I accidentally booked a property with Caterina House via Airbnb and cancelled within less than one minute. No service was provided, no check-in occurred, and the host suffered no actual loss.
Despite EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU) and my polite requests, the host refused a full refund. Airbnb confirmed that the refund decision is solely with the host, but their response has been unhelpful.
I am sharing this complaint publicly to alert future customers and to request a fair resolution.
