We had a service call on a small electric heating unit in the attic. A service man came out, looked at it, and said AHS would contact us about its repair or replacement. We have yet to hear zillch for the company. With this bad spell of weather, with many days and nights below freezing, we would have been in terrible condition. The saving grace was a fireplace in the family room and the use of space heaters.
But the crowning event was that the well that supplied our water experienced a pump failure. By the time the assigned service finally contacted us, the well had been pulled, with a new pump installed and service restored. As a retired priest on a limited income, we had paid AHS to cover any such expenses. So much for trust.
