Albertsons Pharmacy

I have been a loyal Savon Pharmacy patron for as long as Albertsons has had you in the stores. I use the Savon on Division in Eugene.

My complaint is that since the pandemic and the closing of BiMart pharmacies the wait times have grown which is understandable. The Pharmacist and the Techs work their butts off trying to keep up. You folks have changed the rules for ordering twice which is not customer friendly but we work with your policies to ensure that we get are meds. You have started awhile back using an ff site third party to fill meds to try and catch up, but they apparently have their way of doing things, so you follow suite. That to me seems like putting the cart ahead of the horse.

I have a controlled substance that I need monthly originally it would be ready on the due date with out calling in, now we have to call in after 9AM to be put in the que for which you are at the mercy of the size of orders for the day. I have been out of my meds since last night. It's been 14 Hours. I did my duty made 3 calls to finally be able to speak to someone after 9 this morningto get my meds into the que. It is now 1:45 in the after noon no call or text yet. I called and was told they were behind and that it was somewhere in the que for the day. Do you folks think that you could put this orders that allow us older folk to function in the que the day before and filled first for pickup early in the day that the med is due?

I understand that you are busy and I am just one customer but I do bilieve that the customer and common sens service has left your company.

Please help not only me because I know I am not the only one.

Desired outcome: Better service for us that require some meds to live and move freely with little or no pain.

On a regular basis (multiple times a month) the pharmacy is out of stock on fairly common medications. Candesartan being one, however it does vary as to which medication. Albertsons Save-on pharmacy get paid a copay twice.

Diabetic Supplies (Lances and Test Strips) are paid through MEDICARE Part B, not through drug plans. Therefore the same rules apply when it comes to the pharmacy getting paid by Medicare. The bill for the Diabetic Supplies is forwarded to Medicare and then Medicare sends the bill to secondary insurance called a Supplement. This is "automatic" and then the Supplement Insurance pays the patient's co-pay. Therefore the patient never pays a co-pay for Diabetic Supplies as the Supplemental Insurance does.

On [protected] I was charged an $8.32 co-pay for test strips by Save-On Pharmacy (Albertsons) (Store 3513) (I have the receipt) when in fact I have Supplemental Insurance which then paid Save-On $8.32 on Mach 6, 2023. Therefore Save-On got paid two (2) co-pays. One from the customer (me) and the other from my Supplemental Insurance Plan. This was paid under policy number [protected] Globe Life Insurance Co. Medicare Claims Processing Division, McKinney, TX, Control Number: Albertson LLC, [protected] Service Date: 013023.

I presented my receipts and the receipt from Globe Supplemental Insurance to the local pharmacy and they denied refunding me the $8.32 and said I would have to get it from my insurance company. They just do what the computer tells them to do. The computer is programmed wrong. Yet today 3/31/2023 I got my Diabetic Supplies without a co-pay. Please look into this as something is wrong. Desired outcome: I should be refunded $8.32 and "if" there is a glitch in the computer program that does not recognize customers with a Supplement on file, that this be fixed.

Albertsons Sav-On pharmacy prescription deliveries.

Recently we had a terrible ice storm so when I called to have my prescription delivered, I said it wasn't urgent due to the road conditions. I was shocked to see a young woman and her little girl at my door with my prescription. The roads were solid ice! I was so upset, I called the pharmacy and she told me I should have told her not to have it delivered. I tried to find out who to complain to about it but got the runaround. They need to have a policy to only deliver if it is an emergency and if it is, the drivers should have the option do do so and should also get hazard pay! I was disgusted and appalled at their attitude about their employees' safety.

Desired outcome: Create a company policy to protect their employees.

Albertsons Stocking and bagging format in store

Okay no one may care but I have to speak up as to the method of stocking items. All the frozen meals are stacked on end. Does no one realize that it causes the ingredients to slide all to one side. That causes the food to not heat properly as some is hot the rest frozen. It means reheating several times to get it all hot. That means some is now uneatable as its turned into a solid. Same thing happens with those bagers. No one knows how to bag products. heavy items are put on top of chips, bread or fruit. Results? A mess. Also again the frozen food on its side instead of flat. I always have to bag my own items or re-bag it after the bager did it. With the constant raise in food these days it's quite upsetting and this happens every time I shop there. It actually has me looking for another store to shop in as it's been going on since Covid began a few years ago and with the expansion of the frozen foods it's getting much worse.

Albertsons Bakery

I pre ordered cupcakes cakes with the shape of 21 for my son birthday a week before in Albertsons Diamond Bar CA and fully paid it the same day . The day I pick it up 3/20/23, the bakery lady has no clue and didn't have it ready . She said don't worry I will get it ready in10 mins , so I waited and she gave me a standard no decorations cupcakes ! I told her read the receipts , said cupcakes cake in form of number 21 ! She shrugged and said " I don't read it " , and said ok will make it cake. So I waited another 20'mins where she literally just out the cupcakes she has in a board and put icing in the bottom of the cupcakes to secure them and give it to me ! I have to asked for sprinkles which suppose to be there and no writing on them and I was so disappointed and upset . This will be my last purchase to Albertsons bakery ! Unbelievable bad service .

Albertsons Open nature greek strained nonfat yogurt

I initially tried this product because it was less expensive than the Oikos brand I usually buy. The flavor(s) are great and I have no complaint against that.

However, the consistency of these yogurts (ANY flavor) is extremely thin and watery. When you initially open the sealed lid there is always about 1/2 tsp. of watery liquid on top that I have to pour off. The remainder of the carton's yogurt content is so thin a spoon will not stand up in it and it's like eating broth instead of strained Greek yogurt. Makes the yogurt very unappealing when you can literally pour it out of the carton instead of using a spoon.

Compare Open Nature yogurts with Oikos or Chobani name brand yogurts and you will instantly see the difference in textures. Freezing the yogurt and then defrosting only makes it MORE "soupy".

Until I see changes in texture, I am only feeding Open Nature Greek yogurt to my dog!

Desired outcome: The manufacturer to agree with my assessment & alter their process to ensure that Open Nature yogurts are similar in texture to major name brand yogurts

Albertsons SavOn Pharmacy

On March 13, 2023, my PCP called in a prescription for Amlodipine 10mg to Sav-On Pharmacy on Royal Ave in Eugene OR. On March 14, I received a text from the pharmacy advising that Amlodipine 5mg was ready for pick up and the price was $59.69. I immediately called and left a message that the last time I got this med, it was $10.14. Since I did not receive a call back, I called again that afternoon, and twice more on March 15 and once again on March 16. I never received a call back, so I went to the store on March 16. I explained to the pharmacy clerk, Charlene, who was apparently having a bad day, that I called repeatedly and never got a call back. She responded that no one answered those calls. I said it would be nice to say that on the recorded message so the customers wouldn't be wasting their time. She said "we're not responsible for that." I asked why the medication was priced so much higher than before and she said "we're not responsible for the pricing." I then advised her that my PCP had called in a 10mg prescription, not the 5mg. She turned around and called to the pharmacist and said, "can you handle this?" Blossom, the pharmacist approached with a kind, compassionate attitude. I went through the story again and told her I am a chemo patient and a side effect of one of the drugs is hypertension and that I had been out of my med, waiting for a call back, and that my blood pressure was 180/112 that morning. She said, "that's not good." She offered to get me a few pills till this was resolved and that she would call my PCP and get a verbal order and fill it on an urgent basis. She asked me to hang around for a few minutes. I advised her they were closed for lunch and then the pharmacy would be closed, so I was going home. When they opened after the lunch break I received a text that my med was ready and the price had miraculously dropped to $10.97! Charlene was once again at the counter and called Blossom for a consult on my "new" med. Blossom said she had called my PCP and gotten the order. I thanked her for being diligent and professional and getting this done!

I got 8 free (thru my insurance) covid tests from my Albertson's Sav-on pharmacy. When I got home, I checked the expiration date which said 9/22/23 but below that is said "disregard exp. date printed on the pouch which was March, 2023. It also said "made in China". So why would we believe the expiration date was incorrect on the pouch - it was made in China! I brought this up to the pharmacist and she said they got a notification that the exp. date was 6 months after the date on the package - which date and why would we believe that? Needless to say, I threw them all away and now I have none!

Albertsons Cashier

2/27/2023 Lupe, the cashier @ the Albertsons in Rancho San Diego, Ca (El Cajon) was very rude. I tried conversing with her several times but she didn’t acknowledge the small talk. She must hate her job and herself. Y’all need to tel your cashiers to be courteous to the shoppers. I can’t stand rude people when I’m spending hundreds of dollars to shop there.

Desired outcome: I would like for store managers to tell the employees to be courteous to all shoppers. Fire the rude employees.

Albertsons Digital offers

The Albertsons ad has the digital coupons, pizza 1.97 and ice cream is 1.97. My receipt has 2 at 12.98 and three at 6.49 each. This is simple.

However, even I used my phone number and my Safeway card nothing works. Now in the past I just forget about the digital coupons because it’s such a hassle. This time it is to much money.

By the way, at least once a month I have to drive down the street and receive my money from the digital coupons.

Albertsons Pharmacy Tech-pharmacist/Laura

I've recently needed a box of needles for my methotrexate treatments that I take every week. My pharmacy was out and wasn't able to provide them to me. I was told I could get them at Albertson's pharmacy or Walmart. I decided to go to Albertson's pharmacy off of Cleveland Blvd in Caldwell Idaho. When I walked in, I spoke with Laura pharmacy tech. Asked for a box of 10cc diabetic needles so that I can take my sub q treatment and was told that she will not sell me any needles unless I actually get prescribed the medication I am talking about. I gave her my info to call my pharmacy and verify that I do take this medication. At this time more people were lining up to pick up their scripts and could hear everything being said. Laura came back and said, "I see you picked up your methotrexate script in November?" Yes, I did. "Well, you should have needles left from that" No I don't because I buy a box of needles once a year and ran out 2 weeks ago. which I already told her this. "Well, I'm not selling you a box of needles if that is truly what you're using them for" she said! She then told me she will only give me enough needles to last my script and how many do I ACTUALLY need! Everyone is staring at me at this time! Mind you I have been on this treatment for over 12 yrs. and have NEVER in my life been spoken to in this manner to get my needles that I need to take my treatment! Because I couldn't tell her how many needles, I ACTUALLY need for my script she then said, it would be best if your doctor sends a separate prescription for my needles because I'm not selling you a box of needles! I am a St. Alphonsus employee and feel that I was medically discriminated against and my HIPPA rights were violated! I was humiliated! She was condescending towards me as well.

Desired outcome: Re-education of proper protocol for HIPPA!!!!!!! Suspension or termination of pharmacist or tech!!!!!!!!

For the last 5 weeks, this Pharmacy has had no 30 mg. Morphine ER. I am on long term severe pain mgmt. And cannot go without this RX if I do not get it thru this Store I have to pay a huge cash only price and I cannot afford to... Albertsons Pharmacy department name Amy.

I went in Albertsons 3010 Ann Road N.Las Vegas 89031 time 1:45 pm. to pick up my prescriptions. When I got up to pharmacy worker name Ann came to the counter said closed. I said you have a sign up “We are open” and a sign shows the time opening.

She ran out and turned a sign to closed. I asked her what time to open. She said 2:pm. I told her that “She is very rude “

I have a friend who has always brought her service dog in the store with her. One day the store manager heard the dog bark and told her she could not bring her dog in there anymore. I ran into her in the parking lot, and she told me what happened. She was in tears. I have heard her dog bark softly when he wanted a treat which she keeps in her pocket. There are a lot of shoppers who love her dog including myself.

Albertsons Front end management #0832

Attention Albertsons Grocery Store,

I currently work at Albertsons Grocery Store in Harlem, MT. The stores number is #0832.

Misty Mohar and Hollie Modic the front end managers have been making my life and career miserable. They don’t invite me to store parties, events or promotions. They don’t recommend me for employee of the month or give me the hours I desire to work. On December 08,2022 around 4pm mountain standard time, I attempted to clock in and Misty Mohar stood in front and near the time clock to look me up from my shoes to my head like she was going to discharge/ terminate me. She has an unprofessional with Justin Grahm (meat department) and Hollie Modic Book keeper. I worked back up assistant bookkeeper for Hollie Modic about 6-9 months ago. There conduct and professionalism has made me drop hours willing to work. Complain about other associates and colleagues. The three of them need wrote ups and reprimands or dismissal from employment for a better functioning store.

Albertsons Delivery service

Date: 12/2/2022 Delivered: 12:13 PM Order #[protected]

I am a senior citizen who is disabled and confined to a wheelchair. My mobility is severely limited. Consequently, all necessary goods are delivered and handed directly to me by various and numerous vendors/delivery services.

The delivery person did not ring my doorbell as instructed and left nine bags of groceries unattended on the landing which left the items subject to theft. Additionally, the bags blocked my neighbor's door and mine.

In the event of an emergency, we would be trapped in our second-floor apartments as there is only one exit. Please see the attached picture taken by the delivery person. Rather than ring the doorbell, a picture was taken.

It is crucial that delivery is supported by audible notification and items are handed directly to me.

Thank you for your consideration.
