I ordered 3 x £100 Apple E-Cards twice for who I thought was a friend, but they had been hacked. I immediately called Amazon CS, and was delighted when I was told that they had not been redeemed, she then cancelled the cards, and said I would have a refund in 5 to 7 days. a week later I called back, and was informed that I wasn't getting a refund, and CS agent shouldn't have told me that. Amazon gave me the card numbers, and told to contact Apple, but they said they need the refix 3 letters, and cannot check without the full number, I contacted Amazon again, and they said they don't have it. After many calls, chats,, and emails later (to which I have all the evidence of) amazon will not honour the refund that was promised on the 9th of April, and said there is nothing more they can do, even though it has been escalated to the manager. I have send letters, emails to everyone, and still nothing.
Claimed loss: £600
Desired outcome: Refund as promised by Amazon:
