Aspen Dental - The customer care Vero beach office!!

I asked to have my x-rays sent to me, they said I had to sign a Hyppa form so I went in three weeks ago to do this. They said it would take about 5 to 10 business days before I received my x-rays through email. I just spoke with corporate office and they said that the Vero Beach a Aspen Dental never sent the request over to corporate, now I called them three different times and they told me that they did it is very unprofessional and I’m really not happy with a Aspen Dental and I would never come back to any Aspen dental because of this. I need my x-rays immediately so I can get my teeth fixed that my insurance already paid for.

Aspen Dental - Billing - Vero Beach, FL Office

Went to have a tooth pulled. First visit was supposed to be consult and Xray for to remove my tooth. Ended up with a full exam and an estimate for $10,000.00 worth of dental work! I HAVE AN ESTABISHED DENTIST - I only went to you to remove my tooth since you are on my Ameritas Dental Plan. Paid the first $250 of my visit, and then was told that the next visit would be billed to my insurance carrier. At the time of my first Visit I gave the office staff my insurance card. On Jan 3rd I went and had my tooth removed. No complaints about my procedure all went well. Was assured that they would bill my insurance. Last week I received a bill for the remainder of my cost - my insurance was NOT BILLED! Last Name on my billing statement was INCORRECT! My last name is Woods NOT Woords!. Called on the 16th to see why insurance was not billed, I was told someone would contact me. Called TODAY 1/18/23, spent 1.5 hours on hold to be told "WE DO NOT HAVE ANY INSURANCE INFORMATION ON YOU AT ALL!". I again gave the my insurance information via the phone. Office staff I spoke to stated she hs nothing to do with insurance and that she does not handle it, but she is the person who makes copies and puts them in the file, so what kind of story is this.

Desired outcome: I want my bill filed with the insurance, my name corrected in your records.

This very office has a long history of stealing from unwary, trusting patients such as ourselves. They WILL NOT help you when you escalate your problem to the (useless) "corporate office" which is where I believe your complaint here is directed. Please, instead forward copies of your complaint to the following entities. Aspen Dental of Vero Beach needs to be held accountable for their egregious acts against hundreds of mistreated patients. Additionally, we recommend you drop your story into an patient advocate/support group VICTIMSofASPENdentalVeroBeachUnite@gmail.com. www.FDACS.gov, floridadentistry.gov, FL Dept of Health, to name a few. Please print out online forms and defend yourself effectively! Change and relief begins with us who do not bow to the "tearing down tactic" used here by this office's ignoring of calls, bait-and-switch practices, income-driven greed, poor staffing and (extremely) inexperienced staff that masquerade as decision-making managers. We will be happy to be your witness in any litigation that may arise when you have also grown fed up with Aspen Dental of Vero Beach's antics. Good luck!

Aspen Dental - Charging me an excessive amount of money - not filing my insurance correctly

Aspen Dental is the worst. The couple of times I went to them, I had to pay my portion before I was seen.

They sent me a bill for over $526.00 dollars demanding payment. I spoke with someone once and told them that they may be putting in the wrong codes to get payment from my Insurance Company. That has happened to me twice before from Quest Diagnostics and Dr. Ivery's office.

They refused and put my in the Credit Collection. It dropped my score approximately 41 points. Please help.

Sincerely,

A Responsible Client
