Ackermans Phone

I bought a Premio phone at Gallerai Mall IME [protected] only to find out minutes later it was very slow the apps didn't work very well I immediately went back to the store to ask for an exchange and add the amount to purchase the other brand but the cashier refused and I felt I had every right for an exchange

Ackermans Exchange pay off layby for a sale item

Good day hope you well..

I would like to put an complaint.

I did an laybye so today I was payed it off.

Found out one of the items is on sale so I wanted to return it and get it with the sale price.

The store manager didn't want want me to do it.. I told her it's fine then if she doesn't want me to return it to buy it with the sales price let she take it back I don't want it.. She didn't

I called the customer care service the lady who helped me was nandi I was not certified with her help she just said they don't deal with laybers only with accounts its the managers decision what she prefers..

Am really disappointed with ackermans beaufort west branch...

Desired outcome: And exchange also and apology from the manager.

i want a clarity yesterday i made a laybye

on the following day i realized that the top is small size so i go to the shop to do exchange

the manager didnt allow me to do changes she advise that unless i cancelled the laybye or i paid out

my question is the item still the same is only the size i fell like is not fair to me

can someone assist on this issue its urgent

Ackermans Notification sent

I do not appreciate the fact that we get constant auto reminders of our accounts due. We obviously know we need to pay and sending a reminder the Friday and then again today just erks me.

What is even worse is that I already paid it!

Please do not send constant reminders, cause they definitely not "friendly". Send constant reminders to those who don't pay. Please do not send this again or I will go onto Facebook and hello Peter with you guys

Ackermans My account application

It takes more than a month for ackermans to finish my application then i received a sms to collect my card with R1000 credit and the cashier at highland mews centre Klipfontein Witbank say they still need bankstatements cancel my card i am tired of going up and down with documents and you never receive is kind regards Abigail Rheeders [protected]

Ackermans Cash desk customer service

I went to Ackermans on the 23/07 at about 9h05 to do 2 refunds on different slips. I explain to the cashier I first want to refund then buy another pair of shoes which I already had cause I did not have cash to pay the balance to I first need to refund in order to pay up. He still did an exchange call the supervisor which did not even greet and then told me to pay up R60 I said I dont have money. Then shen voided the sale and walked away. The cashier started over again called her again then she authorized and ask me for my cards which I said I dont have. I told them my eft slip shows its a default cards which according to my knowledge is a debit card. They said theh cant help me I then said its fine I will come the following day. After being instore for more than 10 min at the cashdesk no apologies no one ask me if they should keep the shoes for me which I really wanted and they only had one size 12. The service was so bad I dont think that I would ever go back there after my refund tomorrow.

Ackermans Mobicel zoom 16gb - 7 inch tablet

I purchased a phone on the 25 June 2022, only to find out the phone was faulty with the screen the phone had 2 lite cracks which I didn't see in the shop because I was in a rushing, the phone was not sealed they just gave me the phone they used for display and I went back on Sunday to show the the phone but the shop was closed, the phone is not usable at the moment the screen cracked more so they refuse to take the phone back and fix the phone or replace it, they told me even if I buy a phone and the phone dies as soon as I leave the shop there is nothing that they can do, My R1100 in the drain they said I must go fix the phone, what I will do I will take the money I was supposed to pay my account with to fix the phone and I wont pay them again I thought Ackerman's was the best shop that is why I opened an account with them.

If u r serious Abt taking the phone back nd contacting the Ackerman's offices.. ul win the case because they saw it's an old phone and I showed them everything old mo yone and she then said maybe those who sold it to them used it bfor, so I asked y not doing any plan she said but the cashier said they didn't see any scratch on it and the guy too, and just said sorry I should take it to bo my friend to fix it, sorry the shop owner was told a different story and said that manager should call the other one to attend the matter, she refused to call that white guy, Juan is the name

Desired outcome: I want them to fix the phone or replace it because i didn't get time to use the phone the screen cracked more while i was updating the phone, or i have an account with them i wont pay them if they don't fix the phone

Ackermans Premio s54 cell phone

FAULTY PREMIO S54 CELL PHONE

On 18 May 2022 I went shopping at Ackermans Paledi Mall to purchase a cell phone for my 8-year-old daughter. I was convinced in the store that the Premio S54 cell phone was a good buy.

This phone freezes, gets hot, and it gives a warning that it might explode. I’m even afraid it might explode in my daughter’s face. It reflects a message and suddenly it switches itself off. I went to back to Ackermans Paledi mall (in Limpopo Province) to address this matter, all they told me was that the matter is out of their hands, they will just take it back to the supplier and my daughter will stay 3-6 weeks without a phone. I have indicated that I want to add more money and take a different brand. Now here I am sitting with a phone that's literally dysfunctional. I am utterly disappointed.

Desired outcome: I want to add more money and buy a different brand.

Ackermans Cellphones

On 2 June 2022 I purchased 2 cellphones at Ackermans Baywest, Port Elizabeth. Before closing the deal i asked the sales person if the phones which i am wanting to purchase are 4G and he couldn't tell nor could the branch manager. Then the salesperson googled and according to what he googled he confirmed its 4G.

After confirmation from the sales person, i purchased the cellphones. A few days later i found out both cellphones are 3G.

I am highly upset and irrated about this, how can you sell cellphones but you have no knowledge of it. Now i am stuck with 2 cellphones and most probably lost my money unless i get refunded of given new phones that are 4G as requested. as i would never have bought phones if it wasn't 4g

Desired outcome: Please refund my money or replace with 4G cellphones

Ackermans Terms and conditions

March I made a laybe at Ackerman in Phumula Garden, I lost my slip but I was making my payment with my ID and I was told that as long as I have my ID with me the won't be a problem. Today I decided to cancel my laybe since I couldn't afford to pay it. I told the cash I lost my slip and she called her manager ANDILE I was told that since I didn't have my slip with me il get a voucher. I'm so disappointed because I read and read the T&C I never saw where it was state that if you don't have a slip you the a voucher. When I make my payment I never made payment using a voucher. Wat is a use of having an ID keee. I have been at Eastgate and I never heard of such. What is a different between Eastgate and Phumula Garden Ackermans.

Ackermans Ackermans Westgate non compliance to the covid regulations

I visited the Ackermans woman's store at Westgate this afternoon. While shopping I noticed that a staff member not wearing her mask. On top of that she was coughing. I addressed it with her. She apologized but still did not put on her mask. When I got to the toll the same lady, named Precious, was called to assist me. I refused her assistance and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was in the office and very oblivious to what was happening on the floor. I filled her in and she advised that she will address it with the staff member. She however did not seem that interested in the matter. As I exited the store I noticed the staff member still not wearing her mask properly. It was sitting under her nose. The snickering of her and the other ladies around was a clear indication that did not care. I dread to think if she has covid, as she was coughing how many Ackermans clients and staff have been exposed. This is gross negligence as the Ackermans should ensure that their staff are compliant to the covid regulations at all times. This kind off negligence can be fatal to the patrons and other staff.

Ackermans NOKIA C20

i bought a phone brand NOKIA model C20 blue on the 08/05/2022 and use it for 2weeks and it does have a problem of freezing sometimes when it ring it does not give the option of picking it up it will just show you the missed call repair id 02124616045f4 and i have done some research on the phone most of people are complaining about it they say it will go to repair and it will come back doing the same thing and im seriously in need of the for i can afford to buy another phone soon , so can i add another money and take another phone

Ackermans Ackermans DELAREYVILLE

Good day.

Today 24 May around 10:00 I went to Ackermans Delareyville. So the lady at the door said to me i must sanitize, I told her am not going to as i have a medical Hand condition and the Sanitize makes it worse so she said its my Choice and there will be consequences. So i get on with my shopping, when i got to the teller, the do not want to help me. And on Sunday 22 May i were also in the store i bought clothing without anything, when i told the lady at the door i can not sanitize it was no problem but today it is a diffrent story. And the way they handle the whole thing today wash unacceptable. I have my own business and i can not force a cliënt on sanitize I can on wearing a mask! And not even with a medical condition.

Ackermans Labye misplaced at ackermans protea glen mall

I made a laybye at Ackermans protea Glen two weeks ago, I went to the store today and made the full payment of the outstanding amount. I was told to wait for the supervisor by the name lindiwe to bring the item. I waited for 30 minutes then I went to ask why is it taking so long. I was told that they can't find my order. I waited for another 45 minutes and I was told that my items are lost. I asked for a refund and I was told to wait so I decided to go to another to purchase some groceries, when I came back my refund wasn't processed then I had to wait for another 15 minutes for the refund to be done. The supervisor by the name of Lindiwe didn't even apologize. I'm so disappointed by their disgusting service and I will never go back to that store

Ackermans Online Shopping / Tracking (Appalling service)

I have never experienced such bad service from a retailer before.

1. When calling the contact centre line, the line gets dropped, the consultants are not prepared to go the extra mile.

2. You are supposed to be able to track your order online and an expected delivery date should be provide, however, the tracking system does not work. Just tells you an item was dispatched and does not even give you a delivery date

3. Turn around time for delivery to a store is shocking. 5-10 working days. Any other retailer delivers within 3-5 working days to your DOOR.

4. Consultants cannot give clear answers to questions as they are themselves clueless as to their processes

Ackermans really need to revamp their processes inhouse.

I will never order a product online ever again.

In fact, I will never recommend them as their standard in store has also dropped.

I remember growing up and my mom placing lay-byes and making purchases. The service then compared to the service now ... Vast difference

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response as I have already been billed for this product. I cannot even cancel the order. Order number 42282. My contact details are on the order

Ackermans Attitude!!!

When visiting your store on Tuesday the 26/04/2022 at about 14h30 at Clearwater Mall, I was standing in the line to pay there was about 10 customers ahead of me with only 3 tellers. While standing in the line a lady came from the other side not in the que and went ahead of everybody else when asking her if she is going to pay the que is behind me the answer was I don't que I am pregnant well I nearly hit the roof is being pregnant a illness? needles to say I am a pensioner but I have to que. The tellers laughed at my remark which I find very rude and still proceeded helping her! Do old age pensioners get no recognition and why should we get treated this way this is so bad and not acceptable.

Desired outcome: I want to know what the outcome is,or is there discrimination involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also have rights.
