Aspen Dental They tell you have lots of problems you don't have and they charge too much

Went to the North Little Rock, AR office a couple of months ago and the first thing they do is take like five x-rays, which is unnecessary. They tell you you have all these problems you may or may not actually have. When you go for just a clean up, they start an operation without telling you first and they act like you're stupid because you didn't know they were going to do it. They want you pay a boatload for simple procedures and I've never had to pay a dentist more than $40 because I have insurance. It's like they only use part of your insurance.

They gave me the a temporary crown that came off three days later and broke. I've never had a temp crown, only a lazor version and I've had a lazer crown there before, so I don't understand why they saw the need to re-crown it, unless the old one wore out or whatever (I'm not a dental expert). I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Aspen Dental Houma, Louisiana location

I had an appointment at 7 am July 11, 2022 for an extraction and filling . The office manager informed me that she was still having trouble verifying my insurance. My insurance agent called her trying to resolve the matter. She allowed me to sit there until sometime passed 8 am only to inform me that my appointment time had passed and they will not see me today.

Desired outcome: I have made another appointment elsewhere. I will never go back to Aspen or recommend them to anyone.

Aspen Dental Office management - scheduling and billing

Have used the Columbus, GA Aspen office for nearly a decade. The change in office staff is noticable. The most recent issues stem from a failure to communicate on the part of the office staff or provide timely service. Had to wait one week to schedule an appointment due to corporate errors with the account (we resolved directly with corporate as neither Aspen office was helpful). Then get an appointment, only to have only x-rays done and deferred another week in spite of the Aspen office scheduling the appointment for the work that was described. Arrive for scheduled appointment, only to be told they cannot see us because they are short dentists. Then seek to push us further out. When this is protested, we get an appointment for the following day. During all of this, we have an issue with an outstanding debt that is apparently 4 1/2 years old (not paid by insurance) that we were completely unaware of until told, "hey you have a balance due"... and then mumble that it dates back to 2018. Who the hell waits 4 1/2 years to identify that there is an unpaid debt? When I ask to speak with someone about it, I get "deer in the headlights" look and handed a printout of office visit history that I sort through to figure out what insurance paid and what we paid; and, am promised that on the third office visit, nevermind we take off work to make the appointments and would be charged for an office visit if we failed to show up for a scheduled appoint, but no consequences for the office? Three appointments to be seen for the one issue of a filling fix we tried to get fixed weeks ago, wait 1 1/2 hours to still not be seen until I walk out of the office along with at least three other customers with the same issue of not being able to speak with someone about an issue. This office has not been right since Daniel left the office before the pandemic.

Desired outcome: I would like to speak with someone concerning the outstanding debt and seek a resolution, but I want an explanation about why it took 4 1/2 years to say something!

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental Lake City Florida

I called a week ago to make an appointment for the Aspen Dental on Hwy 90 in Lake City Florida. The appointment was set for today at 1100hrs. I received confirmation email and text message from Aspen to be at the Lake City office at 1100 hrs. I get there a the receptionist who was more interested in flirting with a co-worker than dealing with 12 customers in the lobby said "your appointment is in Middleburg." She had a printed appointment card in her hand with my name on it. The Lake City Office was scratched out and the address of Middleburg Office WRITTEN in. The Lake City office is 30 minutes from my home. The Middleburg Office is an hour and a half away (traffic willing). Why in the name of Odin, Thor, Freyja and all of the Gods in Aesgard and Valhalla would I make an appointment an hour and a half away when there's an office not 25 miles away from me. She said, " Well sir you may not have noticed on the website that you had chosen Middleburg instead of Lake City". So now it's MY fault. I showed her on my text and e-mail confirmations that the appt was set for Lake City Florida. Her excuse was "Well sometimes the Corporate Office changes the appointment and fails to notify the customer." I told her that that was a shame and I opened the locked bank bag that I was carrying and showed her the $40,000 in cash that I brought with me to buy a set of Dental Implants. Needless to say , her jaw dropped to the floor with the jaws of more than one of the office staff and most of the waiting customers. As I walked toward the door she stated "Sir, we can reschedule your appointment for here."

I told her "Well miss my texts and e-mails from YOUR corporate office PROVE that I was already scheduled here. One of your staff members here took it upon themselves to change it because they didn't feel like dealing another customer. You and and your fellow employees are either Lazy, Incompetent or Lying. In my experience those three usually go hand in hand. Those aren't the type of people that I would normally trust when I'm doped up for a medical or dental procedure. As I got in the car and three other customers left the lobby behind me.What do ya know? You want to know exactly what went wrong but you restricted how much I could write in the "Desired Outcome". So...you essentially could care less about what the "Customer" expects. Alright :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

DESIRED OUTCOME:::VERY IMPORTANT:::THIS IS A FELLOW PHYSICIAN

AND RETIRED ARMY RANGER SPEAKING TO YOU ABOUT THE DREADFULLY POOR SERVICE AT ASPEN DENTAL IN LAKE CITY FLORIDA.

To me? The money I brought today was basically a down payment on a very wicked looking piece of showmanship. My teeth are in very bad shape due to years of cigarettes, coffee and a bad PLF (Paratrooper terminology) that broke four molars and cracked several others. There is a HUGE loss of chewing ability and a lot of physical discomfort. Let's be truthful though. My Professional Days are nearing their end and I'm gonna have some well deserved fun by having a vicious looking set of teeth that can really tear into my post-workout grapefruit and Wheaties.

Desired outcome: No expectations from a group lazy people.

Aspen Dental Customer service, dental treatment

I have a few issues. On feb 29, 2022 my local aspen dental (crestview, florida) placed a crown on tooth number 14. Come june 27, 2022 an aspen dentist gave me antibiotics for an abscess in tooth number 14. The antibiotic was amoxicillin, 28 pills take a pill every 6 hours. The dentist also gave me a referral to see specialist to possibly perform a root canal. I suffered greatly with this abscess. I did not receive any relief until the 3rd of july. On 5 july I contacted my local aspen office at 7:30 in the morning and I told them I only had one pill left and I wanted some additional antibiotics to finish off the infection

I was told that the dentist would not give me anymore antibiotics because if it hadn't helped by now perhaps I had developed a resistance to the antibiotic. I asked to speak with the person in charge and was told I was speaking to the person in charge. I then asked that my request be passed on to the dentist. The lady I was speaking to an came back to say the dentist would give me a prescription for a different antibiotic. She went on to say that I should have pills left from the first prescription and that maybe I didn't take the pills as prescribed. I told her I would not get into a numbers game with her to which she said she would not argue with me. Now reading this it is impossible to imagine the tone and feelings behind the words but I felt I was being talked down to in a very condescending manner. All I wanted was a few extra amoxicillin to finish off the infection. On top of this on a different tooth with a temporary crown I just gave up. On 4 occasions in one week the temporary crown came off. I went to the aspen office 0n 5 july to speak to the office manager but was told she was out sick. I found out that the assistant office manager was the lady I spoke with earlier that morning so I left. I still can't see a specialist for a possible root canal until next week. Again, I have suffered greatly with this abscess and am still not out of the woods. Dealing with the public can be difficult at times something I know a great deal about. But, it means the world to a person when you speak with someone who you really believe gives a damn about you and your problem. I sincerely think that the assistant manager didn't care about me as a patient.

Desired outcome: I leave that to you but paying for another crown for tooth number 14 seems unfair

On 3-9-22 I went in for my first appointment to complain about throbbing pain in the tooth that sits directly beside the front tooth. After x-rays they said I needed a root canal for the tooth I was complaining about and a root canal for the canine tooth right next to that tooth. On 3-16-22 I went in for the two root canals. On 4-4-22 I went in for core...

Wish I didn’t have to even give one star. The dental hygienist and dentist were horrible. I went in for a tooth extraction and to talk about a partial in that order but these two women were the most vile. You walk in and get swooped up by all these X-rays then have someone come in and tell you that you need 6-8 of your teeth pulled that are still good and...

Can you please help me. If not can you return the payment back to Humana. The lady that took my payment at the front desk, tried to run a scam on me, my son pulled the Chase account, then all of a sudden she found me in her system. Aspen Dental Bottom partial

Last year I purchased a replacement partial from Aspen Dental in Lancaster Ohio. A metal piece on the partial I had before broke. I worked with a girl in the office and Dr Que. Everything was ok until they did the fitting with with teeth in wax; the teeth were crooked. I told the girl and she basically brushed me off. I continued to tell them that the teeth were crooked and no one would listen. When the final teeth came back I told Dr Que again and he said my top teeth were crooked. I told him that they didn't match up. He said it was supposed to be that way; then I said, well then the other side is wrong because they do match up. He walked out and didn't say anything. I hate confrontation and tried to wear them anyway but they side off of the food. I can't chew on that side. I've been wearing the anyway because I have no choice and no one will listen to me. This year I had a problem with another tooth and went to another dentist. I told him about it and he looked at the and said yes the teeth are crooked and don't touch on that side.

Desired outcome: I want to return these for a full refund and have another partial made by my current dentist. I can't afford to get a new one if I don't get a refund.

Aspen Dental product support

They refuse to stand by their product. My dentures have never fit right and after a couple months a tooth broke out and they couldn't get me in for a few days ( of course when i was a new customer they got me in that afternoon ) fast forward a few years and many teeth breaking out (all of which i fixed myself ) another tooth falls out so i decide to have them fix it for me. I call the appt. line and was told that to have a tooth glued back in i would have to see the dentist but that it would be a free consult so i set the appt but an hour later i get the call that not only could i have the appt that they just set but that i would be charged for a dental exam. To get a tooth glued back into a sloppy fitting plate to begin with ARE YOU KIDDING ME this has been my experience with aspen dental the only time that they can get you in when your a new customer and new money to them and once they do get you as a patient they refuse to stand by their work or there product

Desired outcome: what they told me when i made the appointment. which is a free dental appt/consult and to have my denture fixed. or ideally to just have my denture fixed

Aspen Dental Implants

I would like to know how do I file for a refund on my treatment. It did not turn out

The way I anticipated. I’m very upset on the outcome so! far . Please contact me with the proper protocol that I must do in order to take of this the procedure began in the month of August of 2021 at

The Aspen Dental office in Tuscaloosa, AL

35405 . My end goal was to have implant the ones that actually go in your mouth with the long screws, they explained to me that this particular process would be cheaper , However; as it took place and the dentures didn’t feel comfortable I started doubting the decision I made to do the surgery, it felt like they never could get the dentures to fit properly, so by this I began to get frustrated and disappointed. I’m always depressed now too ashamed to go anywhere because I fell self conscience about my mouth.

Sincerely,

Gwen Taylor

Desired outcome: Total refund

Aspen Dental Non fitting partial

Partial never fit me correctly. After at least 6 additional visits to make adjustments. I still have not been able to wear it. I paid in full out of pocket I was unemployed with no dental insurance. I just want it adjusted to fit if possible or remake one. I am now employed and have excellent dental insurance. I still believe they should do me right with a solution. I was a faithful patient and always paid in full.

Desired outcome: I want a partial that fits.
