Aspen Dental review: Dentures

Aspen Dental says they have 8 million customers, and I don’t think I’m that unlucky to have what has happened to me   

So there is a case for me I don’t know if you’re interested because I don’t know how to calculate Damages. I’ve gone without eating a full meal because my teeth fall out for two years. I’ve been lied to and abused, and my money has been stolen.

But the big dollars for you are in a major suit, including all of Aspen,’s customers. The biggest one is a fault warranty, which is explained. The second Vegas is the total abuse with no review of the dismissal process… It is cruel and abusive.

Just look at the reviews. Also, they have lost or settled four multimillion dollar lawsuits for deception of customers. 

They are a dirty company from top to bottom… Arrogant, bullying

My story I’m sure is not the only one and I think Aspen Dental has a huge multimillion dollar legal exposure with the two different warranties one of which they lie about and take 80% of your money if your teeth don’t work.

Subject: Aspen Dental massive malpractice, grand theft, extreme abuse of me, discrimination because of my age and my disability, lying to the police and government agencies and abandoning me when my teeth fell out with each meal for now 2000 straight meals… There has not been one meal in two years, where the lower teeth  didn’t fall out. 

I had upper and lower teeth when I met you guys and I've only had uppers after the surgery for dentures, two years where I couldn’t 

Aspen Dental’s president inferred that I was dangerous, which started out with her saying some dentist got shot or killed someplace like Colorado or something OK right at the beginning of our negotiation that thousands and thousands of Aspen Dental people were scared of me, think I might murder somebody She was not negotiating in good faith  Particularly the bogus recommendation for a specialist without absolutely any data to support it.  This is all on top of a settlement amount of $5000 when the average Dental settlement for the last two years with over 2000 cases is $155,000.  I’m being deceived. I will only accept work done at Aspen Dental, preferably with Doctor Ngo, In the Santa Fe office.

Here is an exact summary of my short phone call with the president of Aspen Dental, it took me two years to get it and our discussed was nothing less than absurd and astonishing

Here is what the president said to me in our phone:

1. First, she said some dentist or doctor got shot and murdered someplace in Colorado I think. I was floored by this… what does this have to do with my teeth?

2. Then she said she put security in place at a lot of her offices. Again, what does that have to do with my teeth or anything about me and I asked her if she did put security at the office that I went to and she said she didn't know.

3. She said."people were scared of me because I wrote a lot of reviews" Another baseless accusation all meant to lead up to the fact that she was going to offer basically nothing. She was bullying me, a behavior that is common in Aspen Dental from the CEO down to the dental offices. The culture has been established.

4. She closed by saying Aspen Dental won't fix my teeth that I should go to some kind of specialist because of my "condition."
They even gave me the name of a specialist to see… So easy to pick up This one was astonishing because Aspen Dental never examined my teeth. The last time they made an adjustment was two years ago and nobody said anything about I have an issue that requires somebody else. In fact, in my last visit with Doctor Ngo in Santa Fe she said there's a simple solution and it is implants on my lowers, and she showed me a set of them. This is what I've been asking for.

5. I asked to have my dismissal removed, much like an incorrect police charge on the books, and Dr. Aurora didn't follow any of the seven rules of dismissal, but the president refused.
So basically, I said almost nothing during my conversation with the president because I had to pick myself up off the floor because I was so astonished at the insulting statement The only reason they suggested to see an outside specialist with absolutely no data to support that is because they want me out of their hair, but I won't let them … they caused the problem and they have to fix it.

I've been trying to contact them, but they have blocked my emails , blocked my phone, and illegally dismissed me as a patient so I can't talk to anybody, even the emergency line So I have no other way to make people hear the truth than to put it on a google review. Thank God for Goog

I can summarize the entire story below in one sentence

ASPEN DENTAL HAS PERFORMED MALPRACTICE ON ME, HAS STOLEN $11,000 FROM ME, AND HAS ABUSED ME SEVERELY … I am a 78 year-old man with a disability that Aspen Dental is very aware of. 

In addition to the botched surgery and stolen $11,000 much of the significant abuse is around the dismissal 

The illegal dismissal process on me is cruel, and they abandoned a customer who needed them to finish their botched contractual job I paid for in advance

On 10 26 2023  I had dentures put in after paying $11,000 in advance. They did not work that night. The bottoms fell out when I tried to eat. After Eight adjustments… same result. 

Now 2 years later I have not had one meal without my teeth falling out. I have lost 60 pounds, have many physical issues like malnutrition, extreme weight loss, very extreme eczema, and anxiety, caused by Aspen Dental, supported and documented by three doctors of mine .

Dr. Aurora, against all industry standards, I believe, talked to my doctor without my approval. Since that time I have switched to a  different doctor because she answered the call from Dr. Aurora.  

I made many requests to the 
 doctors (Doctor Navbir Aurora in Santa Fe, New Mexico And Doctor Jebediah Christie in Charleston, South Carolina) and to the CEO and chief legal officer of Aspen Dental. All I got back was two cowardly calls to the police that I was harassing Doctor Aurora. The second one was one Was a singleemail suggesting that we sit down and talk.

Robert Montana is the CEO of Aspen Dental and every attempt at solutions with South Carolina and New Mexico doctorsfailed, And they answered zero emails,so I am filing in Illinois where the CEO is located. He is responsible for all of the Aspen businesses. It’s not me

Nobody answered  even one of the the over 60 emails each  They blocked my phone, and illegally dismissed me when I asked to have my teeth fixed , … illegal because they did none of the seven American Dental Association (ADA) requirements for a dismissal.  

The Aspen CEO has a warranty to fix or fully refund the cost of the dentures. This is in all their print ads, all over the Internet and even on TV advertisement like at the Olympics closing ceremony. 

It is this guarantee made by the CEO Robert Fontana as to why I chose Aspen Dental in the first place. 

At least six times in writing to Dr. Aurora I suggested we talk and he did not return the emails. The department of Justice said we should look at mediation and I agreed, but Doctor Aurora refused. 

Aspen Dental in Charleston, South Carolina botched the job in the beginning, offered me $.20 on the dollar on my $11,000 purchase. LET ME REPEAT I PAID $11,000. MY BOTTOM TEETH NEVER WORKED FOR ONE DAY AND THEY-OFFERED $2800 AS A WARRANTY THAT IS KEPT SECRET EXCEPT TO PEOPLE WHO BLINDLY SIGNED IT. I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE WARRANTY TO SIGN BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY I WOULDN’T HAVE SIGNED

I asked to see a copy of the contract where I signed for such a a secret warranty and after a dozen requests to Yolanda I gave up. Aspen Dental refused to give me a copy of my contract and a copy of any kind of warranty that I might have signed. 

The fact is there is no contract that I signed that I will get $.20 on the dollar, and such a warranty was never explained to me by the people in Aspen Dental in Charleston

It would cost about $2000 to $3000 in incremental cost to give me lower implants, and Dr. Aurora has spent many times more on legal fees and influencing the police. He is trying to bully me with expensive legal fees, and tons of documentation all of them covering his compulsive, lying time and time again

ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT I AM NOT THAT UNLUCKY. WITH 2 MILLION CUSTOMERS WHO KNOWS HOW MANY LOST MONEY ON THE WARRANTY OR HAD TO GO ELSEWHERE TO GET THEIR TEETH COMPLETED. THIS COULD BE A VERY EXPENSIVE LAWSUIT AND I DON’T THINK ASPEN DENTAL NEEDS ANY MORE BAD PUBLICITY IN THE LEGAL AREA.

Doctor Aurora illegally and against industry standards, dismissed me for three reasons, and all of them reflect serious character flaws of Doctor Aurora. 

first it was because I told him I want to have my teeth fixed under warranty and Dr. Aurora went absolutely crazy and threw me out of the facility. 

Secondly by dismissing me, the people in customer service won’t handle my claim against Dr Aurora. So the very people who were investigating my claim were prevented from doing so by Dr. Aurora. In my business experience that is called a conflict of interest. 

Thirdly besides dismissing me, he blocked my phone for every number at Aspen , preventing me from resolving my issues, And not allowing me to get through to the emergency line when I was in severe pain. 

Here are the seven rules FOR DISMISSAL AND NONE OF THEM WERE MAD. I EMAILED TO GET THE DETAILS SEVERAL TIMES, BUT GOT NO ANSWER. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS, IT’S ARROGANT, IT’S INCOMPETENCE, AND IT IS MEAN SPIRITED. HONEST TO GOD THE DAY DR. AURORA CAME IN THE OFFICE WHERE I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE ENTERING THE OFFICE, SCREAMING LIKE A FREAKING MANIAC I STILL CAN’T FIGURE IT OUT, I NEVER MET HIM, I SAW HIM FOR MAYBE 10 SECONDS, AND HE ABANDONED ME AS A PATIENT

The rules

1. Provide Written notice. I never got one. They claimed to have sent it two or three times but it was just another lie.

2. Provide patients with time, 30 days, to get a new dentist …  they actually dismissed me the day before they informed me. 

3 Be professional, something that Dr. Aurora is incapable of.

4. Document communications. I did , Dr. Aurora did not.

5. Support the patient in help him find a new doctor… I got no help since absolutely no one at Aspen Dental would talk to me or email me or anything. They left me on my own with no help.

6. Make sure the patient is not in the middle of a treatment plan which I was because my teeth would fall out each meal, over 2000 meals now

7. Avoid discrimination. Apparently, Dr. Aurora thought he could bully me because of my age, 78, and my disability.

By the way, Aspen Dental in New Mexico has a D minus rating from the Better Business Bureau and they don't even recognize them as a valid company

How could your CEO recommend that I see a specialist when no one has examined me for two years. That is preposterous. My last exam in Santa Fe with Doctor NGO she said I needed implants on my bottom teeth and even showed me a pair. You guys must think I’m stupid that I wouldn’t pick that up.

This is truly a David and Goliath story. The massive resources of Aspen Dental versus a 78 year-old disabled man, with only a phone to communicate. I have no computer, I have no printer, I have no fax machine, I have no Lawyer,,, and I have no money… I believe I am judgment proof if they want to go after me I have no assets except a car and one closet of clothes and my streams of income… Social security and my qualified pension plan from General Electric… Are protected by law I think

I hope you can help me, and make a lot of money for yourselves, and add to the mounting Legal deceptive practices lawsuits against Aspen Dental… They lost about 30 million in the last Doesn’t years or so. One of them they were found guilty and paid $4 million and Damages, and then three years later they had to pay the same amount again cause they started all over. One of the cases involved selling patient data.
