My girl friend and I went to bay street Tim Hortons on August 5th at 9:30 pm. We provided our order and asked that we have our change provided in the form of change (we only used a $20 bill). The employee began to be rude and questioned if she was allowed to. She proceeded to provide the change, but told us she'll never do it again. She began to gossip with the other employee about us. Its one thing to not be allowed to provide change, but to act unprofessional and begin to negatively gossip is not right. We felt mistreated, so we asked the employee what the name of the cashier was. She told us she is not allowed to provide names. The cashier was not wearing a name tag and I feel like the employees were grouping up against us, the customers. I don't find this behaviour acceptable by any means.
