WAS JUST ROBBED BY A CASHIER" i paid five dollars of gas and waited for the pump to turn on i waited for over about a half hour and no gas. I went in the store to talk to the cashier an i told him whats going on. He stated " I already pumped the gas an laughed at me and told me to get the f*** out of the store". I asked to have a customer service number so i can speak with someone about thgis ridiculous situation. He stated " He cant give it to me and said to come back in the morning. He never gave me my money back and nothing was done about the situation. This is the type of people they hire an have working at there store, i dont need to be wasting my hard earned money just to get robbed by a cashier suppose to be doing his job...

I've worked as a clerk, or "cashier" for three years now; and although that may not be a lot of experience in the business-it's enough to know company policy. And it is one hundred percent fact that the second and third shift are absolutely-not allowed to break any bills larger than a fifty. In another note, I've also heard complaints about employees getting money out of the safe to put in their register; but yet are unwilling to do the same process to break the customers bill. Well wake up, the safe is their for the employees register and the employees register only; so when they are running low on change to give customers through out their shift. It is not their so they can get into it, just to give you change for a one hundred dollar bill.

Yeah depending on how late it was, Circle K employees are only supposed to keep a certain amount of money in the drawer, I assume your probably going in during their 2nd or 3rd shift, both are not allowed to keep the amount of cash you would need as change in their drawers at any given point.

how would you feel if you were only supposed to keep 75 dollars in your drawer at a time and had a timed safe. you would only be able to vend every 4 minutes, and then, you were only able to vend 20 at a time. that takes nearly 20 minutes.imagine that poor cashier with a line around the store all because you were too lazy to stop at a bank. that's what they are for.

I have complained to the local corporate office about an employee named april who exemplifies everything that can be wrong with a cashier. Unfortunately they have failed to do anything about it, so I am posting this with her name in it. I have waited in line at her cash register behind four people only to have her place a closed sign on the counter and...

LOL, this is either a joke, or one of the worlds most stupids. Gees, get a life. And if you want to make it interesting, tell your husband what happened, and take him down to the Circle K and point the guy out to him.
Hope you enjoyed the fun.

Circle K overcharging debit card

We made a purchase in the store in the amount of $10.53. An extra charge for $70.00 showed up on my debit card statement. Another time, there was a $70.00 charge on my statement and we hadn't even been in the store. We are 6 days into trying to resolve this matter. There is no customer service number posted in the store. Emails and phone calls do not get any response. This is a terrible company to work with in trying to get a problem resolved. I would also suggest never swiping a debit card here.

Circle K rude employees / management

I used to go to this store on a daily basis for my beer and cigarettes, but not any more.

This store recently recieved a new manager (Not sure why) , and the faces behind the counter started changing right after that. One of the 'new' faces, violet, is totally rude. She never greets anyone when they walk in the door, never tells you what your total is, and then just shoves your change at you. I have called the manager (Dolly) and seen no change, except that they now have other 'new' faces in the store as well.

I have tried calling the 'district manager', and the 'customer hotline' number posted in the window, but it seems that it falls on deaf ears again.

I guess if I can encourage enough people to stop shopping there, maybe they will get the message.

So please do not shop at 43rd and maryland circle k. Or for that matter, any circle k store.

Circle K Management/poor employee treatment

My local Circle K this week has come under new management. I do not think I will frequent this business any longer.

The employees there are exceptional. They know your name, what you want or need and are always asking how you are.

Yesterday I was going into the store and the new manager was outside speaking on her phone. It was loud enough that I heard her accusing the employees of theft and saying how she was going to clean up house basically.

I don't know about the theft because I don't work there. I do know that the employees always seem honest. I know one day an older couple had left 40 dollars on the counter and the two employees were able to track them by an atm withdrawal from their bank and got them their money back. To me this is honesty and beyond the scope of their job.

This is also one of the cleanest circle k's i have been too. Yes it can get messy, but they are quit busy at times.

anyhow that is my complaint.

Management you should appreciate these employees they are good people and hard workers.

Circle K Sexual harassment

Bobby coplan (Copeland, coplin) is a grown man who works as a marketing management for the circle k's in the area surrounding memphis. He is a pervert. The man is married yet he threatens employees with their jobs for sexual favors. During economic times, this man has a long leash from circle k's upper management. There are no places I found to contact any type of boss of this man. I will be writing the commercial appeal, I have called drake and zeke from 98.1 yet they cannot use his name. The man's wife should know what a cheating low down pos she is married to and the fact that he has two sons only makes it more disgusting. I hope this man gets what is coming to him.

Corporate needs to look into these complaints. Customers should be treated fairly and kindly. Great employees should be rewarded for great work. And bad employees no matter their title should be handled properly. Store managers should be examples for how their staff should be and act.

About Circle K

Circle K is a multinational chain of convenience stores, offering a variety of products including snacks, beverages, tobacco, and grocery items. They also provide services such as fuel, car washes, and ATMs. Many locations are open 24/7, catering to customers seeking quick and accessible shopping options.
