We paid for an insurace policy and got a letter saying they are canceling our policy because we didn't turn in all proper signed forms but we have our copies that we took of the originals all signed as proof they are lieing.

My roof and hail damage, and the inside of my has black spots where water has damaged the ceiling. This insurance doesn't want to pay for anything. The inspector that came our there where roofer had to show them where the hail damage was, and she agreed and marked my foot all up, and then receive claim and waiting for a week for them to even provide a claim number to us. This company isn't wanting to pay for anything. I have roof damage and damage to inside ceiling. This is a scam of an insurance company.

I used to have a policy for my manufactured home with Aegis Security Insurance Company. I sold my home and property on November 13, so I decided to cancel my policy. I asked for a refund of the remaining balance. Aegis insurance company told me they sent the refund, but I haven't received it yet. I told them to cancel the check they supposedly sent and issue a new one to my new address. They agreed to do so. I've contacted Aegis 5 times to check on the status of my second check. I called them 3 times and sent two emails, but I still haven't received any answers or the check. They owe me $811.56.

I got hit by a big truck on November 2. He didn't stop at the red light. This is the insurance company for that truck. They sent me an email a few days ago saying they approved my claim and admitted their client was to blame. But now they want me to go through my own insurance company first and then get paid back later. I've been using a rental car for a couple of weeks now. I don't wanna take the chance of not getting my money back. Plus, the cost to fix my car is $8,000, which I don't have right now. So I can't pay upfront and wait for them to pay me back. They need to do something and fix my car already.

I had home owners insurance with Aegis for a few months. I got referred to them by a company called ***. When a storm hit our house and messed up our barn and well, I called Aegis to make a claim. They sent me back to ***, which didn't make sense to me or the folks at *** when I called them. After a bunch of calls going back and forth, I ended up on a 3-way call with *** and Michael H at Aegis. Only then, after getting yelled at, was I able to make my insurance claim. It's been more than a month now and Aegis won't call me back. Their way of doing business seems shady and I still don't have a barn, and they're ignoring my voicemails. I'm scared I got scammed. This is just a quick summary of how they treated me.

I sold my home in Missouri on September 23. I told my agent to cancel my policy and give me back the leftover money. But that didn't happen. In October, I talked to another agent and they said they didn't see any record of me asking to cancel. They said they would put in a request and send me something in the mail. But I haven't gotten anything and they won't answer my emails. When I call, they just tell me to talk to my agent, even though I already did and he didn't do what he was supposed to. He doesn't reply to my emails. I can prove that I sold the property on that date. I should get a refund for two months of my insurance, but no one will talk to me about it. I paid $866 for the whole year. I should get at least $151.38 back because I asked for the policy to end on September 30. I attached a receipt showing the payments I made. The *** County Assessor says the owner is *** and the sale happened on September 23. I attached a screenshot. The policy number is ***.

I had insurance with Aegis for 8 years. Finally, I filed a claim on December 20. They sent an adjuster out on January 25, which was over a month after the loss. The adjuster took pictures, measurements, and everything. They told us that we would hear from them in 7-10 business days. They also advised us not to wait for the claim and to get someone to fix the mold issue, as it had already started. The problem was that a toilet had leaked under the hardwood and subfloor for about a week before we noticed it and fixed it immediately.

After about a month, Ryan P sent a denial letter, stating that it was due to an ongoing problem caused by the mold behind the trim. We were told to get estimates and mail them in, so we got 3 contractors to give us estimates for around $3500-$3900 in damages. All 3 contractors stated that there shouldn't be a denial because there was no way to know that it was leaking under the floor until it was too late. However, since the adjuster came out a month after the claim, the mold had already started to grow. Ryan P argued with me on the phone and then hung up.

My insurance agent said that it fell under accidental and that we had coverage. I really want this settled because the mold is getting worse and I have major health problems.
