I ordered and payed online with a pick up at the store. One of the items I ordered was a bathroom cleaner with bleach. In their infinite wisdom the bleach was in a thin plastic vegetable bag open atthe top. It was placed in the basket with the rest of my order including FOOD.
If you guessed that the bleach leaked you would be correct. The Walmart employee tightened the top put it back in the bag and handed it to me with avacaados Ala bleach, bananas Ala bleach - everything was soaked in bathroom cleaner and the wiz kid is handing it to me as if I'm supposed to take it and say thank you.
Silly me. I said take the entire order back and issue a refund. Well that was above his pay grade. I waited for his supervisor who had to call the department manager . . . I won't bore you with the rest. No one had the common sense to say hey let me get this order for you personally, or how can wec make this right. . . A solution was above all of their pay grade - aparently so is a refund because3 I still haven't received a confirmation e-mail or the refund. Visa will be my next call.
There is no customer service phone number. The store operator didn't answer after 20 plus rings. I tried on the ride home. The supervisor and the department manager tell you call 1(800) WALMART. The same as offcie as 1(800) GO FUDGE YOURSELF. Walmart does not want to hear about a problem because they can't be bothered solving what must be a plethora of problems created by their employees. It less expensive to loose a customer than to fix a problem that common sense should have avoided. Think what bleach would do to you car, carpet and your clothes. They dodged a bullet. This could have been very expensive for Walmart if I took the bags soaked in bleach from the thoughtless employee withiut realizing what happened.
Recommendation: If you shop Walmart - go to the store. You'll know what you are getting.
With such poor English, you have NO RIGHT to insult anyone.
