Wendy’s Cash Only. No Debit or Credit.

In the drive through I got to the order station. A sign on the speaker read - Cash Only. No debit or credit. There is no sign at the beginning of the lineup, so I when I get to the sign I have no choice but to continue. Cars behind me so there is no way to exit. Wendy's is lucky I had just enough to pay for my order. No explanation is given why cash was required. The rest of the business locations in the same plaza did still accept debit or credit. Not everyone carry a cash. The sign should be at the beginning of the drive through, not in the middle.

Desired outcome: Fix the problem. Put the cash only sign at the beginning of the line.

Wendy’s Wendys

Placed my order by mobile app. Received food for the family. When I received my Taco Salad I ordered an extra large chili expecting to get chips / 2 sour creams / salsa. I even ordered crackers.

All I received was my 2 chilis and salad.

I did not receive the other stuff that goes with it. I tried to call the store and there phone line were no accepting calls. I tried call the 1-800- I was on hold for 7 minutes so I hung up. I would like to have my entire ordered replaced. We live 25 minutes away so we didn’t drive back. We did not get any silverware or napkins.

Desired outcome: Our dinner replaced.

Wendy’s Chicken Sandwich

Several years ago I quit buying all fast food except for Wendy’s. Wendy’s has the freshest food always delicious and always good, until tonight. I went through a drive-through and ordered the classic chicken sandwich combo.

I took it to my room and I’ve never had a chicken sandwich like this. It was like shredded chicken and it one point I started choking pulled the whole thing out of my mouth and it was one long strip that couldn’t be chewed it was halfway down my throat to all the way to the front of my mouth. Prior to that I had pieces I couldn’t eat and would spit and in the empty french fry box that I had emptyed. by the end of the dinner, and I was hungry the french fry box was full. I don’t No what happened but it was pretty frightening and very disappointing considering the great track record I’ve had with Wendy’s. I am guessing that Wendy’s change the quality of the chicken sandwich because there’s no way this was normal. Thank you for your time.

Wendy’s Mold on a Wendy's order

I have a daughter in the Marine Corps with a family stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC and I saw a FB post today regarding a woman who is 8 months pregnant and was dining at Wendy's on the base yesterday and when she opened her food, which I don't even know what it is/was, but you can see what looks like "mold" on the bread. It has to be one of the most disgusting things I've seen, for a fast food restaurant ON A MILITARY INSTALLATION, serving those who serve our country, being served something as nasty-looking as this! I'm a 27 year veteran myself with another daughter in the Navy, a son in the Air Force AND a grandson, who is also a Marine, stationed at Cherry Point, NC.

I was just recently at Camp Lejeune, myself, from 3 to 23 July (vacationing from Florida) and I'm glad I did not have my daughter and grandkids eating there. I can only wonder how often this is happening there, or even possibly somewhere else. Where's the leadership and "QA"? Obviously somewhere else!

Desired outcome: I would really like to know what Wendy's corporate will/would do about something like this. Could have been anywhere, but on a military installation?? Thank you!

The LaPorte, Indiana Wendy's needs some much needed attention from someone at corporate. After this email, I will be contacting the health dept. Between the yelling and all of the staff being outside smoking and not manning their areas during a lunch hour. There are young high school kids with no direction and no understanding on what to do. This is terrible and needs to be addressed.

Wendy’s service

I visited the wendys at 1336 Q Street lincoln nebraska. I walked into the lobby at 9:50pm and the sign on the door said the lobby closed at 10pm. The employee then tells me the lobby is closed. I asked if I could make my order and they told me no. They said they were closing early tonight. They were on their phones sitting on the counter doing nothing. They were not busy. They had about 5 employees in the restaurant doing nothing. They were being lazy and just didnt want to work anymore. I travel and need to order dinner.

I then went to Arbys next door and they close at 10pm also and I walked in to 9:55pm and they had no problem waiting on me with a smile. So arbys got my money tonight instead of Wendys.

This is totally unacceptable service and should not be tolerated. This was not due to lack of staff.

The standards have been dropped and I should have been waited on.

Wendy’s Strawberry salad

I ordered this, looks great on the menu, and it contained less than ONE strawberry cut up. I called my local store on Dixie Ave, Elizabethtown KY and spoke to Heather who said they would replace it free of charge the next day. They did, and once again it contained less than one strawberry cut up. Strawberry salad... Since you only say strawberry instead of strawberries you think you can get away with this? Well look at your photo on the menu, it is LOADED with strawberr (IES) as in PLURAL strawberries, not one singular strawberry.

I have nearly stopped going to Wendy’s all together due to the rudeness. Even if all you order is a fry, you are charged 0.50$ per sauce. None is free at all! I thought sauce was sort of a complimentary thing? Is this normal, no where else does this but Wendy’s! (Whiteville NC) Not to mention lately Everytime I order, the whole order is wrong.

Wendy’s hot and crispy fries

I already sent in a complaint with the receipt number and full complaint a few weeks ago, but when I went to submit it there was a "technical error", so no one saw it. I went to the Cranberry twp, PA Wendy's in the Cranberry mall. We ordered burgers and fries, after hearing how they were better than McDonalds. The fries were lukewarm and bendable. I took them back for new ones and basically got another dry lukewarm bendable order. Big disappointment and not good at all. The burger I ordered with lettuce pickle and mayo had exactly 2 pickles in the lower corner of the burger with a quarter piece of lettuce. We won't be back. They used to be soooo good years ago. What a shame.

Wendy’s frosty

First

I have enjoyed the Frosty's from New York to Florida

They have been overall consistent

One exception

Main St in Cortlandt NY where they induce enough air to the mix that it was noticed and not really enjoyed

Purchasing the frosty at this location on two separate occasions approximately 3 months apart

After viewing the commercials for the Frosty.s I was reminded of my disappointment and now writing

Wendy’s Rip off

I ordered food from door dash and I only received part of my or I only received two drinks and a salad I was missing my chicken sandwich a medium frie and a small frie I asked my driver weres the rest of my food he tells me that they were arguing and he did get the rest of my food they were closed wen I went up there and asked for the rest of my food I was very disappointed because my mouth was set on having my order the restaurant needs to be in order because that’s just crazy
