I applied for a team member position at this location twice online. The following morning I received an email from the corporate office I believe and was recommended to apply for a management position at this paticular location and so I did. I contacted the manager later on that evening to inform him of my resume and application. He instructed me to resubmit an application on "jointeambk.com" by which i did for the third time. The following day, this very same manager contacted me and stated that i scored to high on the questionaire and that no one could possibly score in that fashion unless they were lying and he clearly stated that I was lying. He also mentioned that I scored an 87% and that I needed to score less than an 85%. I communicated to this manager that my previous background clearly states that my positions held were managerial and that is the only way I know to answer questions as such b/c I too have managed businesses and was successful at providing excellent customer service and my staff was more than productive due to their drive and ambition and for the simple fact of my leadership and motivational skills. I have a love for people and a desire for myself and them to be successful. I want it to be known that my integrity, intelligence, work ethic and expertise was insulted. I have no need to lie about myself and what I represent. I don't feel anyone should be spoken to in that fashion, nor do you call some one a liar especially one that could have been a potential employee and great asset to your team. I feel this should be addressed immediately, maybe some customer service training, hiring process training should be reviewed and implemented at this paticular location. I applied for a position that was offering $6.55 per hour and a 5hr day work week and I was willing to accept this position and do my best for myself, your company and for my children. The economy is terrible and work is difficult to obtain. Behavior as such from a "professional" should be an embarrassment to your firm, I felt embarrassment for you. Thank you. Betrina Whitfield.
