I purchased a Consumer Cellular phone as a Christmas gift on 12-17-2022. The gift was not well received nor what was expected so I attempted to return to store on [protected]. I was informed at that time the return window for the phone was only 14 days from purchase. There is NO sign at the display case stating this nor was any such policy stated on the receipt. In my opinion this is a bogus and fraudulent policy. Walmart has my $200 and I have a new, unopened, sealed and not tampered with phone in package they will not accept back. I see why more and more people are opting to shop elsewhere. If I had been told or seen this was their policy, I would have purchased at Target or from Consumer Directly. There ought to be legal safeguards in place to end retailers from this type of activity.
Desired outcome: I would like the purchase refunded back to my Walmart Mastercard.
