Avoid AmeriGas, their pricing is outrageous. We just got ripped off paying $4.989 per gallon plus charges for HazMat and Fuel Recovery on the delivery. We also had to wait about 10 days for the delivery. The tanks we have belong to AmeriGas, so we have no choice.

I just called another local propane company and their price is $3.39 per gallon. Next time we need propane, we're changing suppliers.

According to the BBC, there is a lawsuit in Michigan against AmeriGas for similar issues.

Recommendation: Avoid AmeriGas if at all possible.
