Caribbean Airlines Refund not received

A ticket was purchased for January 2, 2021 to leave from Havana, Cuba. Unfortunately the government of Cuba shut down all flights. In May of 2021 we requested a refund since it was apparent that only flights financially benefiting the Cuban government would be leaving Cuba. Caribbean Airlines did advise it would take up to 5-6 months to process the refund. We are now almost to a year with no refund. When I contact the refund department of Caribbean Airlines they send an auto email that someone will call within 48 hours. Of course no one calls. When I call the customer service line then I get put on hold multiple times then ALWAYS eventually a disconnected line every single time. This is disrespectful and fraudulent. I want my money returned!

hi good afternoon how are you i travelled an from jak to pos through guyana on the bw526 an i went the the virgin lounge an when i reach the lounge the repesentive there told me there will be peoople coming to sewrve me . but no body did not there sevrved every body else but not me an not even give me an menu an i fell uncomfertable an not happy

Caribbean Airlines ticket refund

Good day,

I am writing to request an exercise of discretion with respect to the issuance of a refund in my favor with respect to the ticket referred to below.

I spoke with a representative who indicated to me that I needed to book on or before 10 April 2022. However I have been out of work for the past 2 years and since COVID restrictions are still currently enforced I will not be able to fund any travel in the near future.

I am specifically requesting the exercise of discretion in allowing this ticket to be refunded in light of these very challenging economic times .

Caribbean Airlines is my preferred choice of air travel and I have frequent flyer miles which is due to expire on 13 May 2022. But seeing that I have not worked for the past 2 years I am in need of the additional funds just to meet daily expenses and it has dawned on me to approach you for a refund of :-

Caribbean Airlines Damage luggage

On 3/15/22 at 7:30am, this writer was a passenger on flight BW521. When I checked in my luggages they were all in tact and not broken. When I arrived in Trinidad two of my luggage were broken. The luggage that was ripped at the bottom was purchased on 3/10/22. The other luggage one of the wheel was broken off. This writer checked in three luggages they were intact and not damaged. When I arrived in Trinidad two of my luggage was noted to be damaged. The luggage with XOX and lips, with the background black one one side and light pink is a set to 3 luggages. That set was purchased about 2 years ago. I don’t have the receipt. The luggage with the different color flamingos was purchased an 3/10. Please see attachment. Thanks

Desired outcome: I am expecting a full refund to replace my luggages because they could no longer function in the capacity they were purchased for.

Caribbean Airlines about my refund

my name is cheryl muelthaler. i purchase 3 tickets to trinidad and tobago back in july of the year 2020 and because of covid the flights were cancelled. i was told i couldnt get a refund but i tickets would be on hold. i then tried to rebook at a later date of the next year and again the same thing happen still covid. at that point i ask for my money to go back on my credit card and was told it would take about 6 months for that to happen. that would have in december of 2021...i am still waiting for my money. i recently spoke to a representative { rachelle } and she told me that she put in request for my refund and that she would call me back on tues 8th of march ...no call . i then called back and ask to speak to a supervisor and just like i expected no one was available to speck to me. can i please get some help with this matter.

I booked a ticket with your airline prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and was not able to take the trip because of the lockdown. I have made several attempts to get my refund and still have not received it. It has been 3 years that I have been waiting, this is unacceptable. Caribbean Airlines Refund of my monies

I have purchased a ticket from CAL in October of 2021 in which I was unable to travel due to Covid-19. I went through all processes necessary in which my final decision was for a refund. I was told that refunds take 7-20 days, however, 7-20 days, became 3 months, then 6 months, then 8 months, now 9 months.

Caribbean Airlines, customers shouldn't have to dog and beg behind you for their very own hard earned money. Everybody has been affected by Covid-19, not just you alone Caribbean Airlines.

Imagine having to beg for your monies and still beg for a response about the status of your refunds?

This kind of treatments towards customers is inhumane, you don't do people that.

I need my monies back into my account, and if I cannot pull the devil by the horns, I will pull him by the tail.

Dear Sir

I am writing here as I cannot get through to airline by phone. It is taking ever to get a response. I purchase this thicket for a friends wife online to travel from Guyana to SXM l on Dec 11th. This is flexible ticket. She came to the airport and customs stopped her traveling since she had imitation gold jewellery in her bag. So she could not travel and later cleared by customs as jewelry was actually imitation one. She does not know if Customs informed the airline in Guyana that she cannot travel. Please advise if she can use this ticket and travel on March 19th and pay any change charge. This is not her fault for not traveling. Could you please help.

I was promises a refund on my ticket but never got same , I made many attempt

via phone call to the head office but I got the run around, I know it covid time and this cause this problem but i am still waiting on the refund or credit. Caribbean Airlines Refund

Dear sir/ madam

I'm inquiring about a refund that should have been issue some time ago but for some reasons it was not.

I'm referring to one Naraine persaud with reference No. 4SAI7J. The refund is been issued because the name of the client is not the same and was a mistake on my part.

Please i have been inquiring about this issue for quite a while now and nothing has been done. I received an email some time back stating that i will be fully refunded within 7-10 working days, that was About 3 weeks ago.

I really need this issue to resolve ASAP so i can repurchase a new ticket before the seats are gone.

Relative entrust one envelop to take Guyana. Upon arrival i discover lock broken and contents missing which had $300,000 guy.

Caribbean Airlines Money for a pcr test that was never done - january 17th, 2022

I had a covid test done and when i go to the Airport to check in on January 17th, 2022. The agent said the Covid test is going to expired when I reach Georgetown, Guyana. I was asks to paid the amount of $85.00 to do another covid test upon arrival at Cheddi Jagan Internation Airport. Guyana. When i arrived in Georgetown, Guyana and enquire about getting the Covid test done. I was told I have no need to do another Covid test. The one that i used to check in is still valid.

Caribbean Airlines My flight didnt come straight to New York from Trinidad and I had to pay extra

My flight from Trinidad and Tobago was January 18th, 2022 entering into New York for January 19th, 2022. The flight I was on was BW520, in which had to take and emergency landing in Virginia. I had to pay $357.21 + (tax) $41.39 = $398.60, along with $70 for my luggage to come through altogether equaling $468.6, to be able to go back home to New York (JFK). I would love to get a refund back because I didn't have a connecting flight it was supposed to be straight.

o the 13th of January 2022 my Flight from Tobago to Trinidad was delayed when i got o the aircraft about 20 mons they told us we have to disembark because there's an Issus with the aircraft. however we got back ito the Terminal Buildng and i have a Connected flight with American Airline to Miami the time i get to Trias my flight was goanna. so i ask the lady at the counter what im i to do she told me there's noting she can do about it because i is Ameran airline fault is that supposed to be Caribbean airline fault because they Couse me to issued my flight to Miami. she was very rude to me and turn to me and said sh cant help me me. they treated me very bad i need some answers i slept in the airport to get on my flight to Maimi in the 14th jan.2022. so i need you to call me at [protected] Tyson Gray is my name .hope to here from you ASAP. this is not how you treat human been.

we were booked to travel 03/15/2020 but were unable to because of'Covid' outbreak. We wanted a refund but were told that a voucher would instead be issued to be used by the end of 2020. Because the Airline discontinued flights into Kingston from ft. Lauderdale, I would like to be refunded the $715.90 I paid or a voucher be issued for another Airline travelling to that destination by 02/15/2022 if possible, I would be very grateful! thanks. Caribbean Airlines Flight refund

I booked a fight from MBJ to JFK NY back in 2020 for myself and my friend. (VG8JBO). The airline changed the flight that was departing 12/26/20 at 5:50pm to departing at 10:30am. At the time we needed to be at the airport 4hrs early and it's about an hour to travel to the airport from our hotel. I spoke with a representative who, it's management's approval, agreed to cancel the flight as that change was not reasonable for us and refund us money. I've called and chatted with representatives numerous times over the last year. They kept telling me it would be refunded but I have not seen the refund yet. It was $241.34 per person and a total of $482.68.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund as I’ve waited over a year for it.

Caribbean Airlines Direct flight issue. Return from Georgetown Guyana to YYZ Toronto. Jan 1st 2022

Good morning, to whom it may concern,

I booked a direct flight with a Travel Agency, Caribbean Airlines reservation # 4AVLN9 (BW). The flight was to depart from YYZ Toronto, to Georgetown Guyana on December, 25th, 2021at 10 am. All went well on this portion Flight # BW 0613

The challenge came when we were to depart from Georgetown, Guyana on January 1st 2022 at 1:25am, Flight # BW 612. My friend Susanna was informed of the flight departing time, changed from 1:25 am to 1:45am, Jan 1st 2022. Upon check in, I was advised that the flight will need to stop over in Trinidad due to fuel and weight issues, and boarding pass Flight # changed to BW607 from BW 0612, which was originally booked. The check in representative advised, we will stay on that same plane for about an 1 1/2 hr. and then leave from Trinidad, back to YYZ Toronto.

Upon arriving in Trinidad, Jan 1st, 2022, I and the rest of the passengers were now advised that, we needed to disembark from this plane. The understanding was that the flight into Trinidad, we needed to change planes. I had to go through customs once again in Trinidad and then waited in the lounge until the new plane was ready. This was around 5am Trinidad time. We then boarded this plane and it took off. .We landed at YYZ Toronto around 10:10am Jan 1st 2022

My originating ticket on my return flight # BW 0612, was a direct flight from Georgetown Guyana leaving at 1:25am and landing at YYZ Toronto at 7:05 am, January 1st 2022. This was paid in full with this understanding, as per an email received from Caribbean Airlines.

Not sure why this confusion took place and would like to receive a proper explanation, as I have travelled before with this Airline just recently in November 2021, and all was well.

I am looking to receive a fair compensation, to the above confusion that Caribbean Airlines created, causing a delay of arriving at YYZ Toronto, Jan 1st 2022, approximately 3 hours later, than what was originally confirmed by email and the original booking.
