UPS UPS steals your shipping and change of address fee and never delievers AND no signing or doorbell required. Let's Freeze our packages

Let's talk about real experiences!
1. UPS no longer rings door bells or required signatures for parcels - so if a parcel is stolen... how actually will pay for a new one? UPS drivers toss your parcel onto steps and walk away - they are too lazy to climb the stairs.
2. Pay a fee to UPS to change the date of delivery - Yes it is $2.10 BUT instead - they dont bother to show up on the new date - they say they attemped to delivery on the orginal day planned - state they were there (Cameras show no one arrived and no notice in mail box) and then decide to send messages that they are coming on the day you arranged - still no one comes, call in, person said - they will come on the monday now, still no one, say on tuesday it coming, then says on the way... what a nightmare - then read this am that it was returned to sender as per my request. Yet I was told it was being delivered to me TOMORROW. Wow. Call and spoke to one guy and then his manager and then promised that the upper management would call me today between 5-630 pm - NOPE. Problem is that the people on their side can make changes to the MYUPS account for us when we call in. My two ladies made changes and made wrong ones. I took two days off work so that i could sign for my package and prevent it from freezing (two have frozen from the same company via UPS already), Then spent 6 hrs on phone calls, approx one hr per day to be told package on its way with new dates and such. Then to be told - opps UPS is sorry, but they wont reimburse me my $2.10 for my delivery change notice or pay the shipper for my shipping costs OR pay me for my time! At least FED Ex Sends gift baskets and hand delivers packages when they mess up. Purlator rings door bells and puts your package in a better spot! The company that is using UPS has launched their complaint as well now! This company now must reship my package at their cost as UPS wont accept their mistake. how does a report from UPS that says: deliver for Jan 14, between 5-830pm happen when no one shows up? Then Jan 17, then a day after they return it to a shipper. WOW. They stole money from the shipper and myself. $2.10 is not alot but it was a fee that I paid on my credit card to ensure my delivery would occur. And No one calls you back as promised!
3. If your myups asks you to sign for your package before accepting - DONT DO IT. The Shipper says that they require it, UPS has now changed the rules so that they can drop off without it and take no responsibility. I refuse to sign off without receiving a package - that way UPS is responsible - How many customers have signed off and not recieved there package and there is nothing you can do about it? lazy UPS who blames it on Covid.

Desired outcome: UPS gets known for its poor service

UPS Customer service

I was trying to return 6 quarts, unopened, of Amsoil synthetic motor oil. To Arlington, TX.

I was told by customer service at Amsoil, to use UPS. That is who delivered it to me.

First, I went to The UPS Store in Richmond, Tx. The man there was very polite and helpful. However, he told me he couldn't ship my package because it was flammable liquid. He said I had to go to the UPS distribution center in Stafford TX. He even provided me with the address.

Second, as I was entering the UPS costumer area at the Stafford Location, around 11:30am Friday, January 21, 2022, I noticed signs saying masks were required. Many places, now, have these signs, but do not enforce the masks be worn. So, I went in. The lady behind the desk was not polite. She informed me you do not provide masks and I would have to leave. I just pulled my t-shirt up over my face and went on in anyway.

I was then informed that only licensed shippers, like Amsoil, could ship oil. It was flammable, Hazardous. And was rude about it.

Third, I went outside and called your hazardous material number and was informed that she was wrong. After being transferred to three different people, this is what I found out. She gave me a reference number to have anyone call and get the correct answer.

Fourth, because they were 5 minutes from closing, I went to another The UPS Store in Sugar Land, TX. The people there gave me no trouble. They knew if it was new, unopened, it was no problem to ship it.

I am complaining about the lady at the distribution center, not being educated enough to know, and being rude about it.

Desired outcome: An apology for being rude, and wasting my time.

One more complaint I would add. If you are going to require masks for customers, you should provide them. Very few places require them now. The few, medical, places I’ve been, do provide them.

UPS Pay extra and its delayed!

This is the worst company and i'm going to stop buying from companies that use them! I cannot get a package on time or without damage! I pay extra for next day shipping, I was supposed to receive a package yesterday, now it's delayed twice, each day until the next day. This is gd ridiculous! Quit giving dates you can't possibly make and stop charging for services you cannot provide! Just stop it! These people are pathetic, below mediocrity, lazy and don't deserve to be in business any more! I'm done! I'll buy local or from anyone who doesn't use them! Narcissistic a-holes and your caps hatred!

Desired outcome: GO OUT OF BUSINESS

UPS Shipping

In the summer of 2020 I ordered a new iPhone 12 Mini from Koodo. The shipper they use to ship their phones to customers is UPS. I was told by UPS that the package would be delivered some time on a Friday afternoon so I stayed home from about noon onward. By about 5:30 there was no sign of the package so I contacted UPS by phone. I was told that the driver would be there in about 30 - 40 minutes. Still no delivery so I contacted UPS by phone again. I was told that the address on the package did not exist and the package could not be delivered. I checked the address associated with the tracking number and it was correct and I confirmed with the agent on the phone that the address was correct. I asked the agent if I could pick the package up from the airport on Monday morning. He said sure and put a note on the file to that effect. On Monday morning I went to UPS at the airport and after waiting about 45 minutes to talk to an agent I was told that the package was on a truck to be delivered at my house and that they were not permitted to allow me to pick it up at their office. I asked how they were going to be able to deliver it if the driver was not capable of finding the address on the package. The woman in the UPS office could not answer me and so just disappeared into the back. So I called UPS and talked to another agent and asked the same question. He couldn't answer me either but insisted the package would be delivered some time that morning. So, being at their mercy, there was nothing I could do but go home and wait. The package did eventually get delivered. It is my opinion that the driver didn't feel like delivering my package on the Friday because it was the end of a very hot day and so said he couldn't find the address. If he had said he had ran out time, that would have made all the difference in the world.

Desired outcome: Let the public know that UPS provides terrible service

My neighbor saw UPS drop off packages at a vacant house, just left the boxes outside the front door, He went to investigate, turned out the boxes were for me containing prescription medication for my dogs, I would have lost the order if he didn't see the drop off, the driver never checked my address, oder # [protected] from Chewy.

Concerning UPS in Charleston WV, As far as I'm concerned, are a bunch of toothless, junky thieves. This is the second time a driver (this time of whom I've never seen before and had a look of guilt on his face when he drived up) tries to hand me an EMPTY bag which had contained a $200.00 computer part and ask me if I will accept it and take it to UPS to file a grievance. "A grievance?!?" I said. "This is somebody who has nabbed my [censored] off of YOUR truck. Let me remind you, there was already a two day delay for an imaginary snow storm that never really turned out to be anything. On the 19th whehn my package was supposed to be delivered, they bring my fiancee's order which is usually lady stuff and my order remained on the truck for an additional two days after. Surely to be "scoped" out and hoping since there's a package in my hand, that I will forget about MY 200.00 order. The next time this happens to me I will be giving them a visit and I will be getting NAMES! UPS will do nothoing, I certainly WILL! [censored] UPS!

UPS Punch bowl. From ebay.

I ordered a brass punch bowl from Ebay. My husband who is now deceased bought me one when he was in Korea but someone stole it. Anyway, I am 73 years old and have never had a problem with anyone on the shopping websites.
This time I ordered the punch bowl when it arrived the brass ladle was broken. I contacted the seller and he was quite rude. Like I said I have Never had a problem before so was not quite sure what to do. I contacted Ebay and they returned my money. Then the man contacted me and told me he had cancer and that he had to feed his animals. I felt bad. So I thought I'll just keep it and do without the ladle. He charged me extra money but when I opened the rest of the package the punch bowl would not even stand up. It was completely broken. I contacted him again and he said I was a liar, not sure what I was lying about But I have a broken punch bowl. He told me to contact UPS as he had insurance on it. $50.00. Now I paid 46.65. for a pile of junk. I wrote you right after Christmas but did not hear anything. I got Covid then and am not sure if it is because I am older but took me a long time to get over it. Please help me. I would truly like to be done with this angry man. God Bless and PLEASE tell me what to do next. I feel like a fool. I ordered a brass punch bowl from Ebay. UPS Next day air still isn't here and it's been 4 days

Cashier check for a new car ordered and mailed Jan. 6th "Next Day Air". Initial check of the tracking number 1Z1607850194020584 on Jan. 7th showed it was tendered to UPS the prior evening. Then later in the day Jan. 7th that line item disappeared and was replaced with "On the Way" from Arizona. A check on Jan. 8th in the morning replaced that line item with "On the Way" from Kentucky. No changes on January 9th. Today is January 10th at 10:54AM and it now shows an insane string of the package going from Arizona AND Kentucky to California to arriving in Portland to departing Portland then arriving Portland and now it's on a "late flight" causing an additional delay for delivery until the 11th. I am in Portland and that is the final delivery address. I called UPS and the lady, in an Indian accent, couldn't tell me anything the tracking didn't already tell me. She then told me to contact the shipper (my bank) because apparently they are privy to MORE tracking information than UPS itself! I had her repeat that at least 3 times hoping she would catch how insane that sounds but she just kept on going. I asked her in a clear voice "How does UPS, who generates the tracking information, not have access to that information yet the shipper does?". I've given up. The dealership sold the car this morning out from under me.

Desired outcome: UPS needs to go out of business as soon as possible. You ruin lives and piss people off daily. Customer service is a joke.

My daughter lives at 119 Coleman trail Travelers Rest, s.c.29690 I own the two lots and home behind her on the same drive. Which is 119 lot A Coleman trail. Travelers Rest, 29690 Your drivers come to deliver at 119 and either drops the package at my place 119 A and they have messed up the drive it's a paved drive. She has a note on the home I own at 119A stating that all packages she orders come to the yellow double wide, which is 119 Coleman trail, Travelers Rest, s.c.29690. They have room to drop her items off and turn around in her driveway, instead they come to my property up my drive and turn around, ( most of the time they continue to leave her packages on my porch, even though theirs a note on the door telling them not to) they have ruined my drive bye running off the side, cracking the driveway, ruining the yard bye running up in the grass and making a mess on the drive and in the yard. Your driver should under no circumstances, go up the drive and continue to destroy my yard and paved drive. This should be an easy drop at 119 Coleman trail Travelers Rest, s.c.29690. Drop off the item at 119 and turn around at their turn around spot, or back down the driveway. Please do not continue to drive up to 119 A and use my drive to turn around in. Your driver has destroyed the sides of my parking areas, he's messing up my yard and paved driveway . Iam not trying to be rude or threatening at all. But this will cost me big money to repair the damage already done bye your drivers. I put a pic of my home at 119A below, if you need pics of the damages I can take them and send to you. Thank.

Best Regards, Donald Ford

UPS Delay in delivery - chose expensive option to get delivery in time!

Had to return a product to the seller; which was time-bound. Chose more expensive UPS (within UPS plans) and over other carriers. UPS displayed a date of delivery as 29 Dec. Then after they picked up the package, it was changed to 30 Dec. My deadline was 31 Dec. So it was still okay. UPS then missed the delivery and delivered on 4th Jan! So we have missed the returns timeline and will not get the refund. And on top we have paid $265 for this shipment to UPS! When contacted their customer service; they provide scripted reason that the delay was due to China Customs as they changed procedures due to Covid. I asked for a proof and the date when UPS learned about this change. They send me a memo was dated 16 Nov. So when I shipped in the last week of Dec then already knew this procedure. I need UPS to pay the full refund of our product which was due from the seller - $755! How do we file this complaint official with the Consumer Grievance department of UPS? Tracking number is 1Z42HYT06700021612.

Desired outcome: Refund to be paid by UPS for misinformation to gain business.

UPS Delivery

My shipment was to delivered to my home address in Bastrop, Texas. Due to the clerk at the UPS Store entering the wrong street address, it was deemed not able to be delivered to this address. UPS supposedly found another address in Austin, Texas and my package was left at a lock box with no address given. When I called customer service, I was connected with a person whom I could barely understand and who attempted to handle my inquiry off of a script. I then requested to speak to a manager who also was nearly impossible to understand and she too seemed to work off of a script. For a company whose slogan was "We run the tightest ship in the shipping business", your ship is full of holes. On top of that, your customer service department sucks!

Desired outcome: Tell me where my package is so that my spouse can pick it up.

UPS Customer service

The Franklin Square UPS Store - I went in there to return a package to Amazon and I didn't have a mask on - neither did the girl who was assisting me - she pulled up her mask when I got to the counter and told me the next time I come in without a mask she won't serve me. I was astounded at the rudeness, the discrimination and the hypocrisy of it all. Then the manager chimed in after I expressed my disbelief and told me too bad don't come back.

Desired outcome: fire them

UPS Package delivery

Why are my packages left it the wet grassy ditch along a busy County road 500 feet from my house. Packages routinely are left behind the mailbox on the ground, rain or shine.

My paved driveway is 12 wide and we have a large unobstructed circle that is within 10 foot of a 12 wide x 60 foot covered porch (Front door)

For years your trucks successfully navigated our driveway, is there any reason for the driver to instead stop in the middle of the road and drop pages off along the road..

Note: 191st is a two lane road w a slight hill 300 feet top the East and a 50mph speed limit.

Best practices would suggest it's not smart to stop in the middle of the road if it can be avoided.

Desired outcome: Drive up my driveway and deliver my packages to front door at the address listed, preferably out of the rain.

UPS Refusal to deliver

3 days in a row they have refused to deliver packages. They claim the road is impassable due to snow. Box vans, log trucks, mail delivery, school bus, even FedEx were by here. Nope, not UPS. The last 6 months were drivers using their own personal vehicle to deliver. Is it UPS cannot afford to run the company trucks? Prices go up and service goes down.

Desired outcome: Just honor your terms of service.

UPS Failure to deliver package and customer service incompetence

My large, heavy package was delivered to the wrong address. It has been sitting in a neighbor's driveway for four days in the rain. I called to inform customer service of the situation and told them the address where it was erroneously delivered. All attempts to have it retrieved and delivered to me have failed miserably. At this point it is still in the wrong driveway. It is a 113 pound treadmill, so I can not just go get it! All this was conveyed to UPS customer service during each phone call.

Out of a total of 12 phone calls, here is what I have been told:
- I need to connect you to the freight shipping department. ?
- We need to start a package investigation to locate it. ?
- Can you just go get it? *#* !
- You will need to file a claim for a lost package. ?
- I will connect you with the delivery center. :-)
- I will contact the driver to come back and get it. :-)
No package yet... *#* !
- (Supervisor by the name of Michael) A special truck is required to deliver large items like that. I am tracking it and it should be delivered within an hour after this phone call. I will be personally responsible for this case. What is your phone number? I will call if there are issues.
** Two days later, no treadmill, no phone call.

At least have the decency to call the customer back.

Incredibly disappointed, and surprised by the total lack of training and integrity.

Desired outcome: 1. A phone call frome Micheal the supervisor. 2. Retrieve my package and deliver it ASAP !!!!!!!!!

This is one more of MANY DELIVERIES MADE TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.
WHY CANT ANYONE READ THE HOUSE NUMBER BEFORE DROPPING OFF?
i actually caught a UPS driver dropping off 2 packages at my house that were for the neighbor 2 doors down. I turned the driver around to the correct house.
Our homes ARE CLEARLY NUMBERED.
