Aspen Dental cant get permanent dentures after 7 months

My grandmother went to the Prattville, AL location for dentures in May 2022. In September after she was all healed up from having he teeth pulled, they started trying to fit her for the permanent dentures. It is now December 29, 2022 and she still hasnt gotten her permanet dentures. She has drove 30 miles one way at leat 20 times and every time they dont fit. She cant even close her mouth when she has them in. She is 83 years old and cant keep driving that far. She even had an accident this month on her way to her last dentist appointment. I feel like this has become a bit ridiculous the amount of times shes went there and still hasnt gotten what she paid for.

Desired outcome: I think she should get her money back so she can go elsewhere to get her dentures

Sadly they had her sign paperwork she didn't understand saying she got what she paid for, but hasnt been able to use her dentures at all and its been a yr long battle. We tried to reach out to another location but they would not help and only referred her back to the Killeen location... ERGH So much money wasted... Aspen You SUCK!

Aspen Dental Customer service

I went to Aspen Dental in Hinesville, GA to give them my partial back because I'm tired of trying to get them fixed. I have never been able to wear them for long and I can't eat with them. A lady came to the desk and I asked to speak to the dentist. I took my partial out of my pocket and they got hung on the pocket and flew on the desk I guess she thought I threw them at her or that's what she told the dentist.

A minute later the finance lady said (get in here I will give your money back) very hateful I followed her to her office sharply put my teeth on her desk and told her she could keep them. She called another lady in and she came and shut the door and stood in front the door so I could not get out. When I turned to leave I had to reach around her to get the door handle her and the finance lady started slapping me and pushed me so I couldn't leave I put my hands up be to block her and then she started yelling don't touch me I finally got the door open she started screaming for someone to call 91 I pushed by her and left. Never will I set foot in Aspen Dental again. When I got home I had scratches on my face and blood on the bandage that was on my back where I had surgery. I want all my money have spent on the partial because they were never right.

Desired outcome: My money refunded for the teeth.

Aspen Dental Incomplete service, not finishing dental procedure

My dentist did a teeth cleaning, extraction, bone graft, and inplate and gum recession protector. Was told to let it heal and they would call me when it was time to come back to get fitted for my tooth. Gum recession protector fell out. Realised it had been awhile since I had seen my dentist.

Called to make a appointment with my dentist. Was told my dentist had left and there was a new dentist. Went to my appointment with the new dentist. Was to by their hygienist to buy products I did not need or would use. I told the hygienist no thank you. The hygienist talk to the dentist. The dentist came in and said I had to have my teeth cleaned and have the roots cleaned as well. And the dentist said they would not fit me for or give me a tooth till I had the cleaning done.

I told the dentist that I had a cleaning before this procedure was started.

Desired outcome: Fit me for and give me a tooth at their expense. For all the emotional and trouble they put me through.Or reimburse me for the cleaning, extraction, bone graft, and inplate and gum recession protector.

Aspen Dental 7-year warranty

I was supposed to get the 7-year warranty on my dentures. I paid for it, but I didn't get it. The Dr. was going to charge me for a reline. There was a recall on the part where the teeth sit in. I lost a tooth, but she would not make them over, so it came out again. They did not seal them properly. I know what she has them to do. If you say you will try the dentures, then they put in the paperwork that you are satisfied with the service. This is in Beckley WV. at Aspen Dental. The he said she said game that was what I was told about the warranty, 5000.00 for nothing. After they get your money, they are done with you.

Desired outcome: I would like for them to give me my money back on the warranty, also after 3 sets of teeth I am going to another dentist to get my dentures. They did not do the job I paid for.

Aspen Dental Dentures.

My wife went in Oct. 25th to order a new set of dentures at your facilty in Pleasant Plains, Wi.. It is now December 15th, and she still hasn't received them. She has called in several times and either gets disconnected, put on hold, or whoever she spoke to has no idea as to what is going on or when she can expect them. She just called again this morning and is told to come in Monday. for whatever reason, she asked but was told that the person on the phone did not know.

I am now asking for a refund of our $2500.00 so that she can go elsewhere to order them and get them much sooner if the dentures are not ready this coming Monday. This is getting beyond ridiculous. I expect to hear from you soon as to how you intend to proceed. Otherwise, I will start the process of getting our 2500 dollars refunded through all the sources at my disposal. Your advertising states that customers will have their new dentures in a matter of days. We are now at about 7 weeks, and still have no answers as to when to expect her dentures.

Desired outcome: Dentures ready this coming Monday, or a refund of $2500.00.

Aspen Dental Veneers

As of the writing of this complaint [protected]), I have now had the 4th veneer come off.

In February/March 2021 I had 6 front-top teeth veneers put on at Aspen Dental Mayfield, OH. This was due to an injury where some of the front teeth were broken.

I have since gone to another dentist and not only did they comment that the veneers should have been crowns, but that the veneers Aspen Dental put on were impinging on my gums and causing irritation and slight swelling.

I would like to be refunded by Aspen and we could put the issue to rest. If I have to take matters to a legal level I will certainly seek that out.

Desired outcome: Restitution of expenses for Veneers put on by Aspen Dental in early 2021. All of my expenses were out-of-pocket, as my job at the time did not include a dental plan.

Regarding Aspen Dental Office in

2021 (July), I had some extractions of my upper teeth. I was given a temporary denture until my gums had receded. My permanent denture was given to me in December 2021. In the meantime, the temporary dentures had broken. I was given no indications for the reasons this happened.

In April 2022, while visiting family, the permanent denture also broke, resulting to seek repairs. I was in Ohio and unable to get any assistance due to the inconvenience of your offices and it was a Friday, and no one was available. I called the local office and was informed to come in later the following week to get a replacement denture. I was informed to check to see if the denture fit, they did and nothing else was done. This caused major inconvenience and discomfort.

In September 2022, my replaced denture also cracked and broke. I wanted to speak to the doctor to understand why my denture continued to break. I was informed the denture would be made stronger. I still have not been given a viable reason for this defection.

On November 30, my denture cracked, I contacted the office, again, to inform them of this and was told to stop in the office to have someone look at them. When I stopped in, the next day, I was informed that since the dentures were not broken, I would have to wait until they broke before anything could be done. As you may know, based on my previous experience, I already know that once I attempt to eat anything, the dentures would break. That evening, I attempted to eat something, and the denture broke. I attempted to call the office, left a voice message regarding the denture, as of today 12/2/2022, no one has returned my call.

I contacted the office in the early morning, again was informed I would have to bring in my denture to prove they are broken. They needed to verify my dentures were broken. I was also informed since the technician was out sick, I would not be able to come in until Monday. This is very upsetting because while I was in the office the previous day, no one offered to look at the denture to verify there was a crack which would result in the denture breaking.

This experience has made me feel as a senior citizen there was some discrimination in the way this situation was handled. I feel in the medical field seniors are not taken seriously. It's not like I am chewing bones. How is it that one set of dentures must be replaced three times withing a year and half.

Desired outcome: Currently, I am looking for replacement denture and a full refund of the purchase price.

Aspen Dental Poor service and rude service representative at front desk

I went in to make an appointment for a cap on a tooth I had just had a root canal on. Girl at front desk asked what I needed and I told her. I was confused because she told me to sit down. I did sit down. I was finally told to go through a weedoor and talk to another girl who was much nicer. She worked me in and when I got home noticed the instructions said to have cap put on in one to two weeks. I have since been trying to call them to change appointment, but have not been able to reach them. Left two messages but have not heard back from them. I felt that several of the staff were rude. This was my second time there but I will not recommend them to anyone else

Aspen Dental They have false advertising

This was in 2020 the x Ray and the extraction supposed to be free well I paid for the first visit but when I went back for the extraction at checkout I had to pay for the extraction I was told that the dentist had to use a surgical tool which is the same tool they use for all extractions.. I will not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone I will drive a hundred miles out of my way..

Desired outcome: It would have been nice to get refunded since I had no job and I had to borrow the money..

Aspen Dental Cleaning

I felt like I was at a Jiffy Lube. Went in for a cleaning under insurance and then told I would need 2 cleanings and antibiotics put in gums Cleaning was covered but the antibiotic treatment was going to be $1,000. Decided to walk out .

They ask you to meet with an office manager then upsell

Problem is I have all my teeth, I’m 65 and see a dentist every 6 mos for a cleaning. I moved to SC and needed a new dentist. I’ve never heard of this before going in for a covered cleaning and then being told I needed a special treatment.

Going to fund a fair dentist office in SC .

I was never informed that I am not a good candidate for lower dentures and have now had nothing but trouble with my lower plate. I have recently been in for an adjustment and new reline, however I am still in pain and uncomfortable and am seeking a full refund or lower dental implants at no additional cost to me as it has been almost three years now with nothing but trouble from my dentures.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund or dental implants for my lower jaw

Aspen Dental New dentures, second set

11/22/2022 I had an appointment in Auburn, Maine Aspen Dental office to have my second impression done and I was told they were going to put liners in my first set. I wasn't scheduled to have liners put in. I was scheduled to get my second set of dentures processed. I was told the person who does impressions wasn't working today. My husband had his dentures made in Boston and a Nurse's assistant did the impressions. My dentures have already been paid for and I feel I am getting a run around with the Auburn office. I've had nothing but a run around with Aspen. They rush me in there and out in a untimely manner. They've put so many liners in there that the dentures wouldn't stay in my mouth, even with Fixodent. And the last time I complained to them about the care that office was given to me I was treated like crap. Unacceptable. I told them when I called today that my first set broke in two. when they worked on the first set I noticed they ground a small hole through them. I dont want to get our Lawyer involved in the matter but I will have no chose in going through this abuse. If they think they would try to glue my broken set together it won't work. Gluing Acrylics is like gluing broken glass together. It doesn't.

Aspen Dental Bait & switch

I signed an estimate for total implant dental work back in 5/5/21 @ 4:11 pm for the implant Total Treatment cost 6,783.00 less discount and insurance est. which included the Hygiene appointment.

Total Treatment Plan 6,783.00

Less Discount -237.00

Less Insurance Discount -1747.80

Est Insurance Benefit -417.70

_______________________________

Financial Responsibly to be 4,380.50

I paid 5.5.21 - 2,628.30

I paid 12.28.21 - 2,238.60

_________________________________

My Est. Balance (486.40)

When it came time for the Cap to be put 8/9/22 I was charged and additional 2,681.00. This seam like a bait a switch. I was estimated one price and was hit with another.

In addition to that, my insurance finally settled the claim 11.14.22 and it states I only owe 1,071.00. I have emailed Aspen 2 times for the adjustment to be made to my account with (care credit) for the difference 1,610.00 and of course they will not respond AGAIN. Not only did I get screwed once now I am being screwed out of the money that I don't owe.

Desired outcome: Refund me for the adjustment in my insurance and write off the difference from the quote to the additional charge on 8.9.22 for the crown and the 2 charges for the semi precious attachment & abutment .

Aspen Dental Dentures

Had an initial appointment at Aspen Dental in Ellsworth Me. on October 10, 2022. Had had extractions. Next appointment had impressions taken and temporary dentures supplied. They did not fit right. Pain and bleeding from gums and the keep falling out. I went back and they did an adjustment. I could not take the pain anymore. I notified them of the problem right away. Right now, I'm not a happy customer.

Desired outcome: I'm willing to wait for final outcome once gums have healed but if the final dentures do not fit any better, I will not be happy. I email my problem over a week ago, I heard nothing back.
