In the last month it has become impossible to contact customer service in the United States through amazon. You are forced to talk with a foreign entity that does not care and in the background They're laughing at what is going on with you. If you demand to talk to a supervisor above the person you're talking with they put you on indefinite hold and you never get a hold of anybody. I have had numerous packages show up that have had no padding whatsoever in the boxes and the items were literally hanging out of the box when they showed up. The customer service through Amazon doesn't even care and all they tell you is they are sorry you feel that way. This is absolutely evil and it will not be tolerated at all! This company has gone downhill so bad in the last 6 months it needs to be shut down. It will not be tolerated on any level anymore! People are absolutely rude, hang up the phone, swear, and laugh at you! These people are nothing but demons that have came out of the fiery pits of hell. They will not be tolerated.

Desired outcome: Amazon needs shut down until they can get customer service with respect back into the United States and fire every one of these foreign entities.

Funny how Amazon calls the Truth your opinion. The only TRUTH in this sick, evil, fallon, corrupted world is Jesus Christ and he's coming back very soon to end this evil corruption!

I pay a prime membership and my items are continuously late. I ordered a musical instrument and the person I ordered it for is going overseas leaving tonight. I don’t think prime is worth it and talking to a live agent is impossible. I’ll cancel prime and boycott these greedy scumbags. Jeff Bezos is a [censored]

Amazon customers service báncame the worst I ever seen. They are abusing their power and doing whatever they want disregarding, disrespecting and not helping or caring for their customers. One of my orders for over $200 went missing before I received it and now like it is my fault I have to wait for the package to show up and return to their warehouse so they can refund my money. It’s been 10 days and package still not back with Amazon and customer service can’t tell me where package is and keep hanging up on my when I call complaining now. How in the world this can be acceptable behavior from a business? US should create some laws to stop big companies like Amazon abusing their customers. The next step is filling a dispute charge with the credit card that takes forever or paying over $100 to sue them on small court. It’s a hopeless game I would not recommend Amazon to anyone that wants to be valued as a customer. Now I am going out of my way to buy from other store even if I am paying a little more it’s worthy knowing I am not giving this shirt company my hard working money.

amazon does have the worst customer service, so bad I deleted my account. I got locked out my account the young lady tells me that my account can't be unlocked but we can make a new account. I told her I don't want a new account because all of my ebooks are connected to this account. She tells me that they could make a new account with the same email and I can keep my ebooks and purchase history. We make me an new account with my old email. I sign in to my Amazon kindle account and none of my ebooks are there nor purchase history. I tell her she sends me a link to try and sign in to my kindle and it's a link to start a kindle membership. At this point I'm passed because she has deleted all my stuff. I asked for another rep another foreign lady come on and tells me she can't pull up my information. I told her the last rep deleted everything by giving me a new account with the old email. I ask for a supervisor and she proceeds to tell me he's going to say the same thing. He gets on and I just hang up cause he already had an attitude. So all those ebooks I purchase got deleted and I can't get any of my money back for them. If I have to buy it from Amazon then I just won't have it.

I am about to do the same. It is impeccable that there site says my package is lost yet they wont issue credit putting me through hoops saying i need to email over an incident report! What in the world your site says its lost in transit. I do the incident report, CSRV responds that it is not filled out correctly because I put Tracking ID before the Tracking ID Number. I need to only put the number. This is an emailed form... there is no format, and frankly its embarrassing for a million dollar company.

This change is for the worst! Never ever get over emotional but each call has made me more bonkers. They hang up or disconnect chat after telling you filled out a form wrong.

I am completely baffled how bad the customer service is.

Amazon has ridden the wave of online greed and is so successful the only thing in there blurred ego driven eyes is raising yearly subscription rates. Customer service has long been gone. The last time I called, the new money making gimmick was to transfer me to the private cell line of someone that could barely speak english, holding a crying baby, with motorcycles going by in the background. I’ll give them credit for employing more than a million people earth wide. But their company mission was clearly originally based on customer service. But like all those who become successful, they forgot who they once were and how they got where they are.

So let me shine some light on something I found during my adventures with Amazon customer service. First, most if not all of your calls are routed to the country Honduras which secondly is a US hating country thanks to our current President in 2023, don't believe me look it up. 2ng a customer agent once put me on hold only she didn't mute her end which I believe she wanted to do. So I can hear in the back ground other so called thug customer service agents talking about how the people in the US are the biggest crybabies, wine about everything and Americans think we are supposed to get everything for free along with how they love giving us a hard time. 3rd Mean time my package that was sent had been totally destroyed because they threw it on my front lawn when it was raining when my front porch 15ft away inside my front gate was a better option because it has a awning where it could be kept dry. The first thing Amazon needs to do is get rid of this American hating customer service hub in Honduras, they are obviously jealous of our better way of life and want to be as against us as much as possible. Stop buying from Amazon and order directly from American companies. We can also thank Jeffery Preston Bazos because when he stopped over seeing Amazon it went to hell so start by sending the current CEO of Amazon tons of USPS mail to the corporate office with complaints, call your local media, contact the BBB and maybe bring this up to your congress person in your area because they are there to also protect us when there is a dis-service to the people of this here United States of America. We also have issues here in the US with the way they deliver and want to start charging us $7 to pick up a product when they sent the wrong product to begin with, but that is a topic for a different subject.

Hop on the band wagon and ditch the subscription that makes you pay extra for free movies after paying $140.00 per year (with unpopular movies included for free) just to be a member of this once innovating but now suffocating business. Simply wait until your going to spend $25.00 and you get free slower shipping (it usually get here sooner than they say for non subscribers). But more than anything else, it feels GOOD to be liberated from the clutches of the ungrateful giant! I think my money is better spent elsewhere. If you get nervous without Amazon, get the one week $1.99 prime subscription once in a while to splurge on a prime item you may be able to return. Enough of us leave, they will hear us! Person up!

I found out how true all of these complaints must be. you do not receive items and they will only refund with credit to purchase more from Amazon. That is a joke but I am not laughing. I will never use that credit.

Use the credit! Don’t give money to a company worth over a trillion dollars. A company who will reach two trillion dollars if they have to do it while stepping on the backs of every customer they have so they can claw their way there. They solution is to jump ship, cancel the addiction, loose Amazon! I believe we will all feel better and cleaner to quit rubbing elbows with this disgraceful power abusing giant (almost like a government). Frustration is the only thing to lose.

You are right: when they started they had the best customer service: over the years : they shut everything down: you can’t really contact them anymore because they don’t care, I personally can’t stand shopping on Amazon now: Roman went away after about a thousand yrs so will Amazon: nothing in this life last forever: something will be invented or dreamed of the will kill Amazon: I just hope I will be here to see it

Amazon has the worst customer service of any online organisation, bar none. I wanted to get information as my new credit card was not accepted. I went round and around trying to get a contact number or chat .finally got a call back and the phone call dropped. Then there was no way to contact them again No call back nothing. Absolutely terrible system. They obviously do not want to solve customer problems.

I will always use ANYONE but Amazon in future unless it's I cannot get what I want anywhere else.

I thought Aliexpress was bad, but they are paragon of virtue compared to Amazon

I order quite a bit from Amazon. In the last few weeks I have to go find my items when I receive messages that say they are delivered. I have to go on a scavenger hunt to find my items. I should not have to do that.

To top it off I have not figured out how to reach a live customer service agent! I am not satisfied with speaking with a bot on chat or the phone. Not acceptable. Amazon is a successful, top of the market company but their lack of customer service is unforgivable. AND it is unforgivable that I should have to hunt for my items.

I’m happy to see people are catching on to the underhanded sales practices of the the great and powerful Amazon of Oz. Pay no attention to the self appointed god of the void behind that curtain. Maybe a house will fall on the wicked which of the west. And BUY the way don’t forget to help Amazon get trucks of the road (the ones they put there) buy accepting crushed fragile products in flimsy bags and boxes with no packing material. We wanted the free ride and made Amazon the slimy money sucking ooze it is today. However, requiring people to sign in to express an opinion weeds out the good ones.

CUSTOMER DISSERVICE IS AMAZON'S POLICY NOW! Amazon won't withdraw authorization for a $22.00 pending charge on my card. I double ordered and intend to pay $22.00 for one of the items. They claim that within 45 minutes of ordering, at 7AM, it was shipped and their policy doesn't allow cancellations once the item is shipped!
