Check bags
Hello name is Claudia Davy my flight was on the 17th of august 2021 From JFK to KIN my flight was delayed due to weather conditions but my bags were already checked on that date thought my flight was rescheduled for the 18th of august. when I arrived to Kingston JM, one of my check bags were missing I was told that when my luggage is found they would deliver it to my Jamaican address. I called the local baggage department everyday no on picked up, after 13 days I finally got through and was advise to come and pick up my bag. upon arrival I noticed that they could not locate my bag after waiting for a few hour, I was told that someone had just returned my bag. I noticed my bag was partially not the same size, when I opened it some items were missing such as: wigs, clothing, shoes, supplements and stationaries, colognes etc. I've been trying to call but was advised to file a complaint. my contact number is : [protected] or [protected]. Thank you.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for my missing items and inconvenienced.

Cancelled Flight without Refund
My partner and I booked a trip to Kingston, Jamaica November [protected] with Caribbean Airlines, booking reference numbers 3EQ7OG & 3IUEY3. Caribbean then changed our return flight to November 16, which forced us to cancel the trip. Because the airline cancelled our original flight, they indicated that we would receive a full refund.
At the time, we were told that the refund would take about 4 months. Four months later, we were told the refund could take up to 8 months. It has now been 9 months since the cancelled flight and we have not received our refund. We have contacted the airline 4-5 times and each time are told to check back in several months.
Nearly 1 year after this cancelled flight the airline appears to have no intention of refunding our tickets, which were $448.97 each.
Desired outcome: Refund in full
I am writing an update of this complaint to report that it HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. Neither my partner nor I have received our promised refund from Caribbean Airlines. For this complaint to be marked as "investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction" is highly dishonest and deceitful to myself and other customers.
After my complaint above I received the following email:
Good Morning Ms. Walker,
Thank you for taking the time to communicate with us. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused on this occasion.
We wish to assure you that Caribbean Airlines is committed to refunding eligible tickets in a timely manner. However, refunds may take longer than our usual refund timelines given the current volumes and other impacts of COVID-19. We note that your refund is in the final stages of processing. You will be contacted once completed.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support as our refunds team continues to actively work to facilitate your requests.
Once again, we would like to extend our apologies.
Sincerely,
XXX XXXX
It is now more than 11 months since our flight was cancelled with the promise of a full refund, which neither of us have received. Each phone call is ended with a promise to return my call "shortly" with an update, but this update has never materialized. The airline's behavior in this circumstance is outrageously unprofessional.

Overweight fees
To whom it may concern, My name is Latchmin Naraine
DOB - Sept 2nd 1959- Flight # BW628 - date August 17
On August 17 I was a passenger boarding at Cheddi Jagan airport Guyana to Toronto Pearson airport.
At Cheddi Jagan Airport I was carrying 3 suitcases which I paid for, as they said the fees was not included in the ticket price although my ticket was close to 1900.00 . I was called at the counter by this Indian woman sitting at the last desk to the right, she was the last person on that counter ( I did not get her name as she was not wearing a batch at the time), she told me to put all 3 suitcases on the scale, then she said there is 20 llbs overweight which I was positive I didn't have any overweight. I insist for her to weighed each suitcase separately and she refused and did not want to do it. She insist I paid $75.00 US dollars for the overweight by cash or else I will not be able to board the flight.
Frustrating I paid her and she disagree to issue a receipt for the cash I paid then proceed to hand over the cash to one of the porter guys. I paid for the other 3 suitcases by visa which I have attached. I am requesting a refund and hope to hear from Caribbean airlines soon.

Refund for flight on January 21st 2021
Booked Flight N0 14 for January 21st 2021. Flight was from JFK airport to Montego Bay Jamaica WI. 2 weeks before departure was informed that Caribbean Airlines was no longer going to Montego Bay but to Kingston.
I was not going to Kingston and Caribbean Airlines did not offer any way as to how I will get to Montego Bay.
The flight was therefore canceled and a Refund was to be refunded into my account. As of this date 08/23/2021 I have not received my refund. This is totally unacceptable.

Refund that was requested 12/31/2020
Name: Wendy Walters
E-mail address: [protected]@hotmail.com
Due to Covid-19 my flight that was scheduled to leave JFK to POS on April 9th 2020 (BW 551) was cancelled. So I waited with the hope that I will still be able to travel within the year. On Dec 31th 2020 I decided to call CAL to see what my options were, they offered me a voucher which will be good until Jan 2022 and said that if I choose this option that I will not be able to request a refund after, my other option was to request a refund that will take 40 - 90 days which I accepted and requested. I called again on April 1st 2021 which was exactly 90 days later and was told that my request is still pending and I should give it some more time. I called again on May 14th 2021 and was told that they couldn't find my file and that they need to file a claim to request my file which will take 3 days. I called again on May 20th and was told that they are still working on my refund. Another call was placed on June 4th 2021 and was told by a Ms. Terryann that due to high volume it may be a 6 months wait from Dec 31st 2020. Ms Terryann said that she will speak to her supervisor about my claim and will call me after receiving a response from her supervisor. I still haven't received a phone call yet from anyone. I called again on July 19th 2021 (199days later) and was told by a Ms. Donna Maria that they are still waiting for my refund. I called again on Aug 6th 2021 and was on hold for over 40 mins and no answer from anyone. Called again today Aug 20th 2021 and was told to hold on and was disconnected then I tried a different department and was to by the automated service to go online at caribbean airlines to make a complaint.

Flight 458 july 18/21 4x4vcw
On July 18, 2021, I boarded Air Canada flight 966 from Toronto Pearson Intl, destination Bridgetown, Barbados. To get a connection with the Caribbean Airline flight 458(4X4VCW) to Antigua. The Air Canada flight 966 left Toronto
Pearson Intl. 41 minutes late, therefore, arriving in Bridgetown, Barbados late.
I was not able to get the connecting with the Caribbean Airline flight 458 as they left on time leaving me stranded at the airport. They were no agents at
the counter of Caribbean Airlines to advise me. I was informed by other agents
at the airport that they would not be another flight to Antigua until July 22nd or 24th. An agent from LIAT Airlines intervene on my behalf and assured me
there is a possibility I could get a flight with LIAT Airlines the next morning July 19th to Antigua if I am at the airport by 6 am. I had to secure hotel accommodation that night and paid LIAT Airlines $444US for the flight to Antigua, with stops in Grenada, St.Vincent, and St.Lucia. I am seeking reimbursement for all costs incurred. Receipts are available upon request.

Unissued Refund
Date:07/26/2021
To: Caribbean Airlines Refund Department.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I the undersigned am hereby filing a complaint about the unusual long waiting time for my refund.
I have requested my money back for a very long period now. To date haven't received my refund on tickets I purchased since the last year 2020. I have called the office many times about my request and everytime an agent keeps saying it has gone for process and, that may take a little longer because of the high volume of refunds requested.
To date, I haven't received any positive word about when I will obtain my refund. I have read the refund statement online and it has stated 7 to 20 business days.
I am not traveling anywhere now and I need all my money back.
I am prepared to go further to get my money back. It has been long enough and if I don't get a response from Caribbean Airlines, I have no other choice but to seek alternative assistance.
Below are my tickets number

Ref 2X57yh- cost of 4 tickets to Jamaica
I booked a flight for my family of 4 December 2019 to Kingston, Jamaica over $2000. The flight was for April 2020. Due to covid and travel restrictions the flight was canceled by the airline. I was given a date of December 2020 by which I should reschedule my flight. I called Caribbean airlines end of November to inform them of some of my financial difficulties as well as the still existing restrictions to travel due to covid. The agent promised me a return call to resolve the issue...none was received. I relocated and tried to connect with the airlines to determine resolution. They said they cannot find my reference number. I was issued a new reference number and a call back promise of 48 hours. It has now been a week and no call back.

Airline ticket Refund
On July 20 2020, I have requested a refund from Caribbean Airline. I received a confirmation email saying it has gone to process and, that process will take 45 days or a little longer because of the high volume of refunds requested.
It has been almost 1 year and I'm still waiting for a refund. I have made numerous phone calls and also sent emails to the refund department but to no avail.
It is long enough and if I don't get a response from Caribbean airline, I have no other choice but to seek alternative assistance.

I had a similar problem with Caribbean Air. They cancelled my flight and promised a full refund. Months went by, and after a few calls to the airline, I got tired of getting the run around. If your light originated in the US, file a complaint with the US Department of Transportation online. It will take a week or two, but they will contact the airline officially and cc: you on the correspondence. rom the date of filing, I got my refund in 8 weeks. You might think that's a long time, but look how long you have been waiting for the Airline to do the right thing.
Delayed Flight of Suitcase and Damaged Products
I recently got back from a trip on June 17, 2021 using Caribbean Airlines expecting my suitcases to come back with me but my suitcases didn't make it on the flight along with many other people. I had to wait 2 full nights for my suitcases to arrive in NY from Guyana on June 19, 2021. Caribbean Airlines never once mentioned there was a problem with the flight for the suitcases until we arrived in NY and nearly half of the suitcases didn't come off the plane because they were left in Guyana. I brought back parcels of frozen foods for my family that needed to be thrown away after I spent all that money since we don't get some of those foods here. That all went down the drain and it wasn't just me, a lot of other people went through the same as well. All my suitcases were damaged and also had to be thrown away. I was told that I can be able to claim back for everything and that's exactly what I hope to be able to do and get my money back. Caribbean Airlines needs to step up their game and get back on track instead of causing problems for so much people. Definitely don't think I will be booking back with Caribbean again, what they did was not right and no one should experience this.

Requesting travel voucher for tickets purchased pre-covid19
Good afternoon, I would like to get feedback on the process for acquiring a travel voucher for two tickets purchased last year for my son and I to travel to Trinidad in April 2020 to participate in a junior tennis tournament. I went to the V.C. Bird Int'l Airport today and enquired on the process and was advised by the helpdesk that I needed to call the 800 #. I called the 800 # and was advised by the automated answering service that I needed to file a complaint via this medium.
Due to the onset of COVID19 the T&T Tennis tournament was cancelled. At the time the flights were cancelled, I was advised that I would get credit towards future travel on Caribbean Airlines. The E-ticket numbers are 106-[protected] and 106-[protected] in the names of Peter Quinn and Giovanni Quinn respectively.
It would be very unfortunate if I could not get credit toward future travel given that the cancellation of the travel itinerary was through no fault of mine but due to COVID19.
Please advise.
Desired outcome: Travel voucher towards future travel

Request of Refund not received
On Wednesday June 17th, 2020 I purchased a one-way ticket from POS Trinidad to YYZ Toronto departing July 18th, 2020. The flight was cancelled due to COVID-19, however I was not informed of the cancellation. I contacted Caribbean Airlines after hearing from a fellow passenger on the flight that there would be a flight on morning of July 17th, 2020. I contacted Caribbean Airlines on the week of July 13th, 2020 and I was informed by the representative on the phone that there was indeed a flight on the 17th but I need to be added to a list and where I will be contacted. On July 15th, 2020 I contacted Caribbean Airlines to get feedback on the flight. I was told my name was not on the list of passengers as only farm workers were eligible to be on the flight. I immediately requested a refund. I was told by the representative I will receive my refund in 90 working day. I booked a flight with another airline which departed on July 17th, 2020.
Numerous calls were made to Caribbean Airlines after the 90 working day period. To this day I have not received my requested refund.
