Walgreens Festus pharmacy

I have used this pharmacy for several months & have never had more rude, nasty customer service in my 65 years. There are only a couple of friendly employee there. Yesterday was the worse. I had made a trip in the morning when Anthony told me he would get my meds ordered and when I went back in the afternoon 2of 3 were ordered and I was speaking to the tech about it a rude rag head pharmacist jumped into it to tell me I could not yell at her staff & I wasn't it and I just wanted to get my meds filled and leave. She decided to try to stare me down and I told her I could stare at her as long as she could stare at me. She told me she didin't have to fill my medicine so today I got it filleld elsewhere and will from here on out. But people should not have to be treated like crap. I ask for the manager of the store and she said there was't one and I know all stores have a manager! Her staff just stared in amazment in her nasty attitued and hateful manner. I'm sure this is not a first.

Desired outcome: Fire her or send her back where she came from she sure doesn't know how to be American /customer friendly

Walgreens pharmacy service

June 27, 2022, at approx. 6:30 pm at Walgreens store# 10177. on receipt, it is AID A000000025010901. I will never come to this Walgreens for Pharmacy service again. My girlfriend is bipolar and does not make any money. I went to pick up meds for her. The first he asked me was, did I know the price for her med, as some were expensive, I asked the staff (male Hispanic, black hair approx. 5'11' ) to check the price on Good RX. He asked me which one? and that 'often' the insurance price is better. In my mind I thought, he should just check the expensive ones. I requested he check them all. he refused. then demanded I show him the GoodRx card, which I told him was on file. I had one on my phone, but I needed to look for it. he insists I show him the card, I became agitated, and finally the manager (a black shortish middle-aged woman stepped in), she looked up the prices and it turned out I saved $50 using GoodRx on one med. if I let the male staff BULLY me, I would have lost $50. They said I was being 'rude'. It is not my behavior that is rude. it is theirs. I asked the manager for his name or employee #, but she refused to give it and even said that 'he was their best employee'. The staff needs to understand that they are to be paid to provide a service to the customers. This male staffer seems to feel that if he feels like it, he will check the prices on Good Rx and give me the best prices. In this case, if I did not insist, I would have paid $50 more. That is a lot of money for my girlfriend who is not working and struggling financially. The idea that they can 'bully' customers so that they become too afraid to ask seems to be their manner of operation. I refuse to give my business to a company who allows their staff to operate in this manner. What is WalGreens mission statement.

I will not use Walgreens again.

John Chew

[protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: I would like the manager of the Pharmacy to issued an apology. and the male staffer fired or reprimanded. GoodRx prices to be checked without arguments.

You have that right---they are trained to be rude bullies at that Walgreens pharmacy. My experience exactly. Have never heard of customer service, especially when the customer usually has to wait in a line of 8-10 which already tries the patience. Needs a major overhaul.

Walgreens Managers

I have been working at Walgreens for a year now and our general manager got changed this year. We’ve always had this one morning manager that thinks she runs everything and is taking advantage of the general manager by giving her free rides so she can change our schedule. By her behavior corina (general manager) hasn’t done her job because she’s putting Darlene (morning manager) in control of everything. Making everyone feel uncomfortable to work there. Even other managers that are in the same position Darlene is in which I think is crazy.

Desired outcome: We want them to leave and we will try everything for them to leave.

Walgreens Pharmacy

My mom went to pick up her blood pressure prescription Saturday only to find out pharmacy was closed. They are closed on Sundays. I called Sunday to see if anyone could get her meds for us since they were ready. Was told “No” but they would be open at 8 today. I set an alarm to be there at 8, since her pressures are getting concerningly high. Drive- through is closed. I park and walk in and the doors are still closed in pharmacy. I ask an employee when they open. She calls their shift leader and then tells me they should be open any minute. I stand there and stand there- nothing. A pharmacy employee walks by and tells me pharmacy doesn’t open until 10. I tell her they just told me 8. There is a sign that says 10. So even the employees and managers on duty don’t know what the hours are!? I explain to the employee that I really need my mom’s meds could someone just ring them up since they were ready. NO! I explain that if her pressures get much higher I’ll have to take her to ER. “ Sorry, our registers are closed.” Used to be able to rely on Walgreens. Beyond disappointed and frustrated! They said they only have one pharmacist so they are short-staffed. I understand that. But when the meds are ready and there are pharmacy staff there, in a situation like this can a register not be opened?

Desired outcome: I want medication that was ready 2 days ago and for all staff to know hours!

Walgreens Store manager on duty with negative attitude

Night manager Navada Taylor at Walgreens #15344, 11500 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23233 refused to ring up 6-inch Smile&Save Paper Plates, 64S [protected] at the price on the shelf of 2 for $3.50. Time was 6:22 p.m. on 6/23/2022. She charged me 50 cents more than the shelf sticker which was not a sale price. This complaint is not so much the money, but the manager being obnoxious in telling me to leave them or pay the price of $2.00 each. She told me the price might change on the 24th and I had to pay that price. I have never had a store refuse to go by the shelf price. The manager definitely needs trained in customer service and service with a smile instead of staring me down. Her attitude was that Walgreens management won't care about my complaint. I will switch my nearly $1,000 out of pocket pharmacy business to another brand pharmacy if I have to deal with untrained obnoxious staff. I have a photo of the shelf sticker price of 2 for $3.50.

Desired outcome: I would like the 50 cents, but most of all I want the managers at this store and other Walgreens trained in customer service and not have a negative attitude.

Walgreens Pharmacy rx

This is an ongoing issue with your pharmacy every time I try and get my regular prescription refilled it is always always a problem it’s either blamed on the fact that the insurance company won’t come through even though I’ve offered to pay out of pocket or it’s some kind of an issue with them not being able to fill it for some of a reason every time I go to refill a simple prescription for testosterone it never is successful and is never easy your pharmacy here at this particular store 3361 North Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear Arizona it is the absolute worst customer service they absolutely do not care about customers in line at the pharmacy nor do they have a desire to help I do not expect any kind of a return call or return comment from Walgreens as I know that I am only one customer and I mean absolutely nothing to you. the fact that I’m not returning to any Walgreens ever means absolutely nothing to you and you will never feel a single tiniest dent in your profits. However should you decide to actually give a damn and try and at least contact one of your prior customers in hopes that maybe they won’t slander your name for the rest of their lives you can call me at [protected] my name is Bill Johnston.

On June 21 2022 I purchased 5 bags of the above mentioned items. The purchased amount was 2/6.00. The total amount should have been 15.25 I was charged 18.00. I explained to the Manager about the charge was wrong she said the system is right, and there's nothing she can do. I was requesting my refund.

Walgreens Pharmacy

1525 N Veterans Pkwy, Bloomington, IL

Pharmacy has been unethical, lied to my Dr. on multiple occasions. This time is holding my script 20 days past my refill. I call the1-800 # they say it is up to the discretion of the pharmacist. Do I need to make an appointment with the pharmacists now. What a JOKE. MY doctor prescribes these medications for a reason, call my Doctor if you think something is wrong. Walgreens has charged me 159$ instead of 13$ because 4 TIMES because WALGREENS screwed up my pre-authorizations. There is an AFRICAN AMERICAN pharmacists who is very RUDE...next time she talks to me like she did...she may need a visit to the dentist. I provided receipts and pre-authorization. Yet this pharmacists continues to harass me.

Desired outcome: Prescriptions dispensed CONSISTENTALLY. Not at a WALGREENS PHARMACISTS DISCRETION. What happens when Walgreens gets an pharmacists who is crazy? Like3 1525 Veterans Bloomington.

Desired outcome: I don't know but I'm very upset that I paid more than I should have for items coupons should have been accepted prices shown on the shelf next to you it said items should be should be honored

Walgreens Was shorted medication and have not received what they stole from me

I was shorted 100 Tamsulosin fairly recently, and that issue did get resolved to My satisfaction.

This new issue, however, has not been resolved. I started taking Tramadol that My Doctor prescribed on April 30th. It had a refill that I had filled on May 26th, that I picked up on the 28th, so I would have them to start taking after the original prescription was gone. I started taking that prescription for Tramadol on Tuesday May 31st. I take 4 a day as prescribed. On Saturday June 4th, just after my 2nd Tramadol for that day, and I decided to count my Tramadol. I took 18 from that prescription so far up to that point so I should have had 102. I had 62. 40 Short!

Since that day I have been to that pharmacy at least 4 times to get the issue resolved. The Pharmacy Manager Noah, (something. I don't know His last name), said He would give Me what They owe Me, but wouldn't do it again. He didn't do that, and tried to make Me feel like I was trying to rip them off. I Told Him, "Either You need to re-calibrate Your counting machine, or someone is taking meds from people." He shot back with, "No one is taking meds", and not one word about the machine, which I still think is very funny. Not funny ha ha, but funny strange/odd. Also This. Excuse Me? If they short Me meds again, They WILL be giving Me what They stole from me! He said something about My Doctor, and I was so upset by then I just left.

Today I went there again and He wasn't there. So the head pharmacist should have resolved My issue, but refused to do so. I threatened to call the Police which I am still very close to doing.

I called My doctor a few minutes ago and left a message. He works all day in Iowa at Veterans Medical, and after He leaves there He usually comes over here in Illinois to work a few more hours each evening. I am currently waiting for Him to call Me back.

Noah did not even need to drag My Doctor, who is a solid good Man, into this mess. The More Noah tries to upset Me enough that I just give up, makes Me think He is the one who stole My meds. Stranger things have happened! A Customer there told My Wife that Her Mother had been shorted Meds MANY Times at that same Walgreens Store! So This is not an isolated incident!

Also She and My Wife heard a worker behind the pharmacy counter say, "He's a hippie, so I wouldn't do it either". That is VERY DISCRIMANATORY and Worthy of Note!

I do have long hair, which I started growing that way when I was young as a silent rebellion, to People treating others like they are not worth the time it takes to look at or talk to. I am now 60 years old and have always led a life that I think God want's Me to lead. I am always polite to strangers and do things to help the down trodden, when I am able to do so.

This store btw is at 4000 Avenue of the Cities in Moline, IL. 61265.

Phone Number is [protected]

Desired outcome: I would like an Apology for Them making Me feel Like a thief and a liar, and the meds they shorted Me.

Walgreens Staff

I work at a doctors office and when I see that I need to contact this specific Walgreens store, I automatically cringe. I have never been in contact with such disrespectful staff members. When we call from our office, we are on a long wait time always, which would be OK if we were greeted nicely/properly. When they answer the phone, they do not say a word, they automatically put us right on hold for even longer. I cannot even count on one hand, how many times they picked up and just hung up, making us obligated to leave a voicemail. Our patients need us to speak with their pharmacies in a timely manner sometimes, which is why I press the option to "speak to pharmacy staff" yet get hung up on most of the time at this location. I have no issues with any other Walgreens locations. It is pathetic at Forbes drive.

Desired outcome: Newer, friendlier staff.

Walgreens Attitude at Metropolis, IL, Walgreens

I had placed an order for three products online. Two were in the store, ready for pick-up, which I did the next morning. When the associate came out she was looking at her scanner and saying what is your name, you could have just tapped on your smartphone that you were here, you said your name too quickly. She had a bag in her hand. I told her I was Myra Bennett and was that name on the bag? She said yes, but that I had said my name so quickly "no one" was sure. I said I didn't guess we had a problem as someone heard it correctly and she had brought it out. She mentioned again about using my smartphone to which I told her again I don't use a smartphone, don't want one. I felt that she had lectured me in a way just over some tech issue.

The other item had to be ordered and shipped to the store. I received an email that the item had shipped, but I did not receive an email from the store that it was ready for pick-up for several days. In the mean time my situation had worsened, I had to contact my dentist, who then helped me.

To be nice, afraid that my item might arrive and be in the way, I called the store to explain that I would not be picking it up and wanted the amount credited to my card. The manager told me it had arrived and I would have to pick it up, use an invoice # on the receipt, and call Customer Service for a refund. I told her I would have to drive 30 miles round trip for a product I could not now use and would just have to throw away. She insisted that I had to pick it up. I told her again I was not going to drive 30 miles for an item that they had not notified me was at the store and was too late for my needs. She said I could not get a refund without the authorization # on the receipt.

She kept to her line of me having to pick it up. I told her I would not make the drive and I understood that I was just one customer that would no longer be using the store to which she said she felt I was putting words in her mouth.

At this point I had had it. I called Customer Services. They didn't know why the store manager had insisted I had to have the invoice number, asked for my order number which I gave her, and in two minutes had credited the amount back to my card. She said the store would return the item if I had not picked it up after 10 days. Why didn't the manager just tell me that in the first place? She caused the situation to escalate. Later that evening, I did receive an email that the item was at the store, but the item had been there for three days prior.

This is the same store that at one time I had placed an online order of a photograph I had taken to be placed on a canvas to donate to charity for an auction. When I received it, one corner had not been done correctly and I said I would not accept it and that I wanted it done over. The associate took my canvas, gave a loud exhale, turned towards the back of the photo section where there was a large waste can, aimed my canvas like a basketball, and threw it through the air into the waste can. I told her to just forget the correction and to credit the amount back to my card which she did, and I left without something needed for an auction that evening. I followed up with a call to the manager who did apologize, but the same employee still works there.

Customer Service has credited the amount back to my card, this isn't about money. This is about the way some employees at that store act. The pharmacy are nice people and professional, and there is a woman who is normally at the front counter of the store during the day shift who is loved by our community. But some of these other people, like the current manager, and the woman who brought out my order, need some direction in customer service.

I will never go to that store again even though it had been very convenient for my COVID and flu vaccinations. They've lost my business. My husband will still do his scrip pick-ups as they are in the system, and he can use the drive-thru. But, I'm done and will use one in a neighboring town.

Desired outcome: This store manager needs to be contacted and spoken to about this. I don't want to hear from her or the store.

Calling Walgreens Chino. Located on Central Ave. Is absolutely awful. I've been on hold for 18 minutes with two callers ahead of me. They keep clicking a buttons to continuously keep you holding. Zero personal touch. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, I also feel super weak and tired. It's absolutely dreadful. I've been sick and taking medicine for 23 years. Please do something. I've never had to reach out before. I'm begging for Walgreens Chino, answer my calls. Help me please. Check my phone. Never pretty

Desired outcome: I would like for my pharmacy to answer the phone. I would like to know who I'm speaking to. I'm still on hold now 28 minutes no human communication. 2 callers ahead of me. Poor babies

Walgreens Prescription

On Tuesday june 14, I dropped off a prescription at 425 pm at the Harper and Wyoming location in Albuquerque, NM and was told it would take 2 hours to fill. At 637 pm I received a phone call that my prescription was ready. I proceeded to the pharmacy and it had closed at 6 pm!

Why didn’t the pharmacist say it closed at 6 pm?! I do not know her name, but she had a lot of tattoos.

What terrible service when i have an infection and now have to wait an extra day.

Walgreens pharmacy continues to get worse and worse. What a joke.

Walgreens Pharmacy customer service

06/13/2022, I return reluctantly to Walgreens on 24th & L in Omaha, NE hoping it might be different this time - the definition of insanity! I waited for over 40 minutes in the drive thru pulled up to the window at long last only to have a “professional pharmacist” post a closed sign in front of my face. No words, no eye contact! Vapid rude professionals completely ignored that there were still 2 customers in line. The epitome of millennial self absorbed self centered jerks. You reap what you sow.

Desired outcome: My prescription

Walgreens Lack of pharmacy services and communication

I reside in Jacksonville, Florida. my mother and I have been doing our pharmacy services at the Walgreens located at 5340 Soutel Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32219, Store # 1986. We have recently been received little to no service at this location. Recently my mother ordered her refill prescription, we went to pick up, only to see signage on store window/pharmacy drive-thru that the pharmacy was closed. That prescription was transferred to another location.

During the month of June, my mother and I placed a refill order on during the weekend of June 6th. On Saturday, June 11th, I went online to check to see if our medications were ready for pickup, only to discover the pharmacy was once again closed. I reached out to the store manager who advised that the store was to reopen on Sunday, June 12th. I waited until today, Monday, June 13th to check on the status of the prescriptions only to find out that the pharmacy is now closed temporary.

I find this to be poor customer service on the behalf of Walgreen, for the pharmacy customers of this store location. I feel that there should have been an email or text message blast advising the customer population of the pharmacy closure status without us having to go online or drive to the store only to learn this. Granted, this store is located in an area of town that is not considered to be a fluent area, but superior customer service should be given regardless of where the store is located.

Desired outcome: I would like to see more communication from this pharmacy location as it relates to the status of the pharmacy opening and closure to ensure that my 81-year-old mother and others within our community can get their medications

Walgreens Customer service

Only about an hour ago I went to walgreens pharmacy in allentown on Tilghman Street... my total came out to 17.79$... I handed the pharmacist a 100 $ bill.. he immediately asked me if I had anything smaller because he wasn't sure if he had the change... I told him no... he starts to count out the money in the drawer, out loud he counted out the bills in front of me placing them on the table with confidence as if it all panned out... he counted it twice in front of me and it seemed like all was well... then I get into the car and I count out the change myself... I counted it 3, 4, 5 times.. $62.20... so I chevk my receipt and realize he was suppose to give me 82.20$... so ok no big deal. I'm not the kind of person to go haywire over a silly mistake, no harm no foul.. the drawer would obviously be over by $20 and so I will easily be able to prove what happened.. so I call walgreens when I get home and a lady answers, she was so nice! I explained the situation and she immediately wants to get the manager to count the drawer and verify my statement so she told me it's a hold for 15 minutes while they counted.. 15 mind go by and I hear someone say what is it I can help u with... in a really rude and cocky tone. I said, yeah I was just on hold I was waiting for the drawer to be counted... and he says "OK? What do u want" in am even ruder tone... at this point I realize I'm talking to the manager himself who counted out my change incorrectly... I said "I was there an hour ago and I got short changed 20$" and he was like "then why don't u come pick it up?" I said I don't have a car... can I pick it up tomorrow.. and he let's out this big annoyed sigh... "give me ur name" I did this and at this point he hangs up on me.. SO DISRESPECTFUL.. AND THIS IS A WALGREENS "MANAGER"... HE Was clearly to lazy to get the right amount of change from another drawer and hoped I was to stupid to notice... and then when I call him out he treats me like I'm stupid and like I'm beneath him... just cuz he's made that I wanted my change bsck... I'm not even made about that... I'm angry about the utter disrespect and lack of friendly service I received when I did NOTHING WRONG... I just tried to get back what was mine and he made me feel like I was a scumbag for it... I'm ashamed of walgreens service tonight... I'm just so bummed about it
