walgreens almost always seems to have really rude incompetent and stupid pharmarcists...for some reason...i went to a walgreens on lake underhill in the past and another and both said they couldn't get my insurance to accept it or waht not-- then once had to speak to my mother and they figured it all out--why can pharmacists not figure out how to get medications accepted by insurance? idiots? they went to school for 4 years you'd think they know? Now first recently, I went to one walgreens down the street--the rude pharmacist who was hispanic seemed to be very rude and short with me...he said that i could come back and get my prescription...I asked him if my insurance accepted it--he said it would take 15 minutes to figure out...and just sent me on my way...I had asked him before...if I will be able to pick it up and he said yes. 5 hours later i came back to find out that they didnt have the prescriptions...what idiots..why not explain that beforehand and why be so quick to send a customer off before finding out vital information? I already knew I was going to get screwed over then. At that same pharmacy--a male pharmacist too had been treating me oddly...I went with two prescriptions and the ### said he couldnt' fill both---they were for ear drops...like seriously...you can't fill drops for a customer...what do u think...its dangerous or something? he made some bogus claim about it being his 'job' and maybe it was but ive never encountered a pharmacist that wouldnt' fill two prescriptions b/c the drops both did 'different things' huh? its not up to him to decide its up to the doctor and ie xplained to him i wasnt planning on taknig both drops at the same time but would like to have them anyway-- the idiot declined and I think he was just being a jerk like many of the idiotic incompetent MALE pharmacists you find at walgreens it seems or bad pharmacists period...maybe that is what they are supposed to do but i doubt it.

So b/c the other stupid walgreens failed to inform me they didnt have the medication i needed i had to go to another...the walgreens at lake underhill where again in encountered not just a rude pharmacist but another incompetent ###...immediately I could tell he was going to basically screw me over or there would be an 'insurance problem"...just because...there has to be a problem there and its the place there were many problems before...I gave him my info and he said it would 15 mins to get info on it--he wasn't friendly either just rude...like same thing..he wanted to get rid of me and didnt have a nice tone of voice or attitude. Then I went back and he told me it was declined...and i said that i just had prescription filled less than a month ago and it should work and if they tried something else etc...of course being the lazy incompetent jerks they are...he had no interest in caring or trying...he was also just rude like giving me a 'get out of here' type attitude...or as if he just didn't care at all...then i left...then I spoke to a family member who told me i had to focus on some other card and to go back and explain to them this and that--what she talked to them about in the past...and i went back and of course...again he came back after a while and was again rude and said Ok we can try it...and then took my prescriptions and i realized they wouldnt get it right so i drove back to get my prescriptions...when I went back he said it declined and i said well the other walgreens it worked...he said rudely "well yeah thats b/c its during the day and they can CALL the companies we CANT do that now at NIGHT"...he was just rude and stupid...and then said "DO you want your prescriptions back"? or he said it in a very rude way very bad service...unattentive...basically claiming they had no clue how to get the insurance right (though they had got it right at night several times and so did another walgreens once)...he really just didn't care to get it right and didn't care at all about the customer which is ridiculous...just bad service...stupid pharmacists who are rude and dont care about customers...and act stand offish and seem to want them to leave or go away...so i spent about an hour with no resolution and a rude pharmacist who didn't care about getting my prescription right...walgreens is an awful place for customers with some of the worst dumbest pharmacists you can find...and they pay these ###s 50/hour just to screw up customers prescriptions... thats pathetic...

I believe there is a common denominator in all your awful experiences. YOU. Maybe you, and your attitude are the issue. Just a guess.

Are you SERIOUS? Are you even a Walgreen's customer? Walgreen's stores have the rudest pharmacists on earth. It's a terrible pharmacy.

When my doctor prescribed atenolol, The pharmacy technician had 3 prescriptions of albuterol filled instead. One is blood pressure medication and the other is an inhaler. When I asked pharmacy tech, he said these were the same thing. I asked why one was a pill and one was an inhaler, he didn't know. I changed my pharmacy to King Soopers 30 secs after leaving there store! These low IQ'd walgreens employess are dangerous. This store is in Colorado Springs, CO on Uintah and 19th street. Beware!

Also they have to try and fix the problem on their own or call the insurance company and half the time it's because the patient gives the wrong card or information

They don't learn how to fix insurances in pharmacy school. You should look up or ask before making a comment like that

I believe a B.S. Pharm. degree is a 5 year program.
