I was robbed on a business trip, checkbook and documents included, went to my home branch to schedule an appointment to open a new account due to the theft and it was extremely busy so I reached out or should I say tried to reach out to the Branch Leader Deanna Mercado. Deanna was extremely rude talking over me and just kept pointing to the bank teller line stating she was busy. I was a customer of Sun Trust/Truist for 30+ years, and I have never experienced this type of service, all I wanted was her to take my name and call me when they had time so I could schedule an appointment. I asked Deanna for her leaders contact information and was refused. I went to the branch today stood in line and at my turn explained the situation to the teller and was instructed to speak with Deanna, at that point I closed my business account, next steps are to transfer my mortgage and vehicle loan to another provider.
Bottom line is Truist Cherryville branch leadership customer service is pitiful at best !
Recommendation: Do your banking with one of their competitors.
