I rented a compact car from Budget UK at Heathrow for a 14-day UK tour, originally quoted at roughly $850. Car was returned in excellent condition with no damage, and a full tank of fuel.

At the rental counter, I was not verbally told the total rental cost, nor was it explained that premium “Super” insurance products were being added to my agreement at "Super" costs.

The final charge exceeded $5,000, representing roughly a 500% increase over the expected amount, driven largely by insurance add-ons that were not clearly disclosed or understood at the time of rental.

I am disputing these charges due to lack of transparent verbal communication and lack of understand of full price with additional "Super" insurances.

I am seeking removal of premium insurance products that were not clearly explained or verbally understood, and a revised invoice reflecting legitimate, clearly disclosed charges.

Recommendation: Future customers should insist on hearing the full total amount— including insurance — before signing anything at pickup.
