I opened my 1xBet account and successfully placed a sports bet, which I won. When I attempted to withdraw my winnings, 1xBet blocked my account. When I contacted support to ask why, I was told that I must be 21 years old to play on their platform.
Why This Is Unfair and Incorrect:
1. Legal Age in Ethiopia: According to Ethiopian law, the legal age for gambling is 18 years old . I am 20 years old, which means I am legally allowed to gamble in my country. 1xBet's claim that I must be 21 contradicts the local law where I reside.
2. Inconsistent Rules: 1xBet's own general terms often state the minimum age is 18, or the legal age of the jurisdiction. It appears they are arbitrarily applying a "21 years old" rule solely to avoid paying out my legitimate winnings.
3. Withholding Funds: They accepted my deposits and allowed me to place bets while I was 20. They only raised this "age issue" after I won and requested a payout. This is a fraudulent practice to seize winning funds.
What I Want:
1. Unblock my account immediately, as I have not violated any local laws regarding age.
2. Process the full withdrawal of my winnings.
3. If they insist on closing the account due to their internal (but legally questionable) policy, I demand the immediate return of my full account balance (deposit + winnings), as the account was blocked in bad faith after a win.

To summarize my case again for anyone reading: I am a 20-year-old user from Ethiopia, where the legal gambling age is 18. After I won a sports bet and requested a withdrawal, 1xBet blocked my account and claimed I must be 21 years old. This is a false excuse to avoid paying my winnings.
I have checked my complaint status, and there is no official reply from 1xBet. I have also emailed their security department (security-en@1xbet-team.com) and block department (block@1xbet-team.com) as advised in other complaints, but I have received no solution.
My requests remain the same:
1. Unblock my account and process my full withdrawal.
2. If 1xBet insists on closing my account, return my full balance (deposit + winnings) immediately.
I am updating this complaint to show that 1xBet is ignoring customers even on public complaint platforms. I will continue to pursue this through other channels until I receive a fair resolution.
