Amazon Prime driver near collision

On Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 6:43 pm my fiance and I were driving on SR302 near Four Corners in the Key Peninsula area. We were heading westbound on SR302 passing 4 corners. There was one vehicle (a van) in front of us and as we were approaching the 4 corners intersection (Wright Bliss/Bliss Cochrane) intersection an Amazon Prime delivery van completely blew through the stop sign, crossing SR302 in front of the van and our car doing 60mph. He nearly hit the van in front of us. I work for a 911 dispatch center and was completely appalled at the drivers behavior. He never slowed down, applied brakes or anything. I have seen at least 3 fatality collisions at this intersection and have lived here for many years. This truly could have been one of those fatal collisions. This is completely unacceptable behavior and this driver needs to be reprimanded.

Desired outcome: Driver contacted and reprimanded for his driving.

Amazon Fraudulent items multiple/ deceptive selling practices and not providing prime benefits

I am beyond livid with Amazon. EVERY time I order something it either is fake, doesn’t come on time or at all, price gouging the hell out of every item. One seller in particular claims he’s sams Club. I ordered Dawn power wash and received it in a sams club box. I contacted Amazon 6 times about the seller. I then called sams club HQ and they confirmed that this man is using his membership and buying from sams to resell as sams on Amazon and then telling sams he never got the item. I cannot fathom how the hell he’s able to sell. I can go on for weeks with my order issues. More than willing to speak on the phone

Desired outcome: Refund my membership for the year 2021

Amazon Truck damaged mail boxes

On the afternoon of Saturday, February 2/19/2022, a delivery vehicle hit and damaged two mailboxes and posts in front of my house. It also backed up into the grass and then accelerated from the yard which tore up the grass from the roots.

I am fairly sure it was an Amazon vehicle because a piece was left behind and the color is similar to that of the Amazon vans.

Desired outcome: I would like the two posts and two mailboxes replaced.

Desired outcome: To stop the deduction & get a refund of the money that was taken unjustly from me (since I never receive the product/service).

Amazon Blocked from giving product reviews.

Approximately 1 month ago, I got a message saying that I could no longer rate a product because I said something against amazon policies. Now, I want to know what product it was and what I said about this product that prompted this blockage. I have spent many dollars on amazon. Please let me see and know what was said about a product. If no response back then I will take my business elsewhere.

immediately. Tried to complain but no one listened & answered at all. Very disappointing. Learnt a

lesson. Don’t use Amazon anymore

Desired outcome: I won’t expect a refund & no one responds to my complaint at all. I’ll share my poor experience to my friends & public forum.

Amazon gift cards

During weeks of day and night online survey work on iPoll, I earned 3 $25 gift card rewards and chose Amazon gift cards as the rewards because I thought Amazon was a good company that had the things I needed most. I am elderly and ill and can not find work because my ID was stolen and is hard to replace, and basically homeless, and Amazon accepted the gift cards rewards then immediately blocked my account when I ordered. I followed the instructions to prove ownership of the cards by downloading the receipts/emails sent to me by iPoll, but nothing has been done to resolve this issue.

Desired outcome: Unblock my account, allowing my purchases with my gift cards.

Amazon 2nd day prime deliveries

Continually amazon prime does not truly adhere to their 2 day delivery promise. Their "out" is that they "sit" on an order for several days, then ship it so that it (hopefully, but not always) arrives in a 2 day time limit. This makes a "2-day shipment arrival" many times a 7 day, from order placed, ordeal. While they are "technically" giving a 2 day shipment, they are "gaming their promise by withholding activity on the product in order to gain more response time to fulfilling the order. This activity which"used" to be an occasional occurrence, is now becoming a much more common place event!

Desired outcome: Stop doing it, or quit misleading people with a "2 day" promise and accept the outcome

Amazon sellers account money

I opened a sellers account in 2020 and i did the verification process on video call proving I'm real and a genuine seller.

when they opened my account i was getting use the the functions and how to list. ive listed few item on amazon and sold them and had no issues with buyers.

but in November 2020 I sold some items and they were highly priced and the fraud level was normal and I had to ship the item and did not think of any scamming going on or fraud. I shipped items and they the buyers message me saying they got something different but I know what I sent as I packed it myself and have photo evidence for it as its highly priced. they filed an amazon claim and amazon did not ask for my evidence or nothing and closed my account.

I had about 2k worth of sales on amazon and they did not pay me out and have committed fraud. now we are in 2022 and well over the 180 hold period for the money and each attempt i make to call them or email them they go there was never an account or never pick up or answer.

the buyers have got away with expensive items and amazon have played me and I demand a compensation from them and I'm requesting for my money to be sent along adding more due to the issue and the length that this is going on for

Desired outcome: i would like an apology as well as for my money to be sent to my bank account along with a extra charge for the issue

Amazon Book

I ordered a book and was given a delivery date of today, Feb 11th. Now it says the 17th and hasn't even shipped yet! This has been happening more and more. Why put a delivery date? Why not just say we will ship it when we feel like it?

Desired outcome: I needed the book today for a gift. I want the book ASAP! Not in another week

Amazon Service

Shreya, a customer service I contacted today few minutes back was extremely rude and incompetent.

I had to give her my order ID thrice (Please check the chat) and then her demeanor was very rude. I doubt if she was even reading my chats.

I have satisfaction with Amazon almost always and use the chat service for all sorts of queries and also returns.

It was sad, I don't like complaining but I am complaining because this should not happen to any customer. No one deserves rude customer service.

Desired outcome: The agent needs to retrained...or told that she needs to behave better.

Amazon Charged for Prime and ComiXology subscriptions without my knowledge or consent for almost two years.

A few days ago, I discovered to my surprise that I have been unknowingly paying for two subscriptions on Amazon for almost two years: Amazon Prime and ComiXology.

I stumbled upon the transactions for ComiXology under "Digital Orders" in my orders dashboard while I was looking for a Kindle book I purchased a long time ago. The transactions for the ComiXology subscription were not listed under "Orders", even though all other transactions (including local store orders and digital orders) appear, so I had no idea at all until I found them by accident.

I navigated to my subscriptions dashboard to find out what was going on and saw a Prime membership also listed!

I had no idea I had either of these subscriptions and had in fact been using my partner's account to use his Prime shipping. I do not recall ever signing up for this or agreeing to these charges, and I have never received any communication or invoices from Amazon to notify me I was being charged on a monthly basis for almost two years.

I went back to my orders dashboard to investigate, but it was quite difficult for me to find the transaction history for Prime, since it does not appear anywhere at all unless you type "prime membership" in the search.

At that point, I reached out to customer service. The first rep me they could not refund more than three months. I was passed to a different rep, who immediately offered to refund six months, and when I told him I had not known about the memberships at all, he asked his lead for permission to refund the whole lot, totaling $383.99. He informed me that permission had been granted and assured me I would see the complete refund within 3-5 business days. Problem solved!

Or so I thought.

Today, I received notice from my bank that six $14.22 refunds and one $5.99 refund had been issued by Amazon to my credit card. I reached back out to customer service to find out what was going on. This rep apologized for their error and promised to escalate it to their manager.

Then I was told that Amazon could only refund up to twelve months of transactions. They said that six more $14.22 refunds and eleven more $5.99 refunds would be issued, but no more, since it is Amazon's policy not to refund past twelve months.

I pointed out that since Amazon had already promised a complete reversal of *all* the transactions, they should follow through, since a written promise from a merchant to a consumer trumps the policy card. They said they were sorry I had been given incorrect information, but there was nothing more they could do. They suggested I dispute the remaining transactions with my bank.

I do not know how I came to be signed up for two subscriptions without my awareness.

If I signed up on accident, I do not know why I did not receive a welcome email, subscription confirmation, or an end of trial alert.

I do not know why these transactions are tucked so far out of sight that it took me two years to find out about the charges.

I do not know why every other company I've had a recurring charge with has emailed me every single time they take my money while Amazon did not.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund of all charges, as promised in writing by Amazon.

Amazon Amazon Refuses Refund for Blatant Double Billing

On Nov. 11, 2020, Amazon correctly billed our credit card for a desk chair for $1344.

On Nov. 30, 2020, Amazon incorrectly billed our credit card again for the same amount.

Amazon Customer Service told us that only the credit card company could correct the error. We disputed the bill three times through the credit card company during spring of 2021, and three times Amazon denied that the billing was an error. That exhausted our option through the credit card company. Discover Card management said that this was the most open-and-shut case of erroneous double billing that they had seen in a long time.

After repeated inquiries, Amazon Customer Service management wrote us an email acknowledging that we had been billed a second time in error. At that time, we were told that the only way to rectify the situation was to pay the disputed charge, and Amazon would grant a refund.

Amazon Customer Service management then informed us that they could not handle such a situation and that we would need to make our case to the Billing Department, who does not speak with customers. The billing department responded to our email by saying that since there was no charge in dispute, they could not issue a refund, and that they had no record of double billing. Our subsequent email with the detailed history of their billing and denying the disputed charge was met with no response.

Amazon Customer Service then escalated the situation in early December, promising a response within two weeks. Our inquiry after four weeks of silence about the specific ticket in the system got the response that any inquiry reopened the issue, and that we could expect a response in two weeks. Not surprisingly, there has been no response.

After more than a year of bureaucratic runaround, it seems that Amazon uses “process” as a means of taking money from customers that doesn’t belong to them (otherwise called stealing).

Desired outcome: An immediate refund of $1344.08.

Amazon They have messed around with my bank account long enough.

I have had a horrible experience with Amazon Prime. When we moved into our new home two years ago, I set up amazon prime video on my smart tv. For months, I was double charged for having that because I already had an account, and the person helping me set up my Smart tv didn't bother to take note of that. Then when I recently had to change my bank card, I was able to purchase items on amazon prime, but I could not get video on my phone. I was able to get video on my tv. I then sent in a question to the robot service asking about this, and I then lost the tv video. I called and spent 20 minutes with a rep who hung up on me. I called back and, despite finally getting to a supervisor, was not able to use my card to get video, despite the fact that this same card bought an item an hour earlier.

I want NOTHING more to do with Amazon Prime. This corporation and its customer service representatives are completely inept when it comes to really serving the customer

About Amazon

Screenshot Amazon
Amazon is a multinational technology company that is based in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the largest online retailers in the world, offering a wide range of products and services to customers across the globe. The company was founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos, and it has since grown to become a household name, with a market capitalization of over $1 trillion.

Amazon's success can be attributed to its innovative business model, which has disrupted traditional retail markets. The company's online platform allows customers to browse and purchase products from a vast selection of categories, including electronics, books, clothing, and household items. Amazon also offers a range of services, such as Amazon Prime, which provides customers with free shipping, access to streaming services, and other benefits.

In addition to its retail operations, Amazon has also expanded into other areas of technology, such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform that provides businesses with a range of services, including storage, computing power, and analytics. AWS is one of the largest cloud computing providers in the world, with a market share of over 30%.

Amazon's success has not been without controversy, however. The company has faced criticism over its treatment of workers, with reports of poor working conditions and low wages. Amazon has also been accused of anti-competitive practices, with some critics arguing that the company's dominance in the retail market gives it an unfair advantage over smaller competitors.

Despite these challenges, Amazon continues to be a major player in the technology industry, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The company's commitment to providing high-quality products and services has helped it to maintain its position as one of the most valuable companies in the world.
