Captain D's service, food and how the complaint was handled

Me and my wife and child went to Goose Creek Captain D's and was very disappointed in everything.

First off there was not a baby changing station in the mens or women's restroom. Pretty bad when other restaurants have those and Captain D's just doesn't care.

Secondly our order was wrong my child was supposed to have mac and cheese and fries but we were given broccoli with mac and cheese.
My wife was supposed to have broccoli but was served green beans. Her fried fish was undercooked, how hard is it to fry fish.
Also I ordered the white fish with shrimp skewer with mac and cheese and corn. My corn was cold and I did not receive my shrimp until halfway into the meal when I discovered my fish was undercooked as well.

Thirdly the sauces at the counter was completely emptied. The sitting re a was dirty and trashed. Paper towels and sauce cups thrown all over the floor. My pregnant wife almost slipped while getting her drink because they left a huge puddle of water on the floor by the drink dispenser.

When I asked for sauces to be replaced and the floor to be mopped with a wet floor sign they said they will get to it. THEY NEVER DID.
Whenever I told them I needed shrimp they replied oh you did have shrimp. By the time they got the shrimp and broccoli out to us we were so disappointed. They then said we would have to wait until the line went down. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE ARE YOU PROVIDING?
I'm very disappointed in this establishment and will be spreading the word on how HORRIBLE this place is.

Captain D's service and product

5 months pregnant and got a 3 piece battered fish meal. Not only did they get my sides wrong(and cold), halfway through my fish I saw that it was undercooked. There was a spill in the dining room that nobody came to clean, and no wet floor sign. If I get food poisoning or something happens to my baby from this awful experience, Captain D's will be hearing from my lawyer.

Captain D's food /service

I was at the Stockbridge store around 7pm on May 2, 2019. The service was slow and the cashier had a little attitude as if they didn't want to be at work . Once got food the fries were cold appeared to be very old and fish had a old taste like grease was old and had been sitting I ordered a family meal with fries and corn and customers shouldn't have to deal with that type of service when ordering food. I will not return to that store again.

Captain D's service

Went to Captain Ds in Birmingham, AL crestwood Blvd. Ordered two popcorn shrimps only got one. I went to tell them and the lady called the manager over who told me that I had poured all of them in one box and threw the box away. But I had been standing there the whole time. Then I asked for a receipt and she told me she had already given it to me. But she hadn't.

Captain D's false advertising and a very poor restaurant

On Monday 04/22/2019 I received a flyer in the mail that Shrimp Scampi was back NOW at Captain D's, On Thursday I go to the Captain D's in Overland, Missouri on Page Blvd and tried to order Shrimp Scampi and the worker advised me in a very rude way they were not cooking that until next month. Since I refer this Captain D's the worst Fast Food Resturant in Missouri I know that don't make since but they are the rudest and have the worst attitude of any business I know. Keep going back praying you folks have straighten this out by now but this place must not hold much of an importance to you. You can pretty much ask what is the worst Captain D's in this area and you will be told without Question the one on Page. I then went to the one in St. Anns, Missouri on St. Charles Rock Road and ask them about the Shrimp Scampi and they were very professional but was unaware of any Shrimp Scampi advertisement. I know it states at participating locations only, can you please let me know where the participating locations are so I can get some shrimp scampi. It states its back so where is it back at. Should I continue thinking this is false advertisement and proceed further. Please email the locations to [protected]@gmail.com

Captain D's kept getting my order wrong

I visited captain ds in west Memphis ar with my family 4/20/19 at 21:24 I ordered a shrimp (4) with. The clams had to send my order back 3 times before finally getting my order in pieces I also ordered a 4 pc fish with mac & chz. And okra was never offered apology very disappointed I drove 5 hrs to come home just to eat there and this is the treatment I received can be reached at [protected]@yahoo.com

Captain D's I am complaining on the rude managers an she had

I was excited cause finally got my 500 points. Well when I ordered instead of telling me that my order was over the limit, she rudely told me I must not have the points. Then rudely basically I was a. Problem & she didnt wanna deal with it. So I went to my car and got everything figured out. I was hungry and had no money. So I went back in she rolled her eyes and I showed her I had it fixed well I was trying order she rushed me and I didnt even get what I wanted. I was totally embarrassed in front of people. She does not need to be working with the public. I have worked with the public for 28 years. I felt discriminated against. I felt this needed to be brought to your attention. I eat there 3 or 4 days a week. Today I went thru drive thru, what I ordered thry said the was out told me order something else didnt give me a min to look rushed me again, so I just left. This really upsets me. And its just not good bussiness! Thank for your time.

Captain D's two piece fish with two sides

Yall need to tell Captian D's in Forestdale Alabama that they need to change their grease that cook the fish in bc My husband and myself have had the worse gas. From both ends. Our burps taste like a our farts. Get it together Foresrdale Alabama captain D's. I'm still tasting it from two days ago. I love the food but we won't be paying for farts and acid reflux food again. Change the grease please. Thanks have a great day

Captain D's service

I ordered our food by phone...10 piece family meal with 5 extra pieces..at 5:07 pm my husband was coming in then and it is now 6:00pm and no food! It's a mad house inside the store. No organization at the Oneonta AL store at all. If he DOES EVER GET OUR ORDER I hope it's going to be correct. We spend all day at the ER and all are hungry and tired and do not appreciate it taking so long to get it.

Captain D's raw food & unsanitary workers

My Name Is Sade' Rembert and I Visited The Five Points West Location On Saturday April 6, 2019. I Ordered A Grilled White Fish Meal With Double Broccoli and Lemon Pepper As My Seasoning For The Fish. When I Got My Food It Incorrect. It Wasn't Blackened. Once I Told Them My Meal Was Incorrect They Literally Gave Me My Food Within 5 Minutes Which Let's Me Know That My Fish Wasn't Fresh. Ok. So As I Get In The Car & Proceeded To Eat My Fish Was Still Raw In The Middle & My Broccoli Was Burnt. Not Only Was I Not Satisfied With The Food But Also I Wasn't Satisfied With Them Putting My Lemon Pepper Fish In The Same To-Go Plate. I Knew It Was The Same Plate Because The Inside Of It Still Had Blackened Seasoning On The Inside. After That I Didn't Have Time To Go Back In So I Just Finished Cooking It At Home.

Captain D's Missing food and food employee

Today is my husband's birthday and my son went to get the whole family dinner, to my dismay when he got home the birthday guy did not get any food and my order was wrong and no cocktail sauce was put in our bag, this all happened in the drive thru. I called Captain D's when they returned home to let them know of this matter I asked to speak to a manager the worker came back to the phone in less than 10 second's and told me the manager was busy could she take a message? I said absolutely not my son just spent $65.00 at that point I was put on hold after 26 minutes I hung up. My son went back up there ( what a big inconvenience ) and there two employees and a manager doing the cooking, my son said there liquid from drink machine all over the floor. This has been the worst experience! Second time around my husband was asleep and never ate his birthday dinner and my side's were again wrong. My e_mail is [protected]@gmail.com

Captain D's fried fish

Having eaten at this particular restaurant for many years, my most recent experience was, on a scale from 1 to 10, sadly, a 0. The staff appeared to all be teenagers, dressed as though they all just walked out of goodwill and one old man delivering the food to the tables who could barely make it across the room. I had to repeat our order no less than three times, and the young man taking the order finally replied "sorry, i'm tired. I've been working here all day."what?! A full day's work causes memory loss in our younger generation now?! On top of everything else, while we thought we were ordering a snack size meal, our tab (with only 1 drink) was over $18! By that time, I didn't argue and paid for my order. Now the worst part. The fish was totally under-cooked, and when I sent it back, it came out exactly the same way the second time! So, my wife and I figured it was just us until an elderly lady customer walked over to our table and asked "was your fish cooked well enough? Ours was far from done." we told her ours was the same and she then approached a third table who told her the same thing. If chic-fil-a is a "top of the line" fast food restaurant, and I think it is, you cannot get much further from the other end of the spectrum with this restaurant in matthews, nc. And if that is not bad enough, one week has gone by and the "owner" who was supposed to call me to get more details, has yet to call. I'm not holding my breath, but he can bet i'll be spreading the word far and wide about this experience.

Captain D's wait time is unacceptable and food quality has gone down.

I have given captain d's chance after chance to please me. The location closest to me is in corinth, mississippi.in the past, I use to work at two different franchises. I am familiar with the overall routine of the establishment. I don't mind waiting 5 to 7 minutes for 2 hot meals. But more than once this has not been the case. Today I waited 15 minutes for one cheesecake (no prep), a order of mozzarella sticks, and one fish and fry meal. I had to repeat my order 2 or 3 times to the cashier. My ticket says her name is mavis. My lunch break is 30 minutes. I didn't think it would take that long for the small amount of food that I asked for. And the location was not even that busy. I have so many more complaints. But I know people are human and we all mistakes. I won't even vocalize those complaints on this forum. But I will say i've lost faith in this chain. The service is not prompt anymore. The portions have decreased drastically, but the prices have increased. I get eye rolls for asking for sauce or fresh food. Today was just the last straw. I'll never be back. But I wanted to take the time to write a review.

Captain D's wrongful termination

My name is tamika lucky, rn, and I am the aunt of nashiyah nyree johnson, whom had been employed by your company for more than 1 year. She was wrongfully terminated last week due to a rude customer harassing her 2 consecutive days due to personal reasons unrelated to the job. My niece is a minor and this lady is an adult. The customer had visited the drive thru a day prior to her returning a 2 nd time but this time, she entered the store in a threatening manner when the local law enforcement should have been called. The customer was upset because she "claims" nashiyah had a bad attitude and would not open up her sandwich to see if the cook put tartar sauce on it. Nashiyah informed her of the infection control policy and asked the lady if she would look and then she could inform the cook if it was not prepared as she had requested. The adult began cursing and threatening my niece. The manager on duty was not present to witness what actually happened and later came out to assess the situation but ended up gossiping with the customer about my niece and her personal life. Nashiyah was not given the opportunity to explain to crystal miller what took place nor was she interested. Nashiyah has never been reprimanded her entire employment with captain d's and for her to lose her job because she is a young pregnant teen is very discriminating and mind bothering. Nashiyah did not deserve such action to be taken against her. The manager lied that she overheard nashiyah speaking with an attitude to the customer when she was not even present to know what took place. Crystal stated it was policy to let her go but is it also company policy for any employee/management to be under the influence of drugs? How can one enforce a policy without the proper steps being taken prior to someone losing his or her job? If ms. Crystal miller wants to abide by policy then she needs to request to be tested for street drugs and have herself removed. I will be contacting an attorney regarding this matter. I am deeply saddened that higher management would authorize someone to rid a person whom has never caused any problems on her job. That particular customer is a liar and should've been removed from the premises by the police for threatening a child/employee. Employees don't deserve to feel unsafe on his or her job. I am irate how things were handled!

Please check your spelling and subject verb agreement prior to posting, BenchBoy! Anyway, thanks for providing additional info to help my legal case. There is no need to hide behind a fictitious name because I listed mine with no problem at all because I am a professional and by no means fear none. We all make decisions in our personal lives that may benefit or hinder us and the one Nashiyah made was like the one your mother probably did, I'm sure. The old saying is, "A hit dog will do what, hollar?" Nashiyah is engaged to be married and has a prominent future ahead of her in college. Do your research to see how many successful people became pregnant at an age otggrr than 30 and still living a blessed life as she is. People are only offended when they have been exposed. When someone speaks the untruth it does not bother me nor my family members. We are honest people and will continue to be that way. Things will be resolved in court.

Oh the manager did not over hear the whole talk. She did not hear her say she would spank and whip me. she only heard me say i would spit in her food. and call her an ugly old hag. She is an ugly old hag so I am not lying. She is like 30. The other workers said that I was rude to her and that i have attitude and that I gavve them attitude. I am being discriminated against because I am pregnaent . That loser Crystal is discriminating against me and so is everyone. I hate them all and I will have my aunt sue them and they will shut the restaurant down and Crystal and all those other losers will be eating from the garbage becase they won't have money and will be homeless. Same with that old hag that threatened to spank and whip me. She will be chared with assault and live on the streets because we will sue her so mych that she has no money for foood.

Captain D's Service

On February 24, 2019 around 7:40 P.M. my wife and I visited the Captain D's on Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA. I placed an order in the drive-thru for 1 Captains Giant Fish sandwich. I ask for cheese only, no tarter sauce. We waited in line for close to 20 minutes. When we got to the window the girl ask if I wanted it plain and I repeated that I wanted no tarter cheese only. She hollered up to the cook to add a piece of cheese. 15 minutes after leaving I opened the bag and saw a handful of lettuce thrown into the bag and the sandwich that was in a styrofoam box had no cheese. I get that they may have forgot to add cheese to the sandwich, but why was lettuce thrown into the bag on top of my order? The sandwich was not ate and we will not visit this location again nor will we recommend it to family or friends.

Captain D's food

I had order a grilled skewer shrimp with loaded baked potatoes and broccoli with chocolate cake . I didn't receive my chocolate cake and call to see if I can get it since they just closed and I lived down the road . They let me get my chocolate cake . My broccoli and cheese came with three small broccoli not the required broccolis and cheese I should received. They barely gave me rice and The baked potatoes didn't look like a baked potatoes. I was not filled and still hungry for not getting enough broccoli and rice I should have got .

Captain D's customer service/ hygiene

No hair nets smacking of gum not washing hands after touching face and hair. Taking long time for people to get food. Employees keep walking out the doors smells like smoke when trying to talk and complain. When training a person they kept walking away from person they was training. A lady was working in the back around food with no hairnet or any protect from hair falling in food.

My Black History Month Message for Captin D's

This is Black History Month. My mother marched with Martin Luther King Jr. Her hope was that marching would bring about a change. I never would think in 2019, I would be denied service at a fast food restaurant.
During my visit to the above location, I presented a coupon at the drive through window. I was told that they did not accept coupons on a mobile device. I went in to speak to the manager. She stated that they did not accept the coupons unless it was the actual paper copy. I requested the phone number for the corporate office. I was told that they did not have their phone number. I would only have to speak to her. I requested her name. She wrote her name on a torn off piece of recite paper (which I have.)
I went to the car and called my husband and asked for him to bring the paper coupon. He came to the restaurant with the paper coupon. We walked inside. He sat down and I approached the counter. I place the coupon and my credit card on the counter. I was then told by the young lady at the counter they were denying me service. My response was, "what?!" She pointed to the sign on the wall that read, "We have the right to deny service to anyone." She then walked away.
I turned the recorder on my cell phone on. My husband did the same thing. We recorded them messing someone's order up in the driver through window and arguing with the customer when the customer tried to correct it. The manager then demanded my husband stop recording and told us that we had 1 minute to leave, or she was calling the police. I quietly stated, I would wait for the police and sat down.
I went to the door when the police arrived and spoke with them. They requested my ID. We took the information of the officers that handled the call. They told me that I would have to leave, because the owners were requesting that I leave.
Since this happened, another African Americna male has come forth about the same thing happening to him at this location. He went through the driver though at the same location. They got his order wrong. He requested a refund. They refused to give him a refund and told him that he was no longer allowed at their location.

I have video of me being ordered out of the store and police being called. I have video of the police. I have video of them argueing with another customer after getting their order wrong. I have another African American male who was denied service from this same location.

Captain D's service

On feb 2 2019 I was at your resturant around 7pm after being in line for ovrr 30 minute I place order and was rudely told we dont have corn, salald, or mac and cheese. Wow why r you open. I get to the pick window and three was asked my order. Get my order after waiting snothrt 15 minute asks for tater sajce and shrimp was to. D they dont have any. At this point im done snd asked for the mgr. Sbe comes to ghe window wigh attitue stating tbey were shlrt stafffed. I ask ehat ha e to do with youll nog having what paying customer r asking for? She told the cashier [censored] her and close the window and thats what the cashier done. I pulled off very upset drives 15 home a half of my order was missing after I told them 4 times what my order was. Now im I go all the way back had to wait in line another 20 mknute the cahiers said pull around. Anothoer customer was upset as well. The cook hollered and told me I need get bsck in line and wait my turn. At this point I went off. I to, d him I dont know who hou think you r talking but get food now this trip has slready took over a hour. This was the worst service I have in my life. It llike this everytime you go to this location. I will not go back to this location the sad part is I love the food. I will say tbe cashier was very nice and she apolizes serveral times. The otber employee there should be terminated. The wait time was so bad about 6 cars pulled off. Its called lost profit. Hope ghings change at this location beczuse these people represent captain d

Captain D's customer service

Events from our visit on February 1st at 8:00 PM. While taking my wife and son to the Wetumpka, AL location, I noticed as we entered the parking area there were 3 cars that had pulled forward and waiting on their orders. A 4th car at the window, and 2 cars waiting in the drive-thru to place their order. As we entered the store a customer was at the counter receiving her order and upon checking their order, they complained that the order and sides were not correct, but after being obviously frustrated they said nevermind and left with the order. While waiting to place our order and basically being ignored, you could hear and see who I assume was the manager telling from the kitchen to other employees about being feed-up and ready to walk out and didn't care about any damn body complaining. At that point a customer walks up from the dine in area and stating that they didn't receive their fries with the order. The cashier yells back to the kitchen 2 orders of fries are needed. The manager yells back from the kitchen "WHAT FOR". The cashier hands her the customer's receipt to the manager and you can hear the manager yelling there are no fries on this order and hands the receipt back to the cashier. The cashier hands the receipt back to the customer and says you got slaw not fries. The customers politely says no mam, I requested fries with both orders and the cashier says "No I have slaw on the receipt" and that's what you got. While still being ignored by every cashier, the customer at the counter turns towards me and says "Are you sure that you want to eat here?" I talk to the other customer and agree with him, that between the incorrect orders, the yelling, the arguments and an obvious delay in receiving orders I wouldn't be brave enough to stay and eat there and wished the other customer good luck. I noticed upon existing the store that two of the cars that had pulled forward were still waiting. I spoke with both vehicles and informed them that they needed to confirm their order before leaving, both individuals stated that they had been waiting for approximately 10 minutes. In summary, this is the worse atmosphere and customer service that have EVER seen and as I try and recall all of the events, I do not recall the manager in the kitchen wearing a hair net or gloves as they were cooking.
