Walgreens Photo

I had thank you cards printed using Walgreens photo pre-designed cards.

The only part of the card I customized was the "from" name on the front, the photo used and a custom message on the inside of the card. It was marketed as a thank you card and has "Many Thanks" as the text on the front that cannot be edited.

After picking up the order I found that the cards were printed with "Merry Christmas" all over the back of the card. When reviewing online I found that is the default setting for this thank you card. You have to manually go in and select a plain white background.

I didn't view the back of the card before printing because I didn't make any changes and never could have imagined this would be the text included as default.

These cards are being sent to people who attended/sent flowers/made memorial donations for my father-in-law's recent funeral, and therefore cannot be used with this mistake.

Desired outcome: Please refund the amount spent on these cards.

Walgreens Ignored by entire pharmacy for 15 minutes while in correct line at vaccine appointment

On August 23, 2022 I arrived at the Walgreens Store at 245 S Main Street in Clinton, TN exactly on time for my 3:00pm Covid-19 and pneumonia boosters. There were two separate, clearly marked lines: one for drop off/pick up prescriptions, and the other with a prominent sign: Covid-19 vaccinations. I walked straight to the Covid vaccination counter, which was empty. A technician ("Becca") no more than 3 feet away was very cheerily helping customers in the other line as they gradually entered (only one was there when I arrived). An employee working the drive-through made eye contact with me as she walked by multiple times to get customers' medications. A pharmacist sat working about 6 feet away from Becca and made eye contact with me 3-4 times. Over the next 15 minutes I spent my time at the Covid vaccine counter searching for my insurance card in my purse; reading things on my cell phone; watching customers walk in, get in line and get waited on by Becca; gazing at the drug bins; watching the pharmacist and other technician work; checking my watch and more. I was annoyed that not one of the employees had even acknowledged my presence even when I had arrived, but speculated that someone dedicated as a vaccination worker would appear. Having made eye contact with the pharmacist, I assumed he would assist me as soon as he was able. When no more cars were at the drive-through, I was astounded when that employee stood with her back to me, tapping her fingers on the counter. I said in a clear voice, "Excuse me - I'm here to get my Covid vaccination". "Becca" addressed me, "You need to get in this line", referring to the line she had been working for the previous 15 minutes while I stood within arm's reach from her. I responded, "I'm in the Covid vaccination line." She said, "There's only one of us here." When I said, "I've been standing here for 15 minutes" she said, "I thought you just put your purse down there to go through it." When I got in the "drop off/pick up prescriptions" line, the customer in front of me turned, raised her eyes, and said, "You would think they'd take that sign down" (referring to the sign that designated the other line as specific for Covid vaccinations). I said, "Thank you. You'd think they wouldn't ignore me for 15 minutes either!" I then told her that I was going to leave after that kind of treatment, but half way out of the store I turned back to tell the employees why I was leaving. I said, "You didn't even acknowledge me, and I was NOT going through my purse for 15 minutes! I am leaving." Becca said in her cheery voice, "Alright. Goodbye Ma'am." What an incredibly insulting and bizarre experience. I have already told three friends from this area my experience and advised them never to go to that store. Whenever I have the choice to go to another drug store, I will choose anything other than Walgreens.

Desired outcome: Verbal and written reprimands about the inappropriate behavior, and follow-up evaluations. Kindergartners would be reprimanded for treating their peers this way. Sadly, these adults will change only if their jobs are threatened.

Walgreens pharmacy and pharmacist

The pharmacist thinks they know more than my Doctor and my insurance company. Apparently, they have me flagged as some kind of criminal because I got a narcotic while waiting for surgery. First, they decided the Doctor had written for too many (the pain management clinic I go to has a second doctor review all prescriptions before it's transmitted to the pharmacy) so they cut the quantity and canceled the rest. Then they informed me that I should be on a long acting med. So, the next month I got the long acting and some short acting like they told me. As a result, the cost went from $14 to $90.

My insurance allows me to get the med at the 29 day mark. They just told me that even though the Doctor wrote it saying I could get it at 29 days Walgreens says I CANNOT have my med until 30 days no matter what the circumstances. My MIL just died and the funeral is all the way across the country in 2 days. So, I have to choose whether to go to the funeral (without pain meds) of a woman who has been a mother to me for 45 years or wait for the pain med and miss the funeral since I cannot drive across the country in one day.

Walgreen's will never get my business again for anything. Not that they care, obviously.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the pharmacists and the store manager. If I could make it happen, I would ask Tricare to switch back to CVS and no disabled Veteran would be treated like a criminal by them ever again.

Walgreens Service

On Monday 15 August 2022 I took a written prescription to the Walgreens on Rose and Gonzales in Oxnard. The employee there by the name Alex. The reason my prescriptions had to be handwritten by my pain management Dr who is in Camarillo is because they had no electricity so Alex says to me that ALL the top lines had to be filled out I had to drive back to Camarillo and by the way my written prescriptions had the date written, my full name and my DOB but Alex wouldn’t except it. My pain management Dr tells me the law requires only the fields he filled in not my address, gendar, and my phone number but he filled it out anyways. This person is so rude and moody all the times I’ve been dealing with her and I would appreciate it if someone speaks to her and gets this matter resolved. I’ve been getting my prescriptions there for years this started when she began working there. I am a customer and I think I should be treated with respect because Alex is very rude in the phone and in person. I’m just asking that this matter will get resolved with her. Thank you! I’ve never ever had any problems with anyone like her up until she started working there. She seems to have a personal personal problem with me and I don’t know why and I don’t appreciate her to treat me in the manner that she performs. Thank you

Desired outcome: Please please have a talk with her. I’m probably not the only one she’s rude to

Walgreens Employee made up his own walgreens policy

Employee in Sierra Vista AZ decided that he would only take $500 cash from me no more to deposit into my Chime account and claimed it was Walgreens policy. He made it up, I looked up Chimes policy that was determined by two companies collaborating together to make this business transaction work and the policy is $1,000/day or $10,000 per month.

His name is Josiah or something and this is one of many many complaints I have with employees in this terrible town. Sierra Vista has quit possibly the lowest education and progressive or even mediocre employees that are just polite - everyone here treats everyone else like utter and complete [censored]. I have never experienced such a vile town in my life… utter garbage employees and garbage town. No businesses do anything about it bc it’s so pervasive.

Please fix this issue as no one can just make up their own policies that’s what a business is for.

Thanks Walgreens

Desired outcome: Train employees how to understand the policies that work in partnership with Chime.

Walgreens pharmacy

I am on auto refill. Scripts including refills seldom go smoothly. Partial fill, long waits for refills and often run out of important meds. I have had it and while an attempt was made to refil a scrip several days ago (I had to phone..no autorefill) I finally received a partial fill of 5 tablets! and was later informed next wednesday it would be ready! I called today, completely out of med, ant was ready to transfer all of my many scripts elsewhere. A sub pharmacist, Stacy, saved you ... and within minutes I was told the scrip was filled. A young man delivered them! as the pharmacy, once again, was closing early. I am wanting to be a customer...but the situation becomes worse with time. I will give it another go, thanks to Stacy, but one more incident and I will cease my relationship with Walgreens.

Desired outcome: response will be welcomed! Please, please get this house in order. I am not alone in my disappointment in what could be a wonderful service.

Walgreens No pharmacist - pharmacy closed - can't get script that was filled for adhdi

I travel for business and returned home from traveling on Friday evening to pick up two prescription from Walgreens in clermont that were filled the day prior. I went through drive through and the pharmacy was closed. I went inside and the store manager said it was closed due to not being able to find a pharmacist. Next stated that the pharmacy would be closed on Saturday as well due to not having a pharmacist found.. However they did instruct me to call another Walgreens in the area to get my prescription and. I have done so and due to the fact that is a controlled substance I cannot pick up my prescription and I have an early AM flight on Sunday morning.. My prescription was filmed already on Thursday to accommodate my travels however I cannot get my prescription nor can I get in touch with my doctor due to it being a weekend. Also, I will be traveling out of state to Tennessee And my doctor is not licensed to prescribe Tennessee. This is very difffiicullt and have had to change travel for work. Who at Walgreens corporate can assist?

Desired outcome: Need your walgreens pharmacy to be open so I can pick up my already filled prescription prior to traveling out on my business trip. I am flying out at 6 AM, Sunday morning, Aug 14th

Walgreens Pharmacy

The pharmacy staff being rude, unhelpful, argumentative with my prescriber, and overall unprofessional and horrible service. On many occasions since unfortunately having to leave CVS pharmacy due to insurance changes in 2017 to today in 2022, with today's interaction being the straw that breaks the camel's back into switching to Walmart or hospital pharmacy. I filled my prescription via online only for it to not be filled and deleted (presumably by lazy overnight staff who did not want to deal with a difficult prescription) and to try again online, with it only allowing for next-day refills (now that I have taken my meds for the day I am out assuming I'd be able to pick it up this morning) so now I have to call. The lady on other end of the phone has a very hard time understanding me (obvious language border) and I have to repeat phone number to her many many times before I get frustrated and repeat my number loudly to which she says to "call back again I can't understand you which I interrupt with "Please get your manager or the pharmacist, I am not waiting in line again because you cannot understand me." The pharmacist finally helps me out, but I am sick of these kinds of interactions at this Walgreens (9700 Menaul in ABQ NM) and sick of getting sick because they delay or deny my meds to argue with my doc. Unacceptable behavior from this walgreens and its staff.

Desired outcome: Speedy and immediate transfer of prescriptions out of Walgreens with Walgreen's FULL COOPERATION AND WITHOUT PROTEST TO MY DOCTOR.

Walgreens Walgreens Pharmacy Customer service and availability of Perscriptions

I am writing this complaint in regard to Walgreens on San Pablo Dam Rd in El Sobrante California. The pharmacy department there is terrible. The wait times for prescriptions are unacceptable and it is impossible to reach anyone in the pharmacy to speak with at any time. My daughter was diagnosed with a Staph infection and prescribed Cephalexin on 08/02/2022 which was never filled at the El Sobrante Pharmacy. I finally got a hold of someone today who was able to find her information in the system and the prescription was sent to a different Walgreens which I was not informed of. So now I am waiting for the RX to be filled so I can pick it up.

Kylie Hunt

Desired outcome: More Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs to get Perscriptions filled and to patients in a timely fashion as well as better communication with less rude attitudes from staff.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Cleveland Ga Pharmacy is understaffed and many that currently work there are rude and uninformed . Tried refilling a prescription and was informed that my insurance would not cover and it would cost me $500 . I requested speaking with pharmacist and was denied that and another employee chose to speak with me . I tried to explain my side and was met with rudeness and disrespect. After leaving the pharmacy I came home to call my insurance company and was informed that it was an issue with the pharmacy and that my copay should have been zero dollars . All they had to do was to try and run it again . Walgreens has forever lost my business . Maybe they are trying to run people off ? Seems that way .

Desired outcome: Apology for the error and employee/ pharmacist discipline .

Walgreens Pharmacy

on 7/18/2022 Walgreens on Chesterfield Parkway St. Louis Missouri filled a prescription for Pfizer Estring. In reading the enclosed information on Etring it advised not recommend for stroke victims.

This Walgreens Pharmacy fills another prescription for me for Eliquis. Eliquis is a drug related to the prevention of additional strokes in stroke victims.

I visited the Walgreens Pharmacy and ask to return the drug. They declined.

I was under the impression that having my prescriptions filled at Walgreen the pharmacist would assist in determining if any drug was not suitable.

I am disappointed. The drug was not inexpensive.

$217.00+ Estring

Walgreens billing

I received a letter from my Walgreens on Thursday the 4th of aug stating that a prescription from 12/17/2021 was not paid by the johnson and johnson company for my medication Xarelto. I was on the phone for about three hours trying to find out who could help me with this matter. I called the number on the letter and was told that they would connect me to the proper people and when they connected me it was a totally different company so I went on Walgreen's website and found the number. I was told that they couldn't help me because I needed to talk to the pharmacist first which I did. he looked into my medications file and said that that was closed and that I needed to speak to someone that could help me. he suggested I bring a copy of the letter in so he could give it to the manager to find out what would be done. also, the plan that I am on with johnson and johnson does not make me pay a copay which I paid 10.00 and should not have been charged a co pay. so I need to talk to someone that can help me straighten this matter out and that I get my 10.00 back for something that I should not have had to pay in the first place. sincerely, Jeannine Buffington

Walgreens freestyle libre , 14 day sensor , Ins. coverage

Date and time: Feb. 10th 2020

Walgreens ran a coupon on the said product instead of billing my ins. company which woud have covered it all.

I in turn had to keep paying Walgreens at 75.00 per month out of my own limited finances because for some reason they would not bill my insurance at my continueoes questing that they do that.

I have been paying over 900.00 for the year using the coupon when my Ins. company Blue Cross would have covered it all.

Please help me rectify this issue as soon as you can.

The Tech's just do not want to follow thru the correct way in this matter.

Walgreens Pharmacy Service - Customer Care

On Wednesday, August 3, 2022 @ 8:30 am, I was called by the Walgreens pharmacy manager (@Homestead & Tidwell Rd). I was rudely told that since all my other prescriptions were at a different location, I should have it filled there. I asked for a prescription transfer to the other location, she said she would, but never proceeded with the request. My current pharmacy (E. Mt. Houston Rd.) did not have it in stock, and it would take 3-4 days.

I asked my sister to intervene for me and pick-up the prescription; Here is her affidavit:

Upon approaching the consultation desk and giving the date of birth, the reception from the pharmacist was anything but professional. She was unable to look at me directly in the eye, and immediately, called the other pharmacist. She abruptly left me at the consult, to attend another customer, left the area and invited me into the clinic area. When we were both seated, (still no eye contact from her), she said “This is the way this is going to go”. She mentioned calling the doctor’s office about the prescription. I informed her that my sister only takes the medication (upon doctor’s directive) if her pain is a 7. I also told her that my sister recently had a pacemaker inserted. I once again asked if she would fill the prescription this one last time and transfer the remaining refills to the other pharmacy. She relented and said she would. I phoned ahead to ask if the prescription was ready to pick up and the price. I was told the amount was zero. When my sister arrived to pick up the prescription, there were only 20 pills (the doctor prescribes a 90-day supply).

Pharmacists are a vital part of the health community, and as a patient (who hates to take medication), I expect a professional bedside manner, patient empathy, and service to everyone that patronizes the Walgreens pharmacy. I can’t phantom that a pharmacist would take a patient’s health into their own hands and presume to diagnose a medical condition refusing to dispense medication. I moved all my prescriptions to the other pharmacy because of inefficiency and customer service at the Tidwell & Homestead location. I am still at a loss as to why my current pharmacy (E. Mt. Houston Rd) has not (or will not) order this medication. I have called my physician to request yet another RX to be faxed to my current pharmacy location.

I would like to a follow-up on the resolution of my complaint.

Sincerely,

Cynthia L. Covington _DOB _03/29/1962

Desired outcome: Reprimand tyrannical unprofessional conduct of any pharmacist toward customers. Revisit professional ethics, sensitivity training, a customer survey system for pharmacy visits.

Walgreens Pharmacist

This is in no way a complaint, but I could not find 0rher away to praise one you your employees. Sue a pharmacist who works at Your Santa Fe, NM Walgreen stores located on the corner of Zia and St. Francis Dr. August 3, 2022, my doctor ordered a holiday supply of 10 mg Oxy from the Zia Rd. pharmacy. The pharmacy did not have the required drug in 10mg, I explained to the cashier that I was leaving for London in 3 days and had to have my prescription filled. I was referred to a pharmacist named Sue. Sue went far, far out of her way to help explained to me that her pharmacy did not have the 10mg Oxy but did have enough 5 mg tablets. The problem being she would need a new prescription for 5 mg Oxy to fill the script. She called the prescribing doctor only to find out the office had closed at noon and would not return until August 8,2022. This was far after I was supposed to be in London. Sue managed to get an after-hours doctor and had the original prescriptions cancelled and rewrote a prescription for 5mg tablets to be take two at a time.

This whole process took over 3 hours and never once did Sue give up.

Desired outcome: Sue worked a mircle and today I am ready to board my flight to London. I cannot express how grateful I am. Please forward this to the appropriate person. Thank you,John Quintana, 3034 Plaza Blanca, Santa Fe, NM 87507.

I am in ABQ NM and I wish we had techs as good as Sue. ABQ Walgreens is awful and id advise you if you ever travel here to be careful with what location you use, and avoid the 9700 Menaul location like the plague especially since you take a controlled substance, I take a much more benign controlled substance and they will call to argue with my prescribers.

Walgreens No available pharmacist

I am a senior citizen who uses the Walgreens drug store located at 25 Park St., Lee, Ma. 01238. On many occasions I have tried to pick up my prescription medications only to find that the pharmacy was closed. On those events there was a sign in front of the pharmacy area referring patients to call another number and/or go to another neighboring pharmacy over 10 miles away. The store manager told me in May 2022 that the Pharmacist called in sick. On Wed. July 28, 2022 I spoke with an assistant in the pharmacy who apologized for any inconveniences and explained the following: There is NO REGULARLY assigned Pharmacist to this location. I was aghast! How could this be? She claimed that Walgreens knew about it already. Different Pharmacists are assigned one day a week (WEDNESDAY) for a month. The next month another Pharmacist is assigned (not necessarily the same one). Currently the pharmacy in Lee is only open on Mondays and Wednesdays when the Pharmacist is present. If the Pharmacist is absent, the pharmacy is CLOSED. I find this unacceptable. How do you treat the elderly patients and all patients in such a cavalier manner. I demand that a regular Pharmacist be assigned immediately. On a limited income and high gas prices, patients should not be expected to drive from town to town in hopes of finding a cooperating Walgreens to procure your lifesaving medicine. This is absurd and must be addressed ASAP.

Desired outcome: I would like a regularly assigned Pharmacist to be assigned immediately to the Park St. location in Lee, Ma. Please respond to me at [protected] [protected]@verizon.net Thank you. Carryl Cole
