Tim Hortons review: health and safety concerns

I visited an En Route on Highway 401 at Cambridge. Ordered beverages, a breakfast meals and baked goods. The person who was on the cash register was wearing gloves as he accepted money from me. He then reached into the baked goods area and immediately began picking up the baked goods while wearing the same gloves he just handled money with. I brought this to his attention...thank God a manager was available to say that it wasn't the protocol and made him remove his gloves, wash his hands and put on new gloves. With flu and cold season, not to mention the outbreak of the Coronavirus, you would think they would have proper training in place. Very disappointed. I frequent this stop when visiting my elderly parents in Woodstock. If I was not paying attention, it makes me wonder if others noticed it when they received their order as well. Very disappointed!
