It has been a week of calling agencies going to the cell c store at lakeside mall and emailing the customer service asking for assistance regarding my number [protected]) from the 2nd of july 2025. Trying to blacklist my stolen phone with the imei number (353204300711018) so can claim to my insurance and do a simswap. I can testify that i'm not not trying any fraud because this has been my number for 9 years and I once did a simswap on this number providing my details which are now invalid for it. I got several case numbers 507031499 and 507041751 and two more. Can a team leader or head of department look into this to help bypass and fix the issue, I have provided a completed backlisting form and a copy of my id as one of the consultants instructed me via the customer service email.
Claimed loss: 1 week of being stranded without a phone and my insurance will penalise me for late claim.
Desired outcome: Change of ownership of my number so i can be able to blacklist and do a simswap.
