Albertsons

I have gone to the pharmacy, and shopped at this store location (525 College Dr Henderson 89015) for years. I moved from Henderson to Vegas just over a year ago, and I still make the 20-25 minute trip because the staff here is so friendly and professional and was so awesome while I battled cancer. It’s like saying hi to friends every time I go. Well, today that all changed. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and was waved over by a younger black man who I had never seen before. He did not greet me in any way so I said I’m here to pick up my prescription and started to say my last name and date of birth, but he spoke over me asking for my date of birth, so he couldn’t hear me when I gave it. It was pretty rude, but I just repeated it. He then asked for my last name again so I repeated that too. He got my prescription and without looking at me mumbled something about my ID so it took me a second to understand what he said (because there were also five or so other people in the pharmacy most of who looked new too) And then I remembered that I was picking up a prescription that requires an ID. I handed it to him and he said ‘’oh, we’re going to be like that and have an attitude?’’ I was shocked. I can’t believe they would hire someone that would talk to a customer like that. I got very loud and said, I’ve been coming here for years and no one has ever been rude to me, why are you even here? He just laughed and shrugged. This entitled man thinks he works at a nightclub or something and a low class one as well. I love the staff here so this was so disappointing that this location is no longer worth the drive.
