Mixed experiences with woolworths online shopping
As a potential customer considering Woolworths for your online shopping needs, it's important to note the mixed experiences shared by other customers. While some have praised the convenience and quality of products, others have expressed frustration with delayed deliveries, incorrect orders, and poor customer service. One customer highlighted the disappointment of waiting weeks for a delivery that never arrived, while another shared their dissatisfaction with the service provided by Woolworths Dash. These reviews indicate a need for improvement in areas such as order accuracy, delivery efficiency, and customer communication. Before making a decision, it's advisable to weigh these experiences and consider your own priorities when it comes to online shopping.
Isle completely blocked by woolworths workers
Over the last few months i have been so frustrated with woolworths when i go to your stores in NSW or SA, a simple task of trying to to even get down some of your isles with a trolley is so frustrating, when your staff are packing shelves or selecting groceries for online customers do you think they would have the decency to locate their trolley/carts to one side of the isle for your customers to keep moving. So frustrating when the whole isle is blocked by your staff and you continually have to stop and wait for them to finish their task, what is even worse is that they see you waiting and just keep doing their task and dont even try and move to the side of the isle to keep traffic flowing. Do you think you could add this to your training sessions for your staff because it is very frustaing and slows down your customers.
Recommendation: Train your staff to respect your customers and locate their trolleys to side of isle.

In-store loss prevention inappropriate targeting women
I was in Woolworths Mount Druitt approximately 4 o’clock this afternoon 1st April, I had a small hand bag and a empty trolley I was wearing a crop shirt, high top shorts, As soon as I entered the store before I even touched a product the install security man , Immediately obviously begin following me. I urge you to go view the footage as he followed me for at least 15 minutes every aisle he walked multiple times looked in my trolley in the aisle getting extremely close to me. I was conscious that there was A moment He again walk past close, observed everything in my trolley and then observed me looking me completely up and down I was very self-conscious he was looking down my top
At one point, I looked at him and said are you right , I believe that was the baby section . he said nothing but continue to follow me then in another language to spoke to a 2nd man and later a 3 rd
he just pointed towards me they both were looking at me. I was standing next to the security doors as by now I was afraid and for my safety and I was hoping a Woolworth Employee would walk out
I’ll began to have a panic attack. I do suffer and an anxiety disorder. And diagnosed PTSD
I’m actually a domestic violence victim survivor and I have all the paperwork and court papers. I was stalk intimidated and harassed. I had to live in a refuge with me and my three small girls my ex admitted to having people follow me. ,
It’s been years for me to be able to go to the shops without a Anxiety attack
Having these men I don’t even know if the other two were prevention
but the 1st one was definitely follow me through the whole store , iv never stolen i actually use to work in that very store and as loss Prevention and I know that it is illegal what he was doing, If I was a man, I doubt he would’ve been following me
I ultimately went to the staff team member to see voice My concerns I was crying visibly upset, She told me what did I want her to do?
It was a Customer who I’ve never met before ,who approach me asked me if I was okay offer to walk me to my car she said that Lost prevention had followed her last week and actually followed her mother to the car . It was 430 in the afternoon when I rushed to my car. I’ve gotta worry about men in the car park but now I have to worry about your employees in the store.
The team member asked me what did I want
I want to be able to shop safely in Woolworths. I want to know that I can send my teenage daughter in there not tell her she needs to watch out for your employees because they’re predators. I don’t know what would’ve happened if that Customer didn’t approach me because that prevention man didn’t even come to look through my bags when I left.
I highly doubt I’m the only person ,the only woman To have had this experience
Just say the lack of Care from the Woolworths employee was disgraceful
I was intimidated stalked and harassed and it’s all on camera in one of your stores, I just wanted to do my shopping. I generally believe my safety was at risk I no longer feel safe in your store. This is just a courtesy complaint. I’m not gonna wait for another woman or my daughter To have that experience, nobody should feel threatened in a Woolworths store. I’m actually in disbelief and horrified. I will be reporting it because it’s not okay even if Woolworths doesn’t care.

Woolworths home brand: australian baked: mixed berry mince pies (6 pkt 360g golden baked pies)
On Thursday, 19 December 2024, I purchased the above product, Woolworths Home Brand: Australian Baked: Mixed Berry Mince Pies (6 Pkt 360g Golden Baked Pies) for $5.50, at Woolworths Deception Bay, Marketplace, Corner of Deception Bay Road and Bay Avenue, Deception Bay. In my haste, I foolishly just looked at the picture on the front of the box which clearly displayed the mince starts covered with icing sugar and it wasn’t until I got home, that I realised there was no icing sugar at all on the mince tarts. This was very disappointing and as far as I’m concerned, false advertising as the photograph clearly shows that the mince tarts are definitely covered with a dusting of icing sugar. I went back to the store, and revisited the stock pile of these tarts, only to discover that none of them were covered with icing sugar, as displayed on the box.
This afternoon, I called in once again to Woolworths at Deception Bay, Marketplace to buy two tubs of the Bulla 2 litre Boysenberry Iceream which is currently on special, half price for $5.50. Once again I was very disappointed to find they had none in stock and we’re not sure it they would be getting any more in for tomorrow, when this weekly special finishes. I didn’t think this was a problem because I thought I could just get a ‘Raincheck’ to purchase them at this reduced price when the stock became available. However, I was very disheartened to hear that you no longer issue these vouchers.
Your sincerely
Disappointed Customer

Vegetables combo
I very disappointed in the quality of the vegetables combo which I bought on the 2nd of June and wanted to cook a few days later and realized that half of the vegetables packs is rotten.I'm dissapointed as I waste my money. I had to throw it away.. I always buy the combo, but after this I will never buy vegetable combos from Woolworths Tygervalley. Highly disappointed!.
Thank you.

Sharon on the express check out in your Wanniassa store was rude and completely out of line this evening at 6.35pm. She was serving and having a good old chat to a lady who had a full trolley (going through the express checkout) which I always thought was 12 items or less but I could be wrong. When I asked Sharon if another register could be opened she...
Read full review of WoolworthsMountain bread wraps that had mould on them for replacement.
I was treated appalling by a staff member when asking for a replacement because I didn’t have a receipt. They were dated April 28th (purchased three days previously). Because I had opened them up. I explained that we check our receipts when we get home and usually bin them (which she said she does the same thing). We don’t always use a card (only on large or home delivery shops).
I have a disability and also explained the inconvenience having to come to store at such a busy time, but needed for dinner.
I asked to talk with a manager and was told she was the manager (Although said later that she would have to explain to here manager later if she replaced).
She eventually replaced them for me, but called me rude in front of other customers and kept repeating it. It was so embarrassing as the store was packed. It was 5.30pm Thursday 13th February 2024 In our local store 670 Chapel St, South Yarra VIC 3141.
I have been shopping here for years and mentioned I would not be returning to this store and was told fine because you’re rude again.
I couldn’t get her name I was so distraught, but she was of Asian appearance,

Beef eye fillet steak
I shop at Woolworths Glenmore Park NSW Australia. I have Coles and Aldi all in the same complex, but I have been loyal to Woolworths which I have shopped at for more than 30 years.
Today 28/01/24 I was shopping and saw Beef Eye Fillet steaks the clearance rack with a special sticker on them. I put three packets in my trolley.
When checking out I questioned why I was charged the marked price. I asked them to check, and I was told that marked price wad the clearance special price? This was the full price I normally pay.
Why would they put these steaks on a clearance racked with stickers on them marked on special?
Desired outcome: That someone will care that this is not the right way to treat a loyal customer.

Security guards
I arrived at Woolworths Alice springs at 7.15pm only to be ordered to promptly leave by two security guards, who shouted at me rudely and aggressively telling me the Woolworths that used to be open till midnight was now shut at 7pm. It wasn't the fact that it was shutting much earlier than expected it was the unnecessarily rude and angry approach seeing as the carpark was open with cars inside. Woolworths should teach their security guards how to be polite and reasonable to the customers. I am going to Coles after this horrible experience.
Desired outcome: I would like Woolworths to train their security guards to be more normal and polite in their manners and ways.

Mouldy bread
Good evening
Upon shopping at Woolworths gateway today I noticed a number of wondersoft white bread loaves to contain mould .. whilst still well within use by dates.
I purchased a loaf thinking had no visible mould and upon going through checkout I formed operator of what I had just seen .
Upon getting home I realised my breed is also mouldy .
I rang gateway spoke to manager and informed them of the situation .. citing I’m more concerned about the existing loaves on the shelf potentially infecting a customer rather than my refund .
He continued to inform me that he will pass my message on to bakery managers etc to investigate .. and that’s all that will happen .
One would expect with an informative call of the current situation one would take it upon themselves to go and inspect and remove any or all of the items .
I took the time out to call and inform the store of the situation but I think I would have got a better response by telling my 2 year old budgerigar about the situation .
How many loaves are going to be sold before the bakery manager inspects the new stock .
The CURRENT STOCK IS INFECTED AND THE MANAGER HAS NO CARE OR SEES FIT YO TAKE IT UPON HIMSELF TO INSPECT .
Absolutely disgusted .
Sent from my iPhone
Desired outcome: Remove infected loaves immediately … it’s not rocket science

Fresh cream filled donuts.
I bought these on the 19th January, and once we had eaten 5 , I looked at the container they came in, and it is absolutely disgusting. I have Radiation Colitis, and this is my ultimate nightmare.I seriously cannot believe someone could not have seen this.
I’m not sure what else you need , these photos show the absolute disgrace on the bottom of this tray , the filth sitting in the grooves and the centre badge.
Desired outcome: I would like more than a refund.

Bad policy
After spending $200 on shopping I needed cash out, but not enough in till, so sent to service desk to queue again, only to be told I would have to purchase something else to get cash out and queue again. I am elderly and have vision problems which is why I get cash out and shop at Woolworths.. I feel this is discriminatory and totally unfair to loyal shoppers. I think this policy should be revoked and customers related in a humane and fair way

No Australia Day goods
Your decision to take away customers choice to buy or not to buy Australia Day merchandise, is a very poor one.
Why would you not let the customers decide?
Corporations should stay out of politics and stick to what they know.
You have lost me as a customer, I have not set foot inside one of your stores since and intend not to in future.
PS I do not believe that sales in this merchandise were decreasing, in fact based on the voice resounding NO vote, l am sure it would have been the opposite.
Claimed loss: It’s your loss not mine

Lack of Australia Day support in stores.
Happy Diwali is covered by your stores.
Happy Ramadan is also covered.
Your stores have dumped Australia dsy, yet you trade in Australia, and expect to trade with Australian people.
Your removal of Australia Day support while you support celebrations of other cultures is incomprehensible and disgraceful.
You are losing the support of many previously loyal customers.
People ARE talking about this, make no mistake.
Claimed loss: Loss of Australian culture.
Desired outcome: Please do not remove Australian cultural celebration support while supporting foreign cultures while in Australia.

Credit card
I called Woolworth to stop my card and also order a new card. When I called I went through telephonic prompts that led me to the credit card option. SPOKE TO AN AGENT THAT WAS RUDE AND WITH BAD SERVICE. What was bad is he asked me I want to stop which card because I have many accounts. WHAT IS THAT. I choose credit card option and I specifically said I would like to stop my Woolworth credit card. So which many accounts. He became defensive don't know for what. Right now I see R110 charged on my credit card when I check on the Woolworth application. Don't know what is that for because I never got any communication my card is stopped or even a message. Don't know if there was a new credit card orders. When I get angry he says he can't hear me. I was extremely made a fool. Iam disappointed and would like to say. The agent that assisted me is very comfortable at work with no care, sense of agency and lacks passion. Which affects us as clients at the end of the day. To get who the agent is. Check who processed that R110 on my credit card. Because with him again. Woolworth finance no.

Incorrect special
DISAPPOINTED! I have being shopping here for 5 years +, but the staff were rude beyond, the lady from the change room, screamed at us ,she was not professional and was arrogant, like this weekend was the black november special and when I was purchasing an item today [27/11/2023] they stated it was the last day for the special but because I was paying when it was they closing time, they refused to give me the item that was on special! The manager was removing the special boards while there were customers! I am a retail manager but I do not treat customers the way they behaved! We all work hard for our money and customer service is important but I am disappointed for being treated this way and I guess, I will never step in that woolworths again because of the service from the staff! They need proper training and do not to be in a rush and arrogant, while customers are still in store! We all work hard for our money but patience is important and shows customers ,that the service is good!
Desired outcome: To train staff and get my discount
Bad service - store manager
yesterday when shopping at Revesby, i saw a discounted ticket on the Pedigree dry food 8 KG, I bought but discovered the price was not as per discounted, i spoke with staff they want and could not see the discounted price, so i went and got it for them, I was demanding as per Woolworth policy to get it for free. store manager (Saleeb) was very aggressive and unprofessional and refused and threatened to ban me from store. after negotiation i was given the price discounted to keep me quiet and they destroyed all evidence.
attached are the two receipts to prove my point. I was planning to make a police complaint due to the aggressive threatening language used.
Desired outcome: displume staff store manager (Saleeb), get item for free as per Woolworth policy.
