Very upsetting to try and shop the “Friday $5 Specials”.
About 1pm, I went the Vons by my house after work wanting to purchase StoneRidge Pastrami. They were completely out of the Pastrami that was advertised. I was told by a Vons supervisor that NO rain checks are issued on $5 specials and could not guarantee the product since it was delivered by a vendor. I know that “ADs” are planned weeks in advance. If your vendor could not supply you enough product maybe you shouldn’t put it on sale. She also said there was not enough shelf space to hold the product. Sorry, wrong answer. You need to make space for it. It’s on “SALE”!
Overall.. very poor follow through in advertisement, ordering, and inventory control, and customer service..

Desired outcome: Pls allow rain checks on the products that “VONs” put on sale, even the $5 Friday Sales. Each week I look forward to see the Vons Ad. I would like a response. Thank you
