A few days ago, my amazon account was hacked and the perp. tried to charge $200 to my credit card. I immediately disputed this charge and Amazon retaliated by locking me out of my account.
I have twice submitted my drivers license and debit card info to prove my identity but- they demand billing statements i have told them repeatedly that I no longer receive paper statements. They are holding $50 in gift card money hostage

Ulefone delivery error and price difference not honoured

I am very disappointed. I have been lied to repeatedly by you.
I ordered a phone on the 27th Nov in a black friday deal. The price was £123.99.
I was sitting in my living room watching as the amazon delivery status progress (fulfilled by Amazon) changed from 7 stops to my stop. The status then changed to delivered, despite it not being delivered. (LIE 1) I immediately checked with all my neighbours and no sign of it.
I contacted Amazon who suggested that the status had been updated prematurely and I needed to wait for a couple of days as they were unable to take action immediately. (LIE 2)
I did this but still no sign, so I again contacted customer services and asked them to resend my item, which they said was not possible. They however instead agreed to a refund for the phone. I explained that this wasn't a good enough solution as I had got it on a black friday deal and as amazon had lied about delivering it I expected them to honour the price I paid. They explained that they couldn't do this exactly due to the item being from a seller and not amazon. I asked how they would resolve it and suggested they make up the difference in price as they had lied about fulfilling the order causing me to be in this situation. The customer services representative agreed to this suggestion. (TURNS OUT LIE 3) I asked how I should go about getting the money afterwards as I didn't trust amazon due to the lies so far. They said I should take a screenshot of the chat as proof, which I did to the best of my ability. I asked for the conversation in an email but apparently this wasn't an option so it did not happen.
I went on to order the phone again and received this with the use of a one time passcode which worked well.
This second phone cost me £154.99, though a discount of 10% was added through the checkout process. I believe that the phone therefore came to £148.54. This means Amazon needs to make up the difference of £24.55.
I contacted the customer service team again explaining what I was looking for. At that point the first representative (Clinton) dropped out of the chat. The second representative Jen, advised that this was not the policy and simply would not be happening. I explained the conversation I had had with another representative and how I had only agreed to all of this due to them confirming that a payment of the difference would be honoured, but they simply would not accept that this was an option and apologised for the initial representative lying to me. I asked how to complain but they would not answer and only said that I could reply to the email they would send me.
I am extremely unhappy about how this has been handled from start to finish. I had no idea why people were so anti amazon prior to this incident as I always trusted the deliveries and ordering process. I now understand where the distrust come from. And over just £25... My trust has been shattered and I will vote with my feet.
Please do better for your customers. They deserve to be respected, and should be able to expect the truth when paying for your services.

Full postage cost cannot be refunded
I am an overseas customer. I bought a brand new Chromebook on Cyber Monday. When I received the shipment I discovered it was a returned damaged laptop that had been opened. I immediately informed the customer service staff and sent them an email to confirm the return postage ($3000 Hong Kong dollars). They promised to refund the full postage, but now after shipping, Amazon customer service said that the company's policy can only refund a maximum of $150. I lost $179 on this online purchase. Amazon customer service lied to me. Amazon's website says it will issue a full refund for damaged items. Amazon deceives customers.

I went to a store bought a physical gift card for $300 tried to put it on my account and order something and they blocked my account and then refused to refund me. It’s been over a year I’ve called over 47 days in a row and they still refuse to help me I have sent them all the requested documents and proof of purchase. i order a phone while i was in the US since 10th of November i specifically used over night prime shipping so i can get the phone before i leave the United States. day of delivery the agent arrives with the phone asking for a code i had no clue what he was speaking about by the time i left to go check my phone to verify he was already gone . i immediately contacted support and let them know what the issue was they told me she would put in a request to have him pass by the same day to deliver the phone i stayed up til 9pm noone came back. i contacted support again told them my flight is the following day i cannot wait i need the phone or my refund now she some how coaxed me to delay my flight an entire day to wait for the phone the next day. so i added a note to the delivery so that they leave the package i even left the code in the delivery instructions i was in disbelief when the delivery drive came and left before i could even know that anyone was at the door now am beyond pissed i call them up to ask for a refund to day is December 3rd and i havent gotten a dollar back . the service is HORRIBLE.

I have been using Amazon for years without any problems. Also have been aware of Amazon Prime. Not an Amazon merchant so Amazon Prime is not beneficial to me. Have been avoiding subscribing to Amazon every time placing an order without a problem. Well until today. Place an order with (2) items like normal and have made sure not to click on Amazon Prime membership sign up. The order was placed. When checking the receipt email, found out that there are (2) orders instead of 1. Order 2 of 2 are the (2) items I placed. Order 1 of 2 are my Prime Membership confirmation with (30) days free trial. What the ...? I quickly tried to cancel the membership but could not find any link or button that would allow me to cancel. However, I managed to find the Manage Your Prime Membership page. On that page, I was able to stop my subscription in 30 days, but not to cancel it right away. Hum! I looked online and found articles regarding the FTC which has apparently filed a lawsuit against Amazon regarding this Prime Membership tricking issue by Amazon.

I think Amazon should be more active in customer complaints and look into repeated complaints about a company. Ribbon candy was purchased and a ribbed in a box that sounded like shattered glass was inside. Their response was to contact the seller. Checking the bad reviews, most had to do with receiving damaged candy and I think Amazon should take more interest in resolving customer complaints.

Hi I would like to make a complaint regarding your driver/drivers. Our properties which consist of numbers 3,5 and 7 Poppy Way Daventry NN11 4GS are three houses located on a narrow PRIVATE shared access driveway, we do not have a road or pavement outside our houses and there is a sign at the mouth of the driveway warning drivers not to enter. Yet Amazon drivers ignore this sign and drive right onto our access driveway. Sometimes they actually park on our individual driveways or, as a number of times, driven over our lawn! We understand that it is difficult to stop every driver and have grudgingly put up with this behavior. However, the driving is becoming more and more erratic and dangerous. They are driving far too fast onto the access driveway, and then they are reversing off very fast. Yesterday (19/11/23) after delivering a parcel to my house, I noticed that our neighbor’s daughter was walking along towards her house, when the driver clearly did not check his mirrors and reversed very, very close to her. This is an accident waiting to happen. They are driving on to an area which is not a public road. Today I spoke to a driver delivering to number 7 and he just said that he had to do his deliveries. Can you explain how they deliver to blocks of flats or properties without access roads? They should stop outside number 1 Poppy Way, which is part of the public road and walk through to us. I have tried to report this in my orders section but there is nothing there to report the driving. I do not know which depot they are working from. Can you please look into this behaviour and stop the practise before a bad accident happens.

The olives and pasta sauce from one package was delivered with no packing material. All the cans were dented. Nearly all cans sent come dented or a great deal of them. Dented cans reduce the life of the product. Even case lots of cans come dented. Please do something about it, as I love shopping with Amazon.

Last summer I ordered an item, but when I received it, I realized I had ordered the wrong item, so I arranged for a return. While arranging for the return, I saw several different choices as to how to do so. I chose to take my item to a nearby "Amazon drop off" location at a Staples store in town. I stood in line to hand my item to a store employee, who scanned the item and placed it in a returns bin of some sort. I did not get a receipt, but got a coupon which allowed me a discount in the Staples store, because I had used their drop off location for my return. The coupon said I had to make the purchase that day and that it would be void, if I tried to come back to make a purchase. At that time, I did not need to purchase anything at the store, so I threw the coupon in their trash. When I got home, I saw in my email that my refund was enacted because the clerk scanned in my return at the Staples store. I thought nothing more of it, until I got another email about a week or more later, saying that the item had not been received, and that if they did not get the item back by a certain date, they would reverse my refund! I searched and searched...I tried to email them at a couple of different email addresses, but they all got kicked back to me, saying the inbox could not receive any incoming emails, and to try the online "robot" customer service system, which I did, but there was no option to resolve the matter. Long story short, they took back the refund, so I went to my bank, and I got my refund from my bank while they investigated my complaint. A few days after that, Amazon must have lied, and my refund was again reversed! I have since taken all my payment information off of Amazon, and dropped Amazon Prime membership. I now do most of my delivery/shipping orders from Walmart.com, and never worry about their customer service, which has been excellent!

Shipping fees for prime members and delayed shipping
I have been a prime member for over 5 years and when i first signed on i was am i am now a resident of the us virgin islands and i would receive free shipping and then they started charging me ,i would call and complain and i would get a refund but for the last few years they have escalated shipping fees even though i am still a prime member who is entitled to "free"shipping . We in the usvi are in the same usps rate scheme as puerto rico whom amazon does not charge any shipping to prime members ,i feel we should request a refund of all shipping fees and recieve the benefits just as puerto rico does . My second complaint is the super slow shipping of our orders ,when i call to complain i am told it is because you live in the usvi ,but when i explain the items ordered have not even been shipped so how can you justify us waiting weeks for an item to be shipped and i am told it is just that way if no resolution is reached i would like to find a lawyer and create a "class" to file and recover shipping fees and compensation for extended filling of our orders

Failure to follow delivery instructions
Over the past three months I have placed 22 separate orders with Amazon. On 19 of those 22 orders, my very simple, clear delivery instructions were not followed. My deliveries are to be placed on the back porch.
Over the past 3 weeks, I've decided to speak with customer service to complain, rather than just note that the driver failed to follow direction. I have done this 6 different times. Each time, they apologize, and assure me they will take the necessary action to insure it does not happen again. Yet, it continues to happen, and all I've been offered a miniscule account credits.
Desired outcome: I have asked for a free year subscription to Prime and Prime unlimited music and been rejected.
