Burger King review: Sales Tax in CT

Burger King on Newtown Road, Danbury, CT is charging 7.35% sales tax for its meals. The sales tax rate is CT is 6.35%. Of the three managers (?) there, two said that they were charging the correct amount for sales tax. I wanted to speak to the owner of the store; a message was not delivered.

Please get this issue straightened out, a.s.a.p.!

Desired outcome: Correct the sales tax that this store is incorrectly charging, for future customers. Unfortunately, because of how I was brushed off, I will not be returning for another meal at Burger King.
