Woolworths review: Mountain bread wraps that had mould on them for replacement.

I was treated appalling by a staff member when asking for a replacement because I didn’t have a receipt. They were dated April 28th (purchased three days previously). Because I had opened them up. I explained that we check our receipts when we get home and usually bin them (which she said she does the same thing). We don’t always use a card (only on large or home delivery shops).

I have a disability and also explained the inconvenience having to come to store at such a busy time, but needed for dinner.

I asked to talk with a manager and was told she was the manager (Although said later that she would have to explain to here manager later if she replaced).

She eventually replaced them for me, but called me rude in front of other customers and kept repeating it. It was so embarrassing as the store was packed. It was 5.30pm Thursday 13th February 2024 In our local store 670 Chapel St, South Yarra VIC 3141.

I have been shopping here for years and mentioned I would not be returning to this store and was told fine because you’re rude again.

I couldn’t get her name I was so distraught, but she was of Asian appearance,
